Caelyn Murphy is broken.

She's broken because of something that was done to her--something she can't even bear to think about. So she does the only thing she can think of...she runs. Away from her Ivy League college, away from her perfect life, and away from the man who hurt her. Only she runs straight into...

Elijah.

Elijah Daniels is hardened from a life that's seen the worst the world has to offer. But when he meets Caelyn, he knows there’s something different about her. She's been through hell and back, but she hasn't given up.

Caelyn can see that Elijah is gorgeous on the outside, but she also knows he's dangerous. And the last man she trusted hurt her so badly, she may be beyond repair.

But the harder she tries to resist, the more Elijah’s persistence strips her of her armor and leaves her naked and vulnerable.

In the end, neither of them will be able to predict just how far they might have to go to save themselves...and each other.

Loved it!!!!!

This was an amazing ending for Caelyn and Elijah's story. I wondered for the longest time if they would find their happy ending. if things would ever look up for them. when Elijah had his court hearing I cried my eyes out when the dad testified. Elijah may not have been the best person to begin with but under all those tough layers there was a diamond waiting for his moment to shine. I will miss them!!!!!

The book was aswome, didn't expect the ending to happened the way it did. I'm so glad that Eligah and Calyen are together. Elijah and Caelyn saw the fire on the house; and Elijah went in to save the family of the house, while the neighbors stayed out and look on. Elijah has his day in court, were Caelyn thinks the judge will threw the book at him for his past. But Mr. Fisher and his family speak on Elijah's behalf on what he did for his family. The judge couldn't believe it and stated that Elijah has change his behavior. The judge drop the sentence on Elijah and told to stay out of trouble for the next 3yrs. Elijah pick up Caelyn at school and asked the question if she will marry him and she said YES. Can't wait to read about the wedding of Eligah and Caylen, and to read what happens next.

Loved this story!

Couldn't put it down. Lots of suspense and mystery. Hope there will be more of this story. Very minor grammatical errors.

This series started out okay at first but as it unravelled I found myself increasingly upset by the way that Elijah spoke to and treated Caelyn and the way that she kept going back to him started to get old very quickly because it felt very shallow and lacked the depth I would have hoped for. Many of Caelyn's choices seemed defiant and erratic for no reason. Her parents were villainized throughout the story and then near the end there's basically one conversation with her mom and everything is fine?!? There are also tons of plot threads that were just dropped. Caelyn got a job at Starbucks and then stuff happened and she never went and it was never mentioned again. Caelyn was doing much needed physical therapy and was recovering from brain trauma but as soon as she went off with Elijah again there was no mention of either again. As though running away just fixed everything. I also felt that the reasons we were given for Deena's behaviour fell flat for me and in general the entire story felt like a let down to me. It was underdeveloped, the characters motivations and actions frequently didn't make sense or were not explained well, and Elijah's treatment of Caelyn was frequently off putting to the point that by the end I didn't actually want a HEA and despite the change of heart Elijah had after the fire, I think he got off unrealistically easy. All in all a disappointing, underdeveloped read and I definitely won't be reading anything by this author again.

Pretty sure this is the last book in the series and I can't say I'm sorry about it. This story is unbelievable at best.

After going through some terrible ordeals, Caelyn and Elijah realize that love is above all else. That no matter what obstacles are in your way, and no matter how bleak things look, if you believe, it will be so. That you can always be together, even when your not. That even though family, friends, school, the law, and life seem to be against you, if you stick together things have a way of working themselves out.

This is a very tame story about young love. Probably best suited to high schoolers or young adults. The main character of this story Elijah was a tad to cheesy for me. He was always fighting and stealing and being an all around douche to most people. He was trying to be protective, but came off leaving me thinking what in the hell Caelyn saw in him.

The series definitely took a turn that I wasn't expecting and ended up basically a happily ever after kind of story. I loved that they held onto hope for one another that they would always be together despite all the circumstances that they had to face. I also like how the story line with her sister Deena turned out. However, overall I thought this story was going to be a lot sexier, especially after reading other Kelly Favor books but there was not much of that. It felt like more of a young adult novel about love and romance and overcoming the odds of life on the wrong side of the tracks. Not an awful story or anything by any means but just really wasn't what I was looking for when I picked to read the story in the first place.

Undecided

I enjoyed the story, it had you guessing on some levels. I am undecided due to the ending it wasn't bad but I felt it could have involved more detail than it did. I was very disappointed in the fact that these were such short stories and the price of them. this could have been a trilogy but I feel very diappointed that I felt the author took advantage of readers. I realize I had a choice on whether to buy them or not but like I said I did enjoy the story. in saying that I will probably not be buying anymore of her books.

The naked series is 7 books of a wonderful love between two people who are destin to be together but in their journey they are challenged consistently with defining moments of courage.

You will definitely cry that's for sure so have the kleenex ready and don't stop reading. I'm not going to spoil the story so if you are looking for that in this review its not going to happen. All I can say is when you finish Scar you won't be expecting the ending.

Stick it out and don't give up it is worth the wait

Okay so this installment was better but still expensive price point which I think the publisher or author cashed in on and leaves me deciding to steer clear of this author in the future after I finish the books I have already purchased.

This installment saw the main lead male risking his life for strangers and them in turn coming forward to help him get his happy ending.

Wow what a series! Full of ups and downs and the last book keeps you guessing until the very end on if they will get a HEA or not. I will say if I would have had to pay for this series it would have to be a no at almost $3 a book. However I read on KU so I didn't have the concern with cost to add to this review and made the series well worth the read.

I love this series.

I just love Elijah and Caitlyn they had magic when they first met. I loved how it ended giving Elijah a chance to make a good life for himself and Caitlyn's family to really see her sister's behavior.

Great read - Bad boy turns good

Great story, romance, intrigue, mystery and a page turner. Kelly Favor doesn't disappoint me with her stories or her characters, the plots offer variety and my only complaint is I'd rather have one book, than multiple connected shortened episodes.

love caelyn and elijah, even deena was an amazing villain. the only puzzling part was how clueless caelyn's parents were, it seemed a bit unreal to me.

good story!

I an enjoying this series, However I'm not happy with the total amount spent thus far. As the working poor trying to escape 80 pages for $3 seems like a lot!
