Great Read
I didn't like Isiah from the moment he opened his mouth at the Christmas Eve dinner that Noemi sister Geneva and her brother in-law Kejuan threw at their house. Noemi checked the hell out of him though. Isiah was simple minded, judgemental, and ignorant. I don't see what Roxi saw in him. I was furthermore disgusted when Roxi found herself at the doctor office once again because Isiah had given her another STD. Isiah really lost his damn mind when he moved Antoinette into their house. Roxi should've been going upside both of their head. Not only was Isiah constantly cheating. He was constantly cheating with a woman old enough to be his mother who repeatedly kept giving him STD'S that he was passing on to Roxi. Everything Dr Kasim was telling Roxi was the truth. If she didn't leave Isiah. He was going to give her something she couldn't get rid of. Kasim attraction towards Roxi was very clear. Kasim knew Roxi was a good woman. She was just caught up with a ain't s**t n***a. I thought when Geneva and Kejuan hooked Noemi up with Kejuan frat brother Carnell. That Noemi finally found a decent dude but Carnell turned out to be weird as hell. Honestly I think his ass had some type of mental illness because who pretend to have a sister and fake like she was real. Noemi ghosted Carnell without a second thought. Noemi claimed Zacai wasn't her type but he quickly became her type and had her smitten. Zacai knew he was going to have Noemi the way he wanted. Although he was nervous about getting into another relationship after catching his ex Kira screwing his uncle. No matter how no nonsense Zacai is when it comes to his business. He was a sweetheart underneath and definitely knew how to treat a woman. Zacai showed Noemi how to be treated properly. He poured into when she didn't believe in herself to start her own business. I love the way Kejuan loved on Geneva. With the way Geneva and Noemi seeing nothing but their father cheating and dogging their mother out in their marriage. Neither women had knew what a healthy relationship was but Kejuan didn't play about Geneva. They had the idea marriage. Unfortunately their happiness was shattered when Geneva had a miscarriage. Daryl should be ashamed of himself. First off he's too damn old to be still cheating on Kanita but to do it again with a person she hated and despises was another slap in the face. Kanita left his ass and haven't looked back. Even Geneva and Noemi knew their mother was tired of their father and wasn't coming back. Daryl seems to be the only one in denial. The way this ended was sad as hell. Both Roxi and Geneva life was left in shambles.

The fact that i read this book in a few hours should tell you all you need to know! One thing for sure and two things for certain learn to leave a relationship when it is no longer serving you…. Once a person shows who they are BELIEVE them. Between Isaiah and Daryl if ain’t ish were people it would be them. Glad that Roxy and Katrina both realized they both deserve so much more.
Now Kira you need your behind DRRRRAGGGEEEEEDDDDD point blank period. That’s all I have right now say about that 😭.

No sympathy
Child I would be completely okay if both sisters be killed off and bring a different set of strong women. I don’t like Roxy because she makes no sense for staying with a cheater who gives her STD’s like they going out of style and suggest moving his mistress in their home. He moves her in and instead of her saying then she’s leave. She wants to power play and stay. However I am ready for Isiah to face his karma. Geneva weak af if she did what I think she did. Selfish as hell. And I hope Kejuan is able to move on to someone much stronger. She went out too easy as if she’s not young and there aren’t other chances. The strong relationship in the book was the situationship. I wish the book had been about the only ppl that was mentioned in the synopsis. Would’ve made a better book in my opinion because I was expecting two ppl who would be trying to work through their issues and be together but those 2 ppl fell in line rather quickly. Synopsis is VERY misleading.

Ok read
I know this book didn't end like that. I was so into the story and to be continued. It caught my attention from the beginning to the end. I'm ready for the continuation. It was a good read none the less. It's okay to move on and start over, as change is a natural part of life. Kanita deserved someone who gonna love her the right way, Daryl didn't deserve a good woman as herself. Noemi finally gave Zacai a chance. They both have dealt with betrayal and broken hearts with whom they left them with trauma. Kira is a looney tune. She should've appreciated that good man when she had him. I'm all for Roxi and Dr. Evans to get together bcuz her no good boyfriend didn't deserve her. Carnell wasn't working with a full deck of cards. Antoinette gonna get what's coming to her also. I can't until part 2!

Omg family drama. But no I wouldn’t be with no man that slept and still sleeping with my sister they all some weird individuals men goin do wateva u allow them to do but them sisters aht aht. I love Mimi attitude ion even gone lie. They need to get it together too. I love the fact that gg dj and Mimi is really close and don’t let them moms and daddy be the cause they relationship is strange. Roxi talking about she wants Isiah to get his act together and he’s not cause she already let him do too much for him to respect her or her wishes. Ion feel Carnell and mi is a perfect fit but we goin see. Baby something not right about Cornell. I had hope for cai but aht aht I don’t do them types of men. Edge Of My Seat
Shari B did her big one with this one. This was an amazing story. I was locked in from page one. Some of the characters in this book will make you want to molly whop them, number one being Antoinette with her old nasty azz. I can't wait till Isiah realize he left Roxie for some nasty trash. I hope Roxie pull through tho. My heart breaking for GG and Kejuan. They're already dealing with a loss now GG done got hurt also. I love Noemi. I think she may have finally found her one with Cai because Carnell sure wasn't it. I just hope that everyone that deserves to be happy get to while Karma handles the rest.💚💚

My heart
My heart was racing go so bad these last few chapters! But what took the cake was Toni she really took the cake I can’t wait for Isiah to feel as stupid as he sounded moving that old lady into his house. He most definitely was selling audacity! I’m hoping both girls make it through they didn’t deserve to go out like that and they have so much more to live for! I’m so happy to see them get men who support them wholeheartedly and with the way things are going they will all need it! I’m ready for part 2 now! I can’t to see what happens because I was risking it all reading when my phone should be away from me lol!

Family drama at its finest, book was a page turner from start to finish. Starting with the mom pulling a gun on her sister for still sleeping with her husband and burning her. Roxi was constantly getting cheated on by Isaiah and he steadily bringing home stds from Toni. And baby if Isiah and Toni didn’t have anything they both had audacity. Isiah expected Roxy to allow burning Toni to move in with them. Noemi and Zacai both been betrayed and had past relationship trauma, so glad she finally open to being with Cai. Can’t wait to see what happens when Isiah finds out why Toni shot Roxy. Ready for book two

Shari B, oh my God, this cliffhanger, right here, baby is one for the road. To see sisters deal with family business and build a stronger relationship among the crew. Zacia has always been an upfront guy. Noemi may have found her peace. It's so good to see Mama think of herself.
To know the friends and family members will have to be strong between this terrible time. One thing for certain and two for sure karma will come to those that really deserve it. Great job!🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Poor Mimi, it seems like she just cant catch a break. I hope Cai really changed his mind and will be there because she needs him now more than ever. I feel for all the "sisters" because they have been through quite a bit and I would love to see them come out on top. I can not wait until they find out who the mistress is. Roxie mom and Kanita need to team up & do her dirty!! And lets not forget Isiah, definitely one of my least favorite. I will be looking out for part two because this storyline has me locked in!

Mimi and GG daddy know he wrong and nasty as hell for how he did they momma. Isiah is the most triflin f$ck boy. Nettey gone get hers with her disgusting self. Zacai and Mimi are so cute together and I hope him having her back will get her through this extremely tough situation. I'm glad that her mama finally let they daddy go so he can see where he went wrong with everything. I'm also glad Roxi is healing, and she she has a good man by her side. I hope she pulls through so she can have her happy ending. I also hope Geneva pulls through too because this will really hurt her siblings. But I'm patient waiting for part 2, but I recommend you read this book.

Authors need to be careful how they describe their characters. It totally affects the story. You described Cai as fat with acne. Everything after that was comical to me. Him threatening Carnell was funny and I know it was not meant to be. Even reading about the 3 guys that robbed him was far fetched based on your character description. The way you described him does not give street legend or BOSS energy. I don’t like abandoning books. That is the only reason I forced myself to finish.

Omg I hope Geneva an Roxi turns out ok. I really hope Isiah get whats coming to him he is pathetic .. i bet they Aunt Nette is the person when it comes out how dare she shot someone when she in the wrong. Kasim seems like a great dude an him being a dr is even better. Cai seems like a great dude too. I hope everyone end up in a loving relationship. This was good and deserving of a 5 star rating. Every character is letting their true selves shine through whether good or bad. The book flows naturally and everyone is dealing with their own set of problems. Watching the love between Kejuan and Geneva in a loving relationship and Roxi struggle to stay in what is not a great relationship makes the story so much more interesting. It's also great seeing Noemi blossom while dating her new love interest.

I’m waiting to see what happens in the next book.
MiMi is falling apart by the seams. Thank goodness she has Cai in her corner. He may not have been her type in the beginning, but I bet he is now.
Shake back Roxi because Kasim is waiting to treat you like you deserve to be treated.

I wasn’t prepared for the to be continued because why . Omg this book has some of every emotion in it. There’s love some backstabbing a splash of cheating and grief. This book was definitely one for the books. My poor Noemi had the worst of luck when it comes to situations. The only good thing that seem to happen to her is Zacai. They need they own love storyline. Heck all the women in this book needs some good loving and a hug lol.. hopefully part 2 is coming soon.

It was the calm before the storm. And baby MiMi got the weight of the world on her shoulders. Zacai is a gentle giant and Noemi is definitely his soft spot. Isiah ain’t worth a damn. Roxi being with Isiah and still having her belongings at his house is why this didn't get 5 stars, she was way too foolish over someone that didn't prioritize her health. So MiMi and Cai are too cute I hope these accidents don't have Mimi pushing Cai away. I need part two asap!

GOOD BOOK!!!
I really enjoyed reading this book. Shari B. never disappoints. I love Cai and hope him and Noemi be together. I was not expecting that ending. This is most definitely a must read. I can’t wait to read part 2. I would highly recommend this book. Isiah needs to be taken out ASAP.

Goodness Shari B. You really fun, anger, serious and straight good. She did a very good job blending 3 different women on different but difficult journeys. Even the mom had her journey with their father. Very good read about loves journey showing the good, difficult and bad.
