This was a tough, tough read. I struggled between my desire to tough it out and read every word, and my need to, as I told myself frequently, "make it stop". As much as I admire Ditko's art, his writing left a LOT to be desired, and the stories here that he didn't write weren't written by anyone much more talented, for the most part.

To me, a collection like this settles once and for all who wrote The Amazing Spider-Man. Ditko, on his best day, could not hold a candle to Stan Lee on his worst.

Glad that I read this, as a completest. As someone who is currently unemployed, I kick myself for spending so much money that I should have saved for a rainy day on such complete garbage.
