This complete collection includes all FOUR BOOKS in the Supernatural Community series by USA TODAY bestselling author Krista Magic in Light, Power in Darkness, Dragons in Fire, and Angel in Embers.
Also, exclusive to this complete collection are never before read scenes in an EXTRA CHAPTER.
People on the brink of death come to me for life. I touch them, and my magic burns away their sickness. My gift is exhausting and painful, even dangerous, which means I never intentionally touch anyone, and no one touches me.
So dating? Definitely not happening.
All of that changes when a cyber stalker threatens to burn me at the stake. I reluctantly hire a bodyguard, a six-foot-three mountain of temptation named Logan Smith, literally at my fingertips at all times.
Every fiber of my body vibrates for him, but when I accidentally touch him, my gift doesn’t activate. Nothing happens except a zing of desire.
This is bad.
My mother told me about potential mates, but I’m Logan’s employer. And come on, just look at him. Those broad shoulders and that firm backside...he’s got to have a girlfriend back home.
But when the stalker crosses a line, Logan reveals a side of himself he kept hidden.
He’s not who he claimed to be.
And his secret not only shatters my entire world but threatens everything I once believed.
~ SUPERNATURAL COMMUNITY is a world of werewolves, witches, vampires, fae, sorcerers, dragons, and more. Binge all four books in this enthralling paranormal romance series. Start reading today! ~
Krista Street loves writing about coming of age characters who fight to find their place in this world while also finding their one true mate.
Krista Street is a Minnesota native but has lived throughout the U.S. and in another country or two. She loves to travel, read, and spend time in the great outdoors. When not writing, Krista is either chasing her children, spending time with her husband and friends, sipping a cup of tea, or enjoying the hidden gems of beauty that Minnesota has to offer.
DNF. I got 10% into the boxed set free sample, which would be 40% of the first book. Not much happened. They are driving around in a tour bus, and she’s getting threatening emails. She has an unhealthy obsession with her breasts, her inability to keep her nips from pointing at the world through her tee. Good grief. And she keeps dwelling on her bodyguard’s supposed girlfriend. Oof. I don’t care for characters who jump to conclusions like that and then harp on them as one of the main forms of tension. Sigh. And I though this would be a riveting series. It’s a no for me.
It is engrossing, but the series lost me in the fourth book - without posting any spoilers, there is a consent issue (though it is unconventional) and I just wasn’t thrilled with the how the book progressed from there.
Poor story writing. This collection was not good. Four and five star reviews are a joke. This review is for the first book. Description of Logan’s age paired with his credentials doesn’t add up. He’s 25 and said to have over six years experience in security AND came from a military background? He needs to be older than 25 years of age for this to make sense. Why is the essentially purpose of the plot spoiled within the first few pages?! Daria is sensitive to touch, that should be known and NO handshake requiring touch should be happening. The description of the story says Daria ACCIDENTALLY touches him. A handshake is NOT accidental. I’m seriously reconsidering reading this book and I’m only on page four! The later written bus lurching and throwing her off balance scenario would have been much better as their first contact since it’s supposed to have been accidental. Why is what Daria is doing being spoken of as performances and shows? That makes her sound like a fraud. She’s a healer, healing people. She’s not doing shows, like it’s a side show circus act. Healings is a better descriptor, she’s traveling to conduct healings. What is this ridiculous obsession the female character has with her breasts? They are mentioned every possible opportunity. Get real. Why? It makes zero sense. And the ridiculous assumption that Logan has a girlfriend based on a glanced at text. Is she not an adult? Why would it not be part of normal conversation to say do you have a significant other back home? would have been as right after she asked about where his parents were, then if he had siblings. It was utterly stupid for that to be an angst. She’s a supernatural and asks what is a psychic when Logan mentioned it. Seriously? There is just no way, as imbedded as the notion of psychics are in every society, are you kidding me with this foolishness? It’s ridiculous for Daria to have no notion of there being other supernatural beings. Period. And more Logan has this assumed girlfriend. At this point, I haven’t even made it to page 70. And to make it worse, a couple pages later, Cecile comes in and talking to Daria says I know he has a girlfriend, … NO SHE DOES NOT!! AND WHY WOULD SHE NOT ASK, SINCE DARIA’S TOO SILLY TOO?! And as long as Daria has been doing this, why do they not have rules set up and in place that she does a healing, the healed or whoever’s with them does not touch her? It’s silly that anyone would be able to do so, they should know not to. You may express your thank you verbally, and then get out. That should be an established pattern. It also should have been told to Logan and the others how concentration is needed so do not distract and not keep talking. It was ridiculous. “Your clients are waiting. Do you feel ready to perform?” SHE’S A HEALER” Cecile said CLIENTS are waiting. What’s with the poorly used “perform”? Do you feel ready for your next session, or ready to continue sessions. She is TREATING people, WHY is the word perform bro g used!! I know I said it before, but it needed repeating. As well as the ridiculous he has a girlfriend mantra for a girlfriend she jumped to conclusion about and has no knowledge of being so. She’s asked if she is sure he has a girlfriend and she replies yes and her name is Crystal, all over seeing a piece of text she HAS NO CONTEXT FOR!! That was the most tired continued plot line! It was even brought up and wasn’t even addressed by Logan other than a lame “my girlfriend?” And then asks Daria “what exactly did you hear?” To which Daria says she heard enough. Really? Then nothing despite time going by? Utter ridiculousness. And the moment it was written Daria was that level of stupidity that she’s sneaking out to meet a man she’s only briefly met once despite death threats, I was done. All because she wanted to have a “truly private” conversation with her long lost dad despite she had such private conversation already at the diner, Logan was OUTSIDE! i was ready to not continue at chapter 15. Stayed only because I wanted to see if things turned around. Sadly no. She’s sneaking out beginning of next chapter how? There’s now 4 bodyguards and they’re ALL sleeping at the same time, instead of at least one being awake to guard? Seriously? kidding right? Nope. And bus doors that open with NO noise? Uh huh. Then she agrees to go to the man’s house when he does not show up at the coffee shop that she sneak out to meet him at. Now, I want her stalker to get to her and to do her what happened to the bird. Absolutely deserved. Then after she walked right into the trap set for her, I was done. She did not deserve to get rescued, and I did not want to read about her getting rescued. Book done series done. Don’t have time to waste on more ridiculousness. So tired of idiot women being written. I will not be reading anything else from this author. Reading descriptions of the remaining three book, definitely not worth considering.
I had a like-dislike relationship with this series and its two main characters. It was original and, in the later books especially, there were twists I didn’t see coming.
Another blonde, blue-ahem-turquoise-eyed heroine (eye roll) with supercharged blonde, turquoise eye genes that override any other hair-eye-skin combination out there (ugh). I get the need for that twist to explain the powers through the generations, but blonde and blue eyed is so overdone, even for white heroines, also overdone.
Anyway, coloring aside, Daria has unique powers, some amazing and loyal found family and an intriguing back story. She has an insta-lust connection with her bodyguard Logan, and makes more than one idiotic decision in the first book, which does, as I recall, come to a conclusion. The second and third books probably should just be one book. The second book doesn’t have an ending really. Nothing is resolved, and I don’t recall enough of a buildup of mystery or tension or danger to even call the ending a true cliffhanger. It felt like a chapter break. The third book wraps up the plot with the exception of the romantic hot mess and a few lingering questions Daria had about her family history.
At times in this series I liked the Daria-Logan relationship, but a lot of the time I was either indifferent or not in favor. In the fourth book these feelings were stronger…in both directions. The positive feelings are largely because of Daria’s first person accounting of her own feelings…okay, she’s telling me Logan is who she wants and who makes her happy, so okay, I’ll support the way you do with your friends in questionable relationships. The negative feelings? Well, let’s say Logan will never be a book boyfriend of mine.
I don’t usually do trigger warnings-I don’t pretend to know what will trigger other people, and I find I can be triggered by things that evidently don’t bother anyone else. But I’d guess, if rape is a trigger for someone, this book could trigger them. Even though there isn’t something that would legally qualify as rape in our world (all the actual sex-and there’s a lot-is consensual)…there is a grievous violation of one character by another where consent was needed and was clearly withheld. The only reason it’s not rape is because it’s not something that could happen in our non-paranormal world, so there is no word in our language to describe the violation…but to me the act and consequences were more like rape than any other crime I can think of. There’s an ‘ugh’ and an ‘ick’ that have stuck with me. Ugh that it happened, and ick that in the end after some groveling and true-hero-saves-the-day-big, it’s supposed to be okay that it happened. It’s not okay. It’s not okay. It’s not okay.

To be honest, I finished this series because I had the whole series set on my kindle. Had that not been the case, I might've read book 2 because I liked the type of magic and the set up of book 1. This was more NA/YA than I'd hoped or expected and, at times, the heroine was a bit TSTL; that fine line between naive and dumb was suuuuuper fine sometimes. Overall, I liked the world and many of the side characters, as well as the heroine's abilities. I just don't know if I'll venture any further into the world, which seems kinda large, but who knows ...
This was all the supernatural community books in one which was much better than having to get them one by one. I loved Daria and Logan all the way through and the story had enough drama, action, intrigue and romance all the way through to keep it interesting. I did waiver a little on the last book when it was more about his family accepting her but even then it was infused with another story line and kept me fully invested. Overall I have enjoyed this series and would recommend it
Good story, worth the read; although it was hard not to get frustrated at how dumb this girl could be. I get that it moved the story forward, but did she have to seriously be so naive? A little common sense wouldn't have killed her or the plot. Sigh. Other than that this was a good series and I have no doubt the next set will be just as good. Can't wait to get started.
This series was a pleasure to read. The glorious amalgamation of werewolves, angels, witches & just about any other supernatural being you can think of, made it great fun. Daria & Logan make an enticing couple, whose love has to overcome some serious, & seemingly endless, problems. I'm sure I'm not giving anything away when I say that love triumphs in the end! I'm now going to seek out more of Ms Street's work & I'm hoping that I'll enjoy it just as much.
A good complete series, the storyline is interesting and all the characters are engaging. The main two characters Daria a supernatural healer and Logan an alpha werewolf have serious chemistry from the start and the story follows the progression of their lives and love with a lot of troubles thrown in the process. A very entertaining series and a genuine good read.
Powerful characters, finding out what you are meant to be , as you also discovered that you can find true love, in the strangest of place . Well written ,at time heart wrenching, thrills ,and so much more wrapped in the pages that have you feeling the changes needed in the ways of past ,duty ,honor , the love bring you a romance and fantasy thriller , enjoy...
This had a really rocky start. But the writing did get better still not great. The author had a good idea just not well executed. I very rarely DNF and with audiobooks that’s normally only because of the narrator that being said the ways she said boobs drove me nuts! And it’s says boobs a million times!!!
I loved this series. I'm a huge fan of boxed sets because I can read through a series in no time and this way I don't have to wait around for the next book or worry about the reading order. This was awesome. Great story great characters and just the right amount of spice.
Fantastic world building, character development and fantasy elements. This series is deeper than your typical alpha male romance- author Krista Street takes a deep dive into the supernatural, hierarchies, class systems, traditions, identity and the role of women. Love the characters- seems like each character needs to have their own story!!
An enjoyable supernatural romance with many twists and turns. It was a good story in this genre, though nothing feels absolutely mind-blowing nor completely new. The writing was good, the story well-paced, and the characters relatable. If you're looking for a complete series to listen to for a few days, this one is a good shot.
I finished it but Logan (MMC) irritated me much of the time. Normally I love a growly possessive male but something about him just made me mad. Maybe it’s because she’s so naive. Maybe it was his obsession with her virginity. Don’t know but Logan is not a book boyfriend I’ll be dreaming of. Like ever.
I loved this series. Unique from other things I’ve read, it had great character profiles, was well written, and didn’t leave any plot holes! Great interlinking of different species, different worlds, and different types of characters. Highly recommend. Only a shame I’ve finished them!
I so enjoyed this series I could hardly put it down, such a great writer. Will look for more of her books. Wonderful to read 3 books that are linked together as one. Never had that before. I’m sorry it has come to an end. Buy this book set if you like supernatural, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you to Krista for a great series.
I really enjoyed this series. It was a little racier than I am usually into but I fell in love with the characters and the love story. The werewolves, witches and bad guys are always fun to read about.
Great series absolutely loved Daria and Logan. The magic, excitement, and love was very thrilling. I also loved how Logan and Daria fought for equality amongst men and women.
I got hooked into the collection of all five books the first day. Ended up reading for three days until I read all five. Wonderful story. I read a lot of paranormal alien romance books. This is one of my new favorites.
The characters are supposedly adults but act like hormonal teenagers that are obsessed with breasts and pointing out “he’s/she’s my boyfriend/girlfriend” This is an ok read if you want something light and you’re bored….
Daria is a witch hybrid but she believes she is just a witch. Logan is a bodyguard that she hires but there us so much more to him than that this series had a ton of ups and downs.
This is a new twist on paranoral , this is the first book I have read that had a half angel in it. And the love and the differences in characters was great! The things this poor woman went through was sad. I hope you enjoy this series as much as I did!
Loved everything this series had to offer. The characters have been built enough to adore them and each turn the story takes flows effortlessly. It was so worth the read. About to read the next Krista Street series!
I really loved this series, a complete look at a supernatural world, great alpha romance and a nice struggle to the happy ever after. This is a great love story of a healer and an alpha wolf with lots of twists and turns and of course a beautiful happy ever after
This story was a Rollercoaster of emotions and, man was it ever a ride! I could not put it down and devoured each book! My only regret is that I read it so quickly that now it's over! Can't wait to find more to read from Krista!
I like when all the series are in one book. I enjoyed the procession of Daria’s power. I always thought things with Daniel would’ve progressed but they never did. We never learned why he kept saying “As you wish”. I thought it was cool Daria met her father. I enjoyed the series overall.

I enjoyed this imaginative story so much. I wonder how writers get their ideas. The only thing I wasn't wild about was,for me the overly descriptive sex. Really? 2-3 times a night? It really is fantasy, but it was a fun read. Thanks.
I was reading the 2nd book and thought where this was going . Pick up up another book, then came back to this. As I continued to read, I got so involved I was mad that didn't keep reading. Love the people and detail descriptions.
