Nothing is wilder than forbidden love. I’m learning that the hard way…
Scarlett is a free spirit in every sense of the word.

She’s sexy. Chaotic. Used to getting whatever she wants. And right now?

She wants me.

The problem is that she only plans to be in our small town for a few weeks. She has no intention of putting down roots here or anywhere else.

And she’s my best friend’s completely off-limits sister.

I wish I could say the story ended there. That I kept my mind (and hands) off her.

Spoiler It wasn’t and I didn’t.

Turns out that ignoring our chemistry was impossible. But now, I’m in trouble, because
I’ve started to fall for a woman who isn’t afraid of anything…except being tied down.

Meanwhile, my biggest fear is losing the love of my life when she realizes the lengths I’m willing to go to for a happily ever after…

Wild Love, Book 1 in The Wilde Brothers series, is a spicy, brother’s best friend/neighbors to lovers contemporary romance.

Can you go home?

A new series, and we are in Telluride, CA, to meet the Wilde Brothers. These brothers embrace their last name and what we know of them is that this is going to be a fun series.

Scarlett is a nomad, traveling from place to place where the theater takes her. She spends little time at home, as she feels she does not fit in, and her family disapproves of her choices. But she has come home; she needs to regroup and figure out her next move. Eli Wilder was not a distraction she saw coming, but while the chemistry is red hot, she has an expiration date and plans to keep her time in Telluride short.

Together Eli and Scarlett discover new dreams, and directions. We meet new friends, and reconnect with old. A great series start, and I am looking forward to all the Wildes finding their one.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

5 Star Review Wild Love (The Wilde Brothers #1) by Lea Coll

When I heard that Lea Coll had a new series releasing, I was excited. If Wild Love is anything to go by then she has a winning series on her hands.

First off is Elijah (Eli) Wilde and the woman who steals his heart, Scarlett’s story and what a wonderful pairing.

I love small town romances and Telluride, Colorado sounds like a great place to visit. It is a genre that Ms. Coll does extremely well. The characters were easy to relate to and I found myself fully invested in their story.

Scarlett should be off limits, after all she is the younger sister of Chance, Eli’s best friend. However the heart wants who the heart wants and lines are crossed.

I enjoyed the push and pull dynamic as their relationship progressed. What follows is a well written, entertaining story as Eli does his best to convince Scarlett to stay.

The question is, will he succeed? One click and find out.

This book is a fantastic start to a new series about the Wilde brothers in Telluride, Colorado. Elijah (Eli), the oldest Wilde brother and CEO of the family owned ski resort, is stunned by the reappearance of Scarlett. She has grown into a curvy beauty since he last saw her years ago when she was a teenager. Despite his immediate attraction to her, he knows he can’t act on it because her brother, Chase, is his best friend. Scarlet is a nomad who never stays in one place long and he is not going to risk his friendship with her brother or his heart when his life is firmly planted in Telluride. Best laid plans definitely don’t work in this case. In a matter of weeks, Scarlett and building a future with her is all Eli can think about.

As a theatre actress, Scarlett travels the country and visits her family only sporadically. An incident during the last production she was in has lead her to visit her family to take time to regroup. Being back in her home town isn’t easy for Scarlet, as everyone wants to know if she is staying, which will make her family happy, or when she is leaving again. She finds staying with her parents rather stressful and she is grateful when Eli offers her the use of a condo across the hall from his penthouse at the resort. Sharing the rooftop deck, pool and hot tub leads to the combustion sparks of the sparks between them and to some very steamy interludes. An opportunity to work with children on a play is presented to her and Scarlett finds it more enjoyable and rewarding than she ever expected. She finds herself headlong in love with Eli and contemplating a change in her lifestyle and career. But there is trouble ahead and both she and Eli will have choices to make. The most important of which may be whether or not to fight for their love and a future with each other.

I loved the chemistry between Eli and Scarlett, their banter and their rapport. I admired the effort Eli puts in to helping Scarlett and those he cares about. Both Eli and Scarlett have wonderfully supportive friends. A change of perspective finally leads Scarlett to see how her actions have affected her family and friends, which leads her to rethink her choices in regard to her career and personal life. I enjoyed reading this fabulous and engaging book.

I wholeheartedly recommend this book.

What a great series starter! This brand new series is for the Wilde brothers who are friends with brothers that we met in a previous Colorado series. Wilde might be their last name but their reputation definitely lives up to the moniker with their fun and wild ways growing up in beautiful Telluride, Colorado. This is the story of Eli and Scarlett, who happens to be the younger sister of Eli’s best friend Chance.

Scarlett is a free spirit who comes and goes as she likes never concerning herself with the feelings of those that she leaves behind. As a traveling actress she gets her fill of travel, excitement and seeing the country all while getting paid. The trips home have become less and less over time as folks from home seem to pressure her to stay rather than to go and satisfy her thirst for travel. Over time she has convinced herself that it didn’t matter that she was gone and that her family and friends didn’t understand or miss her.

Eli is the oldest Wilde brother who has taken over running the resort and absolutely loves it. He loves his life in Telluride but has begun to realize that life has become predictable and a bit stale. Scarlett is a breath of fresh air for him, reminding him of adventure and excitement and how it is missing from his life now as a grown man.

These two have the best banter, an undeniable connection and a chemistry that is smoking hot! They begin a fling because they can’t not. They keep the fling quiet so as not having to explain anything to overprotective Chance. Other than the secret relationship, they seem to bring out the best in one another and truly help the other become the best version of themselves.

I loved the growth in Scarlett as she discovers what she really wants out of her life and where she wants to be and why. I love how her friends are supportive in trying to get her to see how much they mean to her without holding her back. I love Eli’s epiphany too.

This was a great story with many new characters to get to know. I also loved getting a peek at old friends too. As always this is a great story of friendship, family and love written as only Lea Coll can do it. (I’m a beach gal but boy does she make Telluride sound exciting!) Looking forward to more of these Wilde brothers!

Scarlett has been running away her entire life. She's left her hometown to travel with various theater productions as an actress for years. As a creative person, she never felt that she fit into her hometown, this impression solidified by her family's apparent disappointment in her choices. When put into a precarious position in her latest job, she quits the production and returns home to regroup. Once there, she reunites with her family and friends. Eli Wilde, seeing Scarlett for the first time in quite a while is immediately attracted to the fiery actress. As adults, they develop an attraction that wasn't there when they were younger. Afraid to disrupt Eli's friendships with Scarlett's family, they begin to explore a romantic relationship in secret.

Eli is enamored with the beautiful and vivacious Scarlett, but is afraid to chase her away from Telluride again by asking for more than their clandestine affair. While home, he tries everything in his power to make Scarlett see that she does fit into the community and create circumstances that will make her want to stay.

Eli knows what he wants and respects Scarlett enough to let her go if that's what she really wants. It won't stop him from fighting for her, however. He is a bit intense, loving and supportive of her dreams. He's a really great lead character. Scarlett is a bit immature and stuck in the patterns she developed in her youth - whenever she feels as though people are pushing her toward a particular course of action, she pushes back harder and runs, often to her own detriment. Of the two, I found Eli to be a more sympathetic character, while Scarlett was overly stubborn and clinging to past behaviors. I was glad to see that she finally took the time to think through her responses to her friends, family and Eli and learn how to adult. I would have liked for Scarlett to be a bit more open to those who love her, rather than committed to her wanderlust.

The relationship between Eli and Scarlett is intense, with a strong physical connection. It is the way that they intellectually challenge each other that really solidifies their relationship.

Four stars for this small-town, brother's best friend romance.

This is an honest, voluntary review of an ARC of the story.

Wild Love by Lea Coll, book one in the Wilde Brothers series, is an emotional, gripping, heartwarming, sizzling brother’s best friend story, that is a great series starter. Elijah Wilde is the oldest of the Wilde brothers and runs their family resort in Telluride, Colorado. Scarlett is a free spirit who comes and goes as she likes never concerning herself with the feelings of those that she leaves behind. As a traveling actress she satisfies her craving for excitement and travel, seeing the country all while getting paid. The trips home have lessened over time as her parents and others from home pressure her to stay rather than to go and fulfill her desire to travel. Over time she has convinced herself that it didn’t matter that she was gone and her family and friends didn’t understand or miss her. Only this time, her visit home is different, as she doesn’t have a job to return to.

Elijah is afraid that his life is becoming stale after having taken over running the resort and absolutely loves it. He loves his life in Telluride but has begun to realize that life has become predictable and a bit stale. Scarlett is a breath of fresh air for him, reminding him of adventure and excitement and how it’s been missing from his life, now as an adult. The more time they spend together, Scarlett’s urge to leave lessens and her feelings for Eli grow. With sizzling chemistry, magnetic attraction, and an undeniable connection, they begin a fling; which they keep a secret, so as not having to explain anything to the overprotective Chance. Other than the secret relationship, they seem to bring out the best in one another and truly help the other become the best version of themselves.

This was a wonderful story with Scarlett discovering what she really wants out of her life and where she wants to be, Eli figuring things out, along with the introduction of many new characters to get to know. Scarlett’s friends were very supportive trying to get her to see how much they mean to her without holding her back. It was also fun reconnecting with old friends. This is a great story of friendship, family and love. I'm really looking forward to watching the Wilde brothers fall in love, one by one.

Wild love is the first book in the series. It is about coming home to a place you didn’t feel like you belonged to only find out it is where you should’ve been all along. This is Eli and Scarlett’s story.

Scarlett has struggled with being enough her entire life. She never felt like she could live up to the high expectations her parents set. She lived in the shadow of her perfect brother growing up. When the time came for her to live her own life, she left town and never turned back. Theatre life is hard because you never settle in to one place and that has been ok for her up until now. She is back home unexpectedly and finds herself torn between running again and choosing to stay…

Eli Wilde and his brothers have lived up to their last name. Now that they are older, the adventures are fewer, but they are still there. He has taken over the family resort and is expanding the services and amenities. So that means less time for personal things, including dating. He has yet to find the one that can fulfill both sides of him, until now…

Scarlett and Eli are not supposed to work. She is his best friend’s off limits sister, but he can’t help but be drawn to her. He can see that she is running but he doesn’t know from what. She can’t believe the different side of Eli she is seeing. She remembers him being reckless and always causing trouble, but this caring compassionate side is new and she loves it.

These two build a little slowly into their romance but it made sense. They aren’t supposed to fall for each other and she is not staying. Her time is limited and they must make the most of it. The storyline is good, the characters are all great and likable. There is romance and sexy time too. The ending ties it all up nicely and cleanly sets us up for the next story. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

No Place Like Home?
This is the first book in a new series about the Wilde brothers in Telluride, CO. Eli, the oldest, is first. Eli is Scarlett's older brother's best friend. He's been warned away from her since high school. Scarlett works in the theater business and travels a lot. She's ok with this since she doesn't like to be home for long. She thinks she's not made for putting roots down. Eli owns a hotel and offers her a room on the penthouse floor where he lives. She thinks this is better than staying at her parents' house. Her best friend, Marigold, is a librarian, and has an idea for a children's theater class taught by Scarlett. Scarlett is intrigued but tells her it can only be once since she can't commit to longer not knowing how long she's staying. The class is a hit and Marigold wants Scarlett to direct a play that she wrote for children. The closed theater in town is available. Scarlett, Marigold, Eli and Marigold's brothers all work to get it ready. Eli and Scarlett start spending time together and falling for each other - even though it's temporary - they decide to keep it secret, especially from her brother, Chance. Will it be a temporary relationship? Scarlett is beginning to think that she could stay and not run. But then, she gets an offer to act in a play in Tennessee. She would have to leave the next day after the play. Will she be able to leave Eli? Her best friend? Is home really the best place to be? I liked this story seeing the growth of Scarlett's perception of how people think about her. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series. I received an early copy to read and review. I'm leaving my honest review.

Great introduction to a new series.
Wilde by name and by nature are the brothers. Proud of their actions and earned their reputation in earlier years. Eli now runs the family hotel businesses. His life focused on responsibility, his friendships and his choices for adventure.
Scarlett returns home because her life as a jobbing actress has been interfered with. Her boss has made sexual approach and unwanted attention, which caused issues among the theatre cast and personnel. Her nature is to flit home, then leave. Nothing to keep her grounded and because of this, her reputation for being insular, drifting, free spirited has isolated her from family and friends.
Her relationship with Eli starts as a fling, not serious to warrant more and he shares part of her intentions, until things get more intense. It is surprising how their outlooks, thoughts and feelings begin to change..
This was a woman I could come home to at the end of the night and be myself with..says the bachelor who had no thoughts on settling.
I don't have clarity on my future, but I'm sure enjoying the present...says the woman who is intending to leave, to carry on with her self contained lifestyle.
It is interesting to read about how they develop as individuals. Scarlett has a flight or fight nature, trusts no-one, can be self absorbed and self interested in her determination, manipulative but also sees manipulation. Eli is desperate to please, keen for more and thoughtful in gesture, but despite his good intentions, does not always prove to be as successful as he plans.
A mishmash of highs, lows, ups and downs, clarity can be found if you look hard enough at what you actually want.

Being a traveling actor you never stay in one place for long. Even when Scarlett manages to go back home she never stays long. Always itching to get back on the road. But this time things are different. She doesn’t feel the need to run as much as she used to. Could it be because of Eli. Everyone knows Scarlett doesn’t stay long but Eli thinks if he can show her how much people care about her, himself included, she can change her mind and make Telluride her permanent home.
Sometimes it takes that one person to make you see things differently. Eli didn’t see himself settling down. His resort was everything to him. He had no time for a relationship. Until Scarlett. She is his best friend’s sister and he knows getting involved with her is wrong, but you can’t fight what your heart wants.
Eli knew Scarlett wasn’t supposed to stay long but he couldn’t fight his feelings for her. Scarlett also started feeling things for Eli she never saw herself feeling.
Eli didn’t treat her like her family did. She was starting to question what she wanted in life. Was the constant traveling what she wanted anymore. Can she stay home and be happy. Can she be happy with Eli.
Their relationship was one of patience and understanding. Not trying to change someone but to make them see what they mean to others. To show them they are loved. Eli showed Scarlett these things and so much more. Sometimes life changes what makes us happy. Even if we never see it coming.

Elijah Wilde is surprised to see that actress Scarlett St. Claire has returned home. Will she be staying this time or be off again as soon as the next production is available. He is attracted to her and has been for years, but the bro code, i.e. her brother is his best friend and the sheriff, keeps him from acting on those feelings. Scarlett had not planned on this trip home, but the unwanted attentions from the director on her recent production gave her no choice but to return home and rethink her future. She worries whether she will be able to get another job as he most assuredly will trash her reputation. The attraction between her and Eli has been on simmer and staying in his hotel will make it even harder to control their feelings. While she is home this time, Eli asks her to go with him on several adventures, hoping that she might enjoy what the area has to offer, and stay. Working with her high school friend and librarian, Marigold, to promote her children’s play makes Scarlett realize that this is another way for her to enjoy the theater. As the attraction between them flares out of control, will she be able to leave when an opportunity arises or will she finally decide that being at home, with Eli, is all she needs? This was such a fun, fast-paced read. One of those stories you pick up for a few minutes and suddenly realize you’ve devoured in a single sitting. It leans into the classic brother’s best friend trope, and honestly, it delivers exactly what fans of that trope crave. The chemistry between Scarlett and Eli is magnetic from the start, the kind of slow-burn pull that keeps you grinning. Scarlett is easy to root for, but it’s Eli who really rounds out the dynamic with his steady charm and quiet devotion. Their tension feels natural and earned, not forced, which makes every moment of progress in their relationship so satisfying. And then there’s Marigold, Scarlett’s best friend who absolutely steals the show more than once. She’s vibrant, genius, and grounding in all the right ways…there’s a good chance she’ll end up being your favorite character by the end. I can’t wait to read more in the series, especially Marigold and Chance’s story!! Of course, no contemporary romance is complete without a dramatic turn, and this one offers a grand gesture and a third-act breakup (well… kind of), both of which fit the story without making it feel overwrought. It wraps up sweetly, leaving you with that warm, cozy feeling that lingers long after you’ve finished the last page.

Wilde by name and wild by nature? This is the start of a new series based in Telluride. Elijah Wilde is the oldest of the Wilde brothers and runs their family resort in Colorado. Scarlett St. Claire is a free spirit. An actor with traveling productions, she doesn't like to stay too long when she comes home to Telluride, but this time is different as she has nothing to go back to. When Scarlett and Elijah meet again after several years, their is definitely a spark between them, which could be problematic as Scarlett is the younger sister of Eli's best friend, Chance. Elijah is afraid that his life is becoming stale, so he ropes Scarlett into going on adventures with him. As they spend more time together, Scarlett desire to leave her home town lessens and her feelings for Eli grow.

This book is heartfelt and emotional, with humor and heat thrown into the mix. The banter between Elijah and Scarlett is witty, the story is entertaining, definitely keeps you engaged and all this leads toward to a wonderful HEA. I'm really looking forward to watching the Wilde brothers fall in love, one by one.

Oh, this hurts the heart. Scarlett seems to be a flower in the wind, never staying anywhere for long. But maybe she’s just been waiting for someone to actually care enough to give her a soft place to land. And Eli? Well, he doesn’t seem like the ideal place to land at first. He’s rude, judgmental, and…realizes his mistake quickly. So quickly that he’s also fast to become Scarlett’s strongest defender. Against friends and family and small minds alike. But maybe his attempts to be her home are a little too much? Or maybe, just maybe, communication is key!

Believe me when I say that Eli learns to communicate when it seems all could be falling apart, though. Granted, the tough love is incredibly painful to endure. The casual dismissals HURT. And I’m not certain that I would’ve forgiven as easily, but Scarlett loves Eli. Eli loves her enough to let her fly and be her place to feel safe. And Marigold? I’m pretty sure she’s a diabolical genius. I can’t wait for her to send the man looking her way through the wringer. He sort of needs it.

When your Best Friend asks you to keep an eye on his little sister that you have known most of your life .. You do except when Elijah Wilde realizes that Scarlet St. Claire isn’t so little anymore .. Oh Boy is Eli in trouble !!

Scarlett is a traveling actress BUT is she ready to make Telluride her home again ?? Is it because of work, her family and bff or is it Eli that is making her change her mind ??

She has a beautiful place to stay right next to Eli, in an apartment in the penthouse where she can cook in a kitchen, swim in a pool and watch the stars in the rooftop deck !! Why wouldn’t you want to stay too !! And we know there is a BUT coming and you will be right …. Because Scarlett is a runner and she does it well except this time she might be changing her ways or will one little truth held back from her make the decision for her ??

Let’s just stay this 1st installment of the Wilde Brothers is just that .. a Wild Ride !! Love, Hate and Lust are ALL HERE !! Sooooo Goodddd !! Can’t wait for more !!

A new series, new loves and new storylines where you will be pulled into the lives of the Wilde brothers. Wild Love is a brother's best friend, a small-town romance that is emotionally gripping, heartwarming and a page-turner. If you know Ms. Coll and her storylines, you know there will be some steamy interactions with her characters.
We are told the story of Eli Wilde, the oldest Wilde brother and Scarlett, his best friend's little sister. Scarlett is back home due to an incident with her boss but is keeping it on the down low. Needing a place to say she is offered a place at the lodge Eli and his family run. Eli knows she is a person who will not stay in one place but what he does has me swooning. Will this move have her changing her mind about being a free spirit or will her feelings for Eli win in the end? She has taken over her heart and wants her to stay.
If this book is any indication of what the series is going to be like, then Ms. Coll has a hit on her hands.

Scarlett is like a butterfly as she travels the world pursuing her career as an actress and never setting down roots. On an unexpected break between assignments, she returns home for a brief period before she leaves again. The one aspect of her plan that she hadn’t expected was the way that Eli, her brother’s best friend, was making her feel.

Eli is happy with his life in Telluride as he enjoys managing the family resort and is surrounded by friends and family. He knows that he should keep his distance from Scarlett as not only is she his best friend’s sister, but their visions of the future are very different however his heart doesn’t seem to agree.

Despite their very different lifestyles Scarlett and Eli balance each other to perfection. He shows her the wonder of being surrounded by people who care about you, and she shows him how to have fun and I enjoyed seeing her find her way back to her family.

Lea Coll kicks off her brand-new series, The Wilde Brothers, with a dazzling five-star read in Wild Love. This captivating small-town romance is a heartwarming and sizzling brother’s best friend story that’s sure to win over readers.

From the moment Scarlett returns to her hometown after an unsettling experience with her theatre boss, her world collides with Eli Wilde, her brother’s best friend. Sparks ignite immediately, and the playful, charming banter between them feels both natural and irresistible. Eli, who’s used to moving from place to place, knows he should keep his heart guarded, but his attraction to Scarlett is undeniable. As much as he tries to keep his emotions at bay, their chemistry is simply too powerful to ignore.

When Scarlett is offered the chance to direct a children’s play in their hometown, her love for the stage and her growing feelings for Eli put her at a crossroads. Will she stay and put down roots with the man who has come to mean so much, or will the lure of her dreams take her away once again?

Lea Coll’s Wild Love is a heartfelt, passionate start to this promising series, blending small-town charm with intense romance and a dash of humor. It’s the perfect story for readers looking for a swoon-worthy connection and characters who feel real and relatable.

We've met Scarlett St. Claire and her brother, Chance, before but she was a lanky teenager then and he the best friend of the oldest Wilde brother, Elijah, Eli. Now, years later, Eli at his family's Telluride resort sees 'a red wraparound dress showcasing voluptuous breasts and curvy hips" with her arm tucked in her older sheriff brother Chance's. Whoa! Eli knows she is off limits but is intensely attracted as is secretly she. This is but the first page so one can anticipate a super hot sexy romance once they begin to overcome their resistance and agree to proceed with a secret fling. After all, the traveling actress is only in town for a week or two. As their affair heats up Eli has to try to conjure ways to keep her in town but she is eager to fly again. A well written and page turning hot sensuous romance. Received this arc and have voluntarily reviewed.

Scarlett and Eli have know each other forever - her brother Chance, the town sheriff now, is Eli’s best friend. Scarlett is an actress and a free spirit who feels misunderstood by her family as she moves around the country from job to job. When she comes back home in between acting jobs, she once again feels the pressure to stay. But this time, it has more allure to her the closer she gets to Eli. When she finds out a secret he has kept from her, will her instinct to run kick in or will she make a choice to stay and build a life in her home town? I really liked both characters - Eli in particular has a good heart and wants the best for Scarlett, no matter what.

I have read many other books by this author and loved them all! Looking forward to the next one in this series.

I read an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Eli and Scarlett have a love hate relationship at the beginning of this story. But when they're pushed together and start spending time together, both learn that there is more to them then they assumed at the beginning.

Attraction is not helping the matters, especially when they both know she's leaving soon. But being on the move constantly is not what it used to be and maybe the time has come to start putting roots down. Convincing her to stay might be the greatest fight Eli has ever fought and if there is one thing he knows is how to win.

This story was just as sweeet as it was sizzling. As an introduction to the new series this was a great way to start it for sure.

When they say the Wilde brothers are a wild bunch well they aren't really kidding. The book starts off pretty spicy right from the start. I was a little surprised, and not necessarily in a bad way either.
Elijah Wilde the eldest of the brothers, the most responsible, the most organized, the most put together, and of course the most protective. But does his best friend the Sheriff really need his protection from his own little sister, Eli seems to think so.
Scarlett doesn't belong in her home-town, she's always felt the need to move on from it. It's what hurts the people who care. But that's not how Scarlett sees things. She only sees herself as a burden, so Eli uses the time to try and show her everything her home town has to offer.

If you love enemies to lover romance or small town family stories look no further than this slow burn. Wild Love is Eli Wilde and Scarlett’s story and we are taken back to Telluride, Colorado for book one in The Wilde Brothers Series. All I’m going to say is if this book is anything to go by Lea Coll will certainly have another hit series on her hands.
Scarlett is the younger sister of Eli’s best friend so they have known each other for a while but she is a free spirit who loves to travel and Telluride is no longer her home. Never thinking about the feelings of the people she left behind has meant her trips home are few and far between until now.
Eli loves his life, he is the oldest Wilde brother and he has taken over running the town resort. But something is missing and it’s only when he has a secret fling with Scarlett that he realises she is the missing link.
So can he convince her to stay in the small town she has spent years running from. One click this gem to find out.
Wow what can great start to the new series!!!!!
Wild Love ticked all my boxes, it’s well written, it’s captivating and it has characters that I fell hard and fast for. The road was always going to be bumpy but I was so happy to tag along for the ride and I’m excited for to come from the rest of the Wilde brothers.

I’ve absolutely adored reading Eli and Scarlett’s story and being back in Telluride. This is a wonderful start to the Wilde Brothers series but like all Lea’s books, this can easily be read as a standalone. I absolutely love a small town romance and Lea’s books always hit the mark spot on for me.

I loved the chemistry between Eli and Scarlett, it was really intense but in a good way. Even thought they are complete opposites in every way they actually really balance each out. I also loved the banter between them.

I loved Eli, he’s really intense and fiercely protective of those he cares about . I thought he was incredibly swoonworthy, especially when he bought the local theatre for Scarlett without her knowing. It was a huge gesture on his part even with knowing how flighty she can be.

It took me a little while to warm up to Scarlett, and it wasn’t because I didn’t like her, I honestly did, I think it was more because instead of facing a problem head on she tends to run away from it and I found it really frustrating. But that being said the more that I read from her POV, the more I understood where she was coming from, her reasoning for being how she was and the more I actually empathised with her.

Overall a wonderful heartwarming read that I highly recommend. I cannot wait to see where Lea takes us next with this series.

We are back in Telluride! Scarlett has come back home to regroup after an incident caused her to leave her production before it was over. She is struggling under the weight of perceived expectations of others. She has never wanted to settle down and no one will see her as successful. Eli is in charge of the family resort and Scarlett's brother's best friend. He is just as guilty as everyone else in their opinion of her. He offers her a suite at the resort to figure out what she wants. They start to spend time together and he starts to see her as Scarlett and not just a disappointment. I really enjoyed this book and it was a great beginning to a new series! Can't wait for more!

Wild Love is the first book in the Wilde Brothers series. This is a spin off from the Mountain Haven series. The store centers around Eli, the oldest Wilde brother who runs the ski resort, and Scarlet, an actress who has returned home to figure things out. She also happens to be the sister of Eli’s best friend. I loved this spicy brother’s best friend forbidden small town romance. It was emotional and I loved the connection, self discovery and growth between the main characters. I highly recommend this heartwarming spicy romance and I can't wait to read this exciting and swoon worthy Wilde Brothers series.
