Seeing as my husband is Italian and speaks the language I couldn’t possibly love this book more!! The illustrations are vibrant and large, the story is educational and so adorable, and Italian words (and their English meaning) are sprinkled throughout the book. What an absolute delight of a book for a little one in your life.

Thank you to @tlcbooktours, @amplifypubgroup, @mascotbooks, and @mariamooreauthor for the gorgeous gifted copy.

Thank you to TLC Book Tours and the author for the free book. These opinions are my own.

What a perfect day to escape to Rome!

In this sweet children's book, we take a tour with the local Sofia on her blue Vespa. We get to see all sorts of parts of the city and learn about the Italian language and food. The illustrations are delightful. They evoke a magical sense of wonder. And the text calls attention to the sense while showing a beautiful city.

Now I want pesto and gelato tonight.
