Trying to change her outlook, meteorologist, Charlotte Bernard, came to California for a change of seasons. When she took the job as Weather Forecaster for KCLA she didn't realize their ratings were falling like raindrops and weather doesn't truly exist in the Sunshine State. Cameraman, Jake Wells, is on a mission to save the station where he used to run around as kid on the studio lot, and the new Ice Princess of a weatherwoman is providing his perfect muse both in front of the camera and behind it. He only needs to figure out how to melt her heart and have her forget their Spring-Summer difference in their ages. Determined not to repeat the mistakes made in the springtime of her life, Charlotte refuses to succumb to the charms of the scorching hot, younger cameraman. Though she plays along with his gimmicks to get ratings, she refuses to allow him to make a disaster zone out of her life. Together they figure out that weather and love are anything but predictable. Predictions is book one of the Airwaves Series following the News Crew at KCLA-TV. Each book is stand alone with its own unique couple.

Fun, quirky and quick read that is a testament to Kim Carmichael's talents! It doesn't matter how many pages the story is, from beginning to end, you will laugh, cry and fall in love with each character!

In her newest Airwaves series, Kim is bringing us a variety of characters and each of their stories. With "Predictions," we meet Charlotte, a weather expert who's looking for a change of pace when she begins working at KCLA. Like the weather, her job becomes very unpredictable with the stunts they have her do as part of the broadcast.

The leader of this crazy show is Jake Wells. Cameraman and gorgeous hunk, his ability to get under Charlotte's skin is pretty awesome. He makes no secret to his interest in Charlotte but her past and the fact that she is significantly older than him is something she can't let go of.

A crazy ride ensues with the antics of the station, the zeal of Jake and the unease of Charlotte. You'll laugh at these crazy two as Charlotte tries to figure out can she live with their differences and take a chance on love or is Jake doing this all as a ploy to get good ratings.

I predict that you will enjoy Kim Carmichael as much as me and you should definitely one click this awesome goodness!

This was a light, fun read. As with all of Kim Carmichael’s books, the characters are easy to relate to and have strong, unique voices.

I liked the age difference between Jake and Charlotte, it fitted nicely into the work-romance scenario and gave the story a little more depth. Their first love scene together was well-written and I liked how it tied into the weather/season theme in the book.

Predictions has quite a few comedic moments in it – I loved Charlotte getting attacked by a giant tumbleweed, lol! I’m not a fan of clumsy heroines who always need rescuing, but I didn’t feel that this story went too far into cheesyland. It was done just right to be entertaining.

The premise for the Airwaves series is a good one and should allow for some interesting pairings among the news crew members.

I’d recommend this book and series to readers who love ‘true’ romances and want a story with highs and lows, conflict and comedy, and a realistic happy ending.

This is the first time I’ve read any of this author’s book and I quite enjoyed it. The excitement of the story line drew me in. I read this book in less than a day. It starts out with Charlotte working as a weather girl for a news station. She even helped get the rating up. It seems like she was getting caught up in weather situations. And who is there to save her? Jake the sexy younger cameraman. I thought it was funny when she called herself a cougar. I quite enjoyed the characters of this book as well, very believable. I was cheering them on since the first meeting.

You won’t be disappointed with this book. I will be reading more from this author. She really knows how to draw in her audience with humor and a little bit of sexy. Thank you for writing a great book. I look forward to book 2.

As this story begins we are introduced to Charlotte a meteorologist who woks for a news station as the weather girl and Jake the cameraman who steals her heart. The only problem is,Charlotte is older than Jake and to her that is a major roadblock. While reading this I couldn't understand what the big deal was but Kim Carmichael effortlessly lets us feel Charlotte's insecurities and thereby understand exactly where she was coming from.We get to experience the highs and lows of this beautiful couple and I found myself cheering them on,willing their union to be sealed for eternity by their love.Kim Carmichael has a literary talent that soothes the soul. When reading her books I find myself being swept away on a cloud of bliss.I loved this book and look forward to the next one in the series.

Such a wonderful story! The depth of the characters was very well done. A true depiction of real life obstacles needed to overcome in any relationship with an older woman. Jake and Charlotte are wonderful characters. Through her writing, Kim Carmichael gave us real emotions, humor, and showed true fears and internal turmoil. You really get the way she guards her heart. For Jake, you see how his feelings are true feelings...no matter what age difference. There are steamy scenes that work very well with this story. I really enjoyed reading this book! I look forward to the next book in this series!!

Jake and Charlotte are the sweetest couple ever. Talk about weathering any storm or situation. I fell in love with these 2 from the very beginning. Charlotte is a weather lady wants to take the weather serious but in California on the green screen is not where you can be. Jake is a hot sexy laid backed camera man wanting the best for his fathers station and can't help but falling for the smart mouthed uptight weather lady. This is a fun romantic and sexy read. It keeps you intrigued to the very end!
