Tracy and her mother agree on one thing - this is going to be Tracy's summer for romance. Her mother has big plans - a worldly, sophisticated guy, an outsider to their small seaside town.
But Tracy's got her eye on David, the assistant chef at the restaurant where she works. And David likes her too. They'd be a perfect couple, if only Tracy's mother would give him a chance.
Then they cook up a plan so delicious, Tracy's mother is sure to come around.
This is 4/5 Sweet Dreams stars, not 4/5 such-a-great-unputdownable-book stars. For a Sweet Dreams book this is up there with the best ones. Likeable characters who aren’t immature, obnoxious or dumb (like so many other SD books are). The mother was a bit annoying but that’s how we got a story happening I guess. I liked that they got to know each other through work before dating so I’m glad they got their happy ending.
I'm reading to unhaul books at my parents' and of course, I encountered a Sweet Dreams book! The nostalgia tho. Favourite parts: "Always bring a handkerchief." "Edward. Edward was the vampire." Did Stephenie Meyer plagiarize this book? Lolol
