I really loved A Practical Arrangement. But then again I always love Matilda Martel stories as she writes with an urgency that takes you along with the characters as they face any roadblocks in getting to their HEA with determination and pure love. This story finds Ella March being dropped from the next semester of her university and about to kicked out of her dorm because her father has "borrowed" the money from her grandmother's trust for her which he is supposed to oversee. After confronting him at his work she literally runs into Grant Whitlock, the CEO of the company and the man she has crushed on for years. Grant may be older but he is still a silver fox. He has also been hiding a secret for the last four years, he fell hard for Ella at her eighteenth birthday party and he is about to be tested in a way he never expected. Their paths cross once again a few night later at a most unexpected place and in a most unexpected way. Grant will do or pay anything to ensure that Ella stays safe and her dreams come true. What happens next is just a lot of sexy and passionate fun.

This was a sexy read with an h who has a very, very disappointing family. This H has a problem with his younger brother's lack of maturity. Both are good people that are closed off in a way. They are both responsible but have people in their lives that take the easy way out.

Her family is in a sad state and she wants to continue her education. Her selfish father took from her and without a care leaving her needing money to continue on. She had a crush on this man and vice versa. He dealt with his younger sibling and agreed with him that he himself might end up alone.

They both had feelings for one another and didn't realize the feelings were mutual. The two make a sexy pair and he doesn't treat her like she cannot handle life. She gives him light in his life and made him have something to smile about. A great pairing with some sexy chemistry.

This is a fast-paced short and steamy age-gap, father's boss romance told in dual POV between Grant and Ella. Not only did her father blow her inheritance so that Ella won't be able to finish college they're going to kick her out. Her parents don't want her moving in with them so she has no place to live. Grant is Ella's father's boss and he's attracted to Ella but he doesn't act on it because he doesn't think she wants him. When Grant finds Ella at a club about to auction herself off because of what happened with her inheritance he makes sure that he's the highest bid. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this fast-paced short and steamy age-gap, father's boss romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

This is a steamy age-gap romance telling Grant and Ella's story.
Grant Whitlock is the owner of the business where Ella's father is employed. Ella's father took her inheritance without her consent. Now she will have no place to live and no money to pay college tuition. Grant has been attracted to Ella for some time, but doesn't know she feels the same. He is upset with Ella's father when he hears what happened. Grant finds out about the auction Ella is going to participate in. He knows what needs to be done.

Really liked this story they had both had feelings for each other for a long time but could never tell or show it. He was her dad's boss but also a lot older than her but one day her jerk of her dad showed his real colours when she went to his office. They only got together by chance when Grant went out with his brother to shut him up & Ella was out with her friend to recover from what her dad had done to her
This story was sweet, steamy, emotional as neither would to come out & tell each other how deep their feelings were.

Grumpy Older Hunk Meets His Match!
Grant has finally acted upon his fantasy. Ella has acted on hers. Will they see the big long term picture and make sure their lust doesn’t overshadow their love. Luckily they produce lots of steam while on this journey and then give us a peak five years down the road. Highly recommend. PEACE.

This is an entertaining short story about a couple with an age gap and an off-limits her father’s boss relationship. The storyline is intriguing and interesting as the elements unfold. The characters are well written with steamy magnetic chemistry between them. I enjoyed this book.

This forbidden, age gap romance is a quick and steamy read. Grant is Ella's father's boss and these two have a unique and practical arrangement that turns into so much more between them. A Practical Arrangement is a well written romance with believable characters and a great ending. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
