Suzanne Giesemann is the author of eleven books, a metaphysical teacher, and an evidential medium. She captivates audiences as she brings hope, healing, and comfort through her work. When Suzanne first began researching and writing the Hay House published book, The Priest and the Medium, she never dreamed that she would one day connect with the unseen world herself. After years of meditation, however, she began to have her own intuitive experiences, which led her to several classes on mediumship and to an intensive course at the respected Arthur Findlay College of Psychic Sciences in Stansted, England. Her eye-opening experiences there allowed her to develop her contact with the unseen world to the point where she now gives private readings, connecting people with their loved ones who have passed.

Through my interest in metaphysical and New Age topics, I’ve become familiar with the work of Suzanne Giesemann. I’ve listened to a few of her podcasts, as well as watched some of her interviews with other mediums and content creators on YouTube. This was the first book by her that I read, and I had a hard time putting it down.

In this book, Giesemann shares her journey of serving as one of the highest-ranking US Navy officers to becoming a medium. I appreciated her clear and conversational writing style, which allowed me to vividly picture all the scenes she was describing. Giesemann detailed the steps she took in her mediumship education and experience, providing a bunch of stories from clients who sat with her to connect with their loved ones who had crossed over. She also included exercises at the end of each chapter to give us readers a chance to meditate, connect with loved ones on the other side, or test our own mediumship abilities. This was the first book I read by a medium where I felt like I, a more logical-minded and skeptical person, could also become a medium with enough practice and experience.

This is one of the best New Age titles I’ve read and would recommend it to others. It is an engaging and hopeful read, no matter your background.

Making the Afterlife Connection is well-known medium, Suzanne Giesemann's journey from uncertainty to knowing that death is not the end. She shares her background, how she went from Navy officer to medium, and a lot of evidential stories about her connections with those beyond the veil, including her own stepdaughter, Susan. In a conversational tone and easy-to-read language, she shares stories that will make even the most skeptical reader think twice. At the end of each chapter, there are exercises to try to connect more with the spirit world. This memoir is a must-read for those who have loved ones who died. It offers comfort and strong evidence that death is not the end, only a transition to the soul's next experience. The closing words, "you are so very loved," are a beautiful reminder of how we are all connected through love. Love never dies. On a personal note, I found this to be a very comforting book to read after my son died (age 20 in a motorcycle accident.) I am quite certain that he goes on. Thank you, Suzanne, for this beautiful book.

Amazing B.S.(Belief System)-Enhancing LIFE(Love In Full Expression) Lessons

I have been following Suzanne Giesemann since I first saw her interviews in YouTube Channels Next Level Soul and Inspire Nation. Got even more inspired and touched with her interview in Bialik Breakdown. Her Messages of Hope podcasts (from The Unity Church until it ended up on her own YouTube channel) were a weekly source of encouragement and inspiration. This and her other books and tools are BS(Belief System) transforming LIFE(Love in Full Expression) lessons.

Medium and former Navy Commander Suzanne Giesemann mixes spiritual concepts accessible with true stories and exercises at the end of each chapter. Suzanne takes the reader on their own spiritual journey by sharing her own sad loss with the death of her stepdaughter who was killed by lightning. Suzanne’s own search for meaning and the existence of an afterlife is compelling. She continually asks her stepdaughter Susan for signs that she is around. Suzanne helps readers see they are part of a larger connection than here in the physical world, that we go on after our time her on earth has concluded. A very interesting book, that may force the reader to investigate further.
