The 3-R Method: A Guide for Ministry Longevity

Rate this book
Every leader experiences moments of being overwhelmed. The constant pressure of being on-call 24/7 to the criticisms of those on the sidelines can cause even the most stalwart of leaders to experience physical, emotional, or spiritual breakdown.

From the author of Better after Burnout comes a new strategy to navigate the demands of ministry. The 3-R Method is Retreat, Renew, and Reengage. Each of these three sections includes the author's personal experience of being overwhelmed by the burdens of leading. With questions throughout to provoke self-reflection, application, and opportunities to recharge and grow, every leader needs this book to stay healthy for longevity in ministry.

Jathan Maricelli does it again! His second book offers a practical and honest treatise on longevity in ministry. Written primarily for vocational pastors, this book has solid insight and wisdom that any type A person can benefit from.

His writing style is inviting and easy to read, you can hear the authors wry wit and voice coming through the pages. A Louisiana Mark Twain for ministry. Keep writing!
