Suzanne Giesemann is the author of eleven books, a metaphysical teacher, and an evidential medium. She captivates audiences as she brings hope, healing, and comfort through her work. Suzanne’s gift of communication with those on the other side provides stunning evidence of life after death. Touted as “a breath of fresh air” with “a quality that is so different from others that it is difficult to describe,” she brings messages of hope and love that go straight to the heart.
Suzanne is a retired U.S. Navy Commander. She served as a commanding officer, as special assistant to the Chief of Naval Operations, and as Aide to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on 9/11. Today Suzanne addresses questions about the purpose of life, the nature of reality, and attuning to higher consciousness. Her work has been recognized as highly credible by afterlife researcher Dr. Gary Schwartz, Ph.D., and best-selling author Dr. Wayne Dyer. She serves on the executive council of Eternea, where she is the chairman of the Spirituality Leadership Council and is a member of the Advisory Council of the Academy for Spiritual and Consciousness Studies along with such notable leaders as Raymond Moody, M.D., Jean Houston, Ph.D., and Larry Dossey, M.D.
When Suzanne first began researching and writing the Hay House published book, The Priest and the Medium, she never dreamed that she would one day connect with the unseen world herself. After years of meditation, however, she began to have her own intuitive experiences, which led her to several classes on mediumship and to an intensive course at the respected Arthur Findlay College of Psychic Sciences in Stansted, England. Her eye-opening experiences there allowed her to develop her contact with the unseen world to the point where she now gives private readings, connecting people with their loved ones who have passed.
Her experiences with inspirational writing and inspired poetry are published daily on her blog, www.SanayaSays.com. The story of Suzanne’s transition from Navy Commander to her current work as an intuitive counselor is chronicled in her memoir, Messages of Hope, which is featured in a documentary by the same name. Suzanne Giesemann’s books always deeply touch my heart, and „Making the Afterlife Connection“ is no exception. Suzanne’s new book is written with clarity, warmth, and wisdom, it offers gentle guidance for connecting with loved ones beyond the veil. I purchased both the Kindle and print versions—one to keep close, and one to share with my daughter. Suzanne's words opened meaningful conversations about those we miss: family, friends, even patients I’ve cared for in the hospital. Seriously - some books are able to save lives and ignite a spark of light in darkness… mine shines now brightly! Believe me, this book has been a true source of healing for me after the loss of my grandparents, my husband, friends, and more. Suzanne writes not just from knowledge, but from lived experience—sharing countless of her own true stories and insights from her spiritual journey. I trust and believe … Reading Suzanne Giesemann’s book feels like sitting with her - as a trusted friend. It reminded me that the bonds of love don’t end with death—they deepen, if we let them. I often return to certain chapters or lines that continue to speak to my soul. The Afterlife Connection helps move us from sorrow to peace, from questioning to knowing, and from longing to joyful connection. I am deeply grateful for this book—and I hope it brings comfort and light to your journey, too. The more people learn about the importance and opportunities to connect with loved ones across the veil, the more people will know about they are just right here around us, supporting and loving us.
Making the Afterlife Connection is well-known medium, Suzanne Giesemann's journey from uncertainty to knowing that death is not the end. She shares her background, how she went from Navy officer to medium, and a lot of evidential stories about her connections with those beyond the veil, including her own stepdaughter, Susan. In a conversational tone and easy-to-read language, she shares stories that will make even the most skeptical reader think twice. At the end of each chapter, there are exercises to try to connect more with the spirit world. This memoir is a must-read for those who have loved ones who died. It offers comfort and strong evidence that death is not the end, only a transition to the soul's next experience. The closing words, "you are so very loved," are a beautiful reminder of how we are all connected through love. Love never dies. On a personal note, I found this to be a very comforting book to read after my son died (age 20 in a motorcycle accident.) I am quite certain that he goes on. Thank you, Suzanne, for this beautiful book.
Medium and former Navy Commander Suzanne Giesemann mixes spiritual concepts accessible with true stories and exercises at the end of each chapter. Suzanne takes the reader on their own spiritual journey by sharing her own sad loss with the death of her stepdaughter who was killed by lightning. Suzanne’s own search for meaning and the existence of an afterlife is compelling. She continually asks her stepdaughter Susan for signs that she is around. Suzanne helps readers see they are part of a larger connection than here in the physical world, that we go on after our time her on earth has concluded. A very interesting book, that may force the reader to investigate further.
Amazing B.S.(Belief System)-Enhancing LIFE(Love In Full Expression) Lessons
I have been following Suzanne Giesemann since I first saw her interviews in YouTube Channels Next Level Soul and Inspire Nation. Got even more inspired and touched with her interview in Bialik Breakdown. Her Messages of Hope podcasts (from The Unity Church until it ended up on her own YouTube channel) were a weekly source of encouragement and inspiration. This and her other books and tools are BS(Belief System) transforming LIFE(Love in Full Expression) lessons.
Making the connection has been steadily growing since discovering Suzanne and the Awakened Way. This new book is beautifully written causing me to laugh and cry. Her teaching methods resonate with me. I finished the book in 24 hours, thanks Suzanne!
I enjoyed reading Suzanne’s memoir, Messages of Hope, and very much enjoyed reading this updated version. I really appreciate the “Your Turn” section at the end of each chapter. These lessons can be applied to many areas of your life.
