Highly disappointed to be reading a design book and 3/4 of the way through realize I'm looking at AI images. I probably wouldn't have realized had the editing not been so sloppy as to miss a three legged chair and a three legged console table on one page. There is no disclaimer in the book to alert readers the book contains AI images, but it is hypocritical enough to say "No part of this book may be reproduced or transmitted in any form or by any means [...]"...that's rich. Just sad that AI seems inescapable, even in books now. I would at least like the courtesy to know if what I'm looking at is real or not.
Gracious Home is a beautiful reminder that home is more than décor—it’s about creating comfort, welcome, and belonging. Melissa Lester’s gentle words and stunning photography make this a book I’ll return to again and again for inspiration.
