They’re stories about baseball, but stories with a point.

‘War ages men quickly’
Many of the book’s situations led me to begin asking myself some very deep questions. Since these can be very personal topics, I promise I won’t attempt to answer them:
Is it *really* noble to place others before yourself?
Are we personally at fault for others’ deaths due to enemy fire?
How much of our souls are willing to sell for a piece of “the good life”?
Where do our loyalties lie – with our nation, our heritage, or with current yet foreign ethical dilemmas?
Some sage advice from the author:
Society’s ills need more attention, not less. Bullies are bullies, regardless of their politics.
Fave line:
‘Where we’re going is no poker game. You can’t bluff a bullet, buddy.’
The tale of American heroes and heroines fighting evil abroad will continue in the upcoming ‘A Night With No Dawn’.
