This omnibus was a nice complication of a cute story told by two authors that sometimes create magic. I do remember reading this before, but it was long enough ago that I felt like I was mostly seeing it for the first time.
The MC is the son of a duke and an earl himself, going for his final summoner demonstration. He's selected a rabbit to be his familiar but upon casing the spell, finds a succubi that has bunny ears and a tail to go with her bat-like wings. Even more surprising, she can talk. He's eventually sent to train with someone who can hopefully get to the bottom of what he is, which is a Lust Reaper. But before he can find out what that really entails, he and his new mentor are attacked, and he is forced to flee.
He's accompanied on his trip by a woman he's known most of his life, and who has been his bully for just about all that time. She's a priestess of the church. And like most former bullies and victims that haven't fully aged out of that behavior, they fall into familiar patterns of sniping at one another. While the bunny-succubi is his first lover, and he's summoned a few others, she's acting like a teenaged boy wit a crush he doesn't know how to express, so he's nasty.
The plot thickens as things keep happening to the MC and also his priestess frenemy. And it was fun at times, especially as the bickering turned more playful. The succubi were ok. Some of the sex scenes are really well done, and others are kind of bland.
Being an omnibus, almost no errors were present in the book.

Ready for 4th book to tie up the story fully, and yes, the second time, I've enjoyed the story. I feel the need for the fourth book just saying.

This was a great set of books. I really like these authors. The story was about a summoner who had extraordinary powers. When he summoned someone it always a tye of succubus. Because of that the church and others want him dead. This is a must read book.
