Alicia Brown has been writing stories her entire life, but she first saw her words in print at age fourteen when her local newspaper published her letter to the editor defending the late-eighties’ embrace of late-sixties pop culture. Since then, she has published a number of articles and opinion columns and several award-winning short stories. Her first novel, "The Freedom Dreamers," is a coming-of-age story about a teenage runaway who joins the hippie counterculture in 1968 NYC. She lives outside Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband and two dogs. Learn more about Alicia at www.aliciabrownauthor.com.
