Getting chased by three REAL monsters through a graveyard isn’t how I expected this Halloween masquerade ball to go.
When the tall, brooding guy in the vampire costume can’t stop talking about how he wants to suck my blood, I think he's playing it up—until he sucks a little too hard.
As I run off, an even taller, musclier guy in a werewolf costume catches me, claiming I'm his mate. I’m into the roleplay—until he bites me to mark his claim.
I finally run outside to catch some air, tripping over a hunk of a guy dressed as a zombie. He practically drools over me, hanging over my every word—until it turns out he's actuallyhungry for my brain.
When all three of them start fighting over me, it becomes clear none of them are in costume.
These three REAL monsters are fighting over me like the last piece of Halloween candy...
But I just hope they learn to share.

A Monstrous Mistake Multi Author Series
On Halloween night, the lines between fantasy and reality blur as the monsters come out to play. Meanwhile, our human leading ladies are trying to celebrate the holiday in their favorite way — and enjoying some hot men in costumes. But what they don’t know is that the fur and fangs on their sexy dates are entirely real. Can a human woman really find love with the creatures of the night, or have these women made a monstrous mistake?
A California native, Latrexa has always seen the weird in the world and seeks to share their outright lust for the strange and unusual. Their hobbies include sculpting unnatural horrors and running from their inner demons. Latrexa writes for the weirdos, heavily featuring darkness and off-beat humor.
This was such a fun little read! Autumn’s reaction to the attempted biting by all three monsters was hilarious. Just noping out and on to the next hot monster. Each of the boys were adorable in their own way. Vincent was all mopey sadness that transformed into hot for dead wife lookalike. Fenrir had the whole “I was mean to you so you would stay away from me and be safe” thing. And Teddy had the whole unconditional devotion in himbo form. I would have loved for this to be longer so we got more HEA, but it was still good.
Spice: 4/5
Triggers: LOTS OF BITING, ex-bully, dead exes spoken about with grief, gaslighting by her only family member, classic vampire tactics, a nonconsensual lust spell, public play, foreplay in a graveyard, the FMC’s immediate family except for her brother dies in a fire in the past, the zombie has Thing-style sentient limbs and it is a big thing in the sex scenes so it gets weird. Triple penetration (all orifices). Somewhat delayed consent check-ins, violence (brief altercation with lots of body ripping apart, but not resulting in death)
Honest ARC Review: This was such a fun story with equal parts sweet, funny, and steamy. Autumn is dressed up in a pumpkin head and dropped off at a Halloween masquerade party by her older brother. She doesn't do people very often so she's quite anxious. Despite being uncomfortable Autumn decides to try and have fun. When she runs into a couple of guys that have very convincing costumes and all try to bite her she thinks she might be going crazy. These guys all want to rip each other apart to be with Autumn but she wants them all. This was a short story but it felt very well rounded and I just totally fell for all the characters. Autumn is so sweet, awkward, and at times feisty. Even though she was clueless to what was going on she let her heart guide her and I loved that. Autumn's monsters were so much fun to read. They all had great personalities and quirks. Not to mention they all had unique and fun ways of giving pleasure. There were moments that were so swoon worthy, had me laughing, and of course the spice was amazing. This is definitely a must read for spooky season. I would recommend this novella if you enjoy monster romances with monstrous anatomy, MMMF with everyone enjoying eachother, primal play, three P in the V, lot of biting, curses, magic, and fun Halloween vibes.
Absolutely fucking wild. A human, a vampire, a werewolf and a zombie walk into a party… well it’s not that simple. A truly wild monstrous fuck fest with a villain that doesn’t distract the fuck fest for long.
lol this was kind of a mess -- I have no idea if Theodore died 10 years, 7 years, or 3 years ago. I also have no idea how old she is. Like... there is a lot. I had to eventually stop flipping back to see if I missed something because this book is not about plot. If you want some Halloween vibes and old school monster spice then pick this up.
A werewolf, a vampire and a zombie walk into a halloween ball... This was so funny and so good. I always love Latrexa's little references throughout the book. What a dream trio too! Autumn loses her beloved bf to a pumpkin guts accident. She's lost nearly everyone she cares about, except her brother. He convinces her to go to the ball and have some fun. AND WHEWWW. Fun she has. While yes the smut to plot ratio leans more towards smut, the plot is also amazing. A perfect Halloween story with beasts, magic and hot smut to keep you warm on a chilly night.
Haunting into #Halloweekend with some sexy #monstersmut from the incomparable @latrexanova 🐺🧛🧟♂️
With a spooky plotline and scenes so hot they coul make any mummy unravel, this amazing #halloween themed romance book told the tale of Autumn Wood who is trying to satiate her grief at a party with the help of three mysterious strangers - Vincent, Fenrir, and Theodore.
At first Autumn doesn’t believe her luck when Vincent the vampire sucks more than her blood at the party. But she soon has a monstrous task when she realizes her suitors are actually bisexual monsters.
And like the ghostbusters - she ain’t afraid!
Some of my favorite scenes are when Vincent and Fenrir (a werewolf) hilariously yet sexily break off parts of Theodore, who turns out to be Autumns ex-lover brought back from the dead. So often Teddy is used in creative ways including redefining what it means to give head 💀
The three end up in a #poly relationship full of magic and lust with tons of twists, flipping, and surprises along their journey.
This was a size level that would make satan blush! P.S. do NOT google knotting.
“Calm down, spaghetti brains. You’re setting real high standards for the rest of us.”
Latrexa Nova does it again. Let me crown them the monarch of novellas right now. Bitten On Halloween is a quick read that packs comedy, monster smut, diverse characters, and the perfect Halloween vibe into 100 short pages. When I say packs, I mean it. Every time I read one of their novellas, I am surprised at the sheer amount of plot stuffed in there. Don’t get me wrong, I’d LOVE longer stories, but they are so well written and involved that I didn’t even realize it was only 100 pages by the time I reached the end. Consider me converted to novellas.
“You wanna play at being mates?”
I loved watching Autumn grow from a shy, insecure ‘doormat’ character who deferred to everyone else to a strong, outspoken, powerful character who stood up for herself. I was cheering right along as she made the journey. She had her pick of three hot, sexy, supportive monster men, which was why choose perfection—that lucky duck. A vampire, werewolf, and old zombie flame rounded out the leading character group and kept things spicy. The plot read smoothly from beginning to end, and I found myself laughing more than once. Latrexa Nova has given us a suitably spooky and smutty Halloween read.
I appreciate the premise of this novella, it's fascinating to have a vampire, a werewolf, and a zombie all pop out of the woodwork, so to speak, in the same night in a sort of insta-love/fated mates moment. And per usual with Nova, the banter was quite funny. I think my biggest criticism is I would've loved to see it fleshed out more (pun intended? I think?). We get such a short time (much of it spicy) with each of the characters before they "seal the deal." The big bad's motivations aren't very developed. They come down to I'm evil because I'm evil? But if you're interested in a quick little read with a lot spice (and do pay attention to the content warning about body parts being separated!), it's a romp of a Halloween season read.
Definitely Wickedly Naughty!!! “Eventually your weird is gonna match someone else’s weird” ❤️ I truly hope so..lol, chapter 3 should not be read in public 🔥 Also, this was very amusing, I like her lingo/thought process 😆 THIS is definitely the best Witch, Vampire, Werewolf, and Zombie book I’ve ever read!!! ~Especially since I didn’t do Zombies..lol 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃 🤓 wow, impressed with Trigger Warning list!!

This story is an absolute delight, seamlessly blending sweet, funny, and steamy moments! Autumn, donned in a pumpkin head, finds herself at a Halloween masquerade party after being dropped off by her older brother. Despite her anxiety about being around people, she decides to make the most of the evening.
Things take a wild turn when she encounters a group of guys in impressively convincing costumes who all seem intent on biting her. As the night unfolds, she starts to wonder if she’s losing her mind, especially as these monstrous characters vie for her attention. What’s intriguing is that Autumn finds herself drawn to all of them, even as chaos ensues around her.
Autumn’s character is wonderfully well-crafted; she’s sweet, awkward, and at times feisty, navigating this bizarre situation with a refreshing honesty. I loved how she lets her heart guide her, even when she’s clueless about the true nature of her surroundings.
The monsters themselves are a highlight, each bringing their own unique quirks and personalities that make for a fun and engaging read. Their playful and distinct ways of expressing affection keep the story lively and entertaining. There are plenty of swoon-worthy moments that had me laughing out loud, and the spice is nothing short of amazing!
This novella is definitely a must-read for the spooky season. If you enjoy monster romances with MMMF dynamics, primal play, and a hint of magic, this is the perfect choice. Autumn's humorous take on the biting situation adds a fun layer to the story, and I appreciated that there’s a solid plot alongside the spice. It’s a hilarious and spicy monster fest that’s sure to get you in the Halloween spirit! 🎃🔥
I recently read an incredible paranormal romance novella that I just have to rave about. The story centers around a female main character and her three male main characters, all of whom are monsters. One of the male characters is an Irish vampire who believes the female protagonist to be a doppleganger of his beloved wife. Another is a werewolf who happens to be her mate. Lastly, there's a zombie who was her recently deceased boyfriend. The dynamic between these characters is so intriguing and adds a unique twist to the typical paranormal romance storyline.
What I loved most about this novella is the way the author seamlessly weaves together elements of romance, the paranormal, and a touch of Halloween spookiness. The story is incredibly fun and I couldn't help but get swept up in the characters' relationships and the challenges they face.
One thing that really stood out to me was the author's commitment to open representation in the LGBTQIA+ community. It's refreshing to see diverse characters represented in a genre that sometimes lacks inclusivity.
The fluidity of love in this novella is beautifully portrayed, and I found myself fully invested in the relationships that develop throughout the story. The romance is steamy and passionate, but it never overshadows the depth of the characters and the plot.
Overall, I highly recommend this novella to anyone looking for a sweet, steamy paranormal romance with a Halloween twist. It's a quick and enjoyable read that will leave you wanting more from this talented author.
I did not know what I was getting into when reading this….but OOF WAS I GLAD! This is. Monster why chose involving a human female, a vampire, a ware wolf and a zombie.
Autumn is just your typical “people pleasing” sister. Her brother Andy has been taking care of her since their family died. He wants her to be able to meet someone so he tells her to go to the Halloween masquerade.
But little does Autumn know that there are reasons he sent her there in the first place.
This was such a surprising story! I was expecting smut of course, but the story line was great as well! There were some twists and turns that I was not expecting at all. Also when I say there’s spice, THERE IS SPICE! Some parts I had to stop and picture it in my head cause the logistics was a little confusing, but it was still hot! This was the perfect quick read for the season. Latrexa Nova might become one of my favorite monster romance writers…
So I’m not adverse to MMMF, nor am I adverse to short spicy stories! However, I felt like this one had soooo much jam packed into it that it lost some of its appeal. Without giving away a bunch of details, there was a decent amount of backstory between several of the characters, which would’ve made for a good full length story where everything gets explained and comes together in a more natural feeling way. But because it’s a short story a lot of these details were squashed in and left you wondering and wishing for more info. Also, some parts were a little extra silly sounding , like how she keeps running into these different guys, then runs away from them and then is suddenly like, let’s have a gang-bang. 🤣 I kinda got whiplash from all the characters jammed together in a fast paced orgy, but it was spicy! Didn’t dislike it, just wished it had either more depth or less of a story within it.
What a way to start Halloween with a reading that’s not only spooky but also really naughty. I must say this book surprised me with how spicy it is—not one, not two, but three love interests: a vampire, a werewolf, and a zombie! I loved this book; it’s funny, chaotic at times, but the story completely hooked me. I love Latrexa’s stories; they always surprise me—they’re spooky but spicy at the same time, and I love that. Each of the MMC has something special. You get all the personalities, and you don’t have to choose just one—you can enjoy all three equally. Autumn lets herself be swept away by these three daddies and finally stops holding back to enjoy life after having lived in her brother’s shadow. If you want a short read to start this Halloween, I recommend it. It has everything: comedy, romance, why choose, smut—lots of it—spooky vibes, and primal chase.
If this was the 17th century I would have screamed 'witchcraft' a long time ago.
Because how does Latrexa keep writing fictional men I can fall in love with in less than 200 pages? What do you mean a ginger Irishman vampire? Three of my biggest weaknesses in one character. And a werewolf that can't stop his tail from wagging? Yeah, a man being so excited to see me makes me swoon, sue me. And we all know my all-time favourite himbo is another of Latrexa's, but this zombie is a good substitute.
Oh yeah, there's also overcoming controlling and toxic relationships, dealing with grief, and a very insightful side-thought on the ethics of helping your enemy in time of need and how an enemy is only an enemy if they're your equal in some sense. All normal Latrexa stuff, I don't know why you're still sleeping on their books.
This was such a fun quick read just in time for spooky season! It has everything you could want in a Halloween read; it’s set on Halloween at a masquerade party in a gothic castle, with a vampire, a werewolf and a zombie boyfriend who don’t mind sharing, with secret magical, magical items and mate biting! Not to mention, the vampire is a suave and charming Irishman, the zombie is a sweet and loving himbo, and the werewolf is a big grumpy feral man who whines when he doesn’t get his way.
It was soooo steamy to see all of them come together and mix their dynamics to pleasure Autumn. I absolutely loved it, I would definitely recommend it for Halloween, it’s quick, spicy, sweet and perfect for spooky season!
Autumn Woods has always done her brother’s bidding. Finally she knows why and boy is she angry about it. Autumn meets Vincent the vampire first and flirts outrageously with him till they engage during his Halloween party. Next she meets an old tormentor who’s dressed as a werwolf while she’s in a pumpkin head costume. They get amorous in the graveyard of all places. Fenrir the werewolf is her true mate who made her high school days miserable. Now he’s ready to claim his mate but there’s another guy who loves Autumn. Her long dead beau Teddy comes out of his grave as a zombie and the three become a menage. Brother Andy gets an epic karmic smack down before the trio claim Autumn and unleash her witchy powers.

Bitten on Halloween (Monstrous Mistakes #2) Latrexa Nova
‼️Check Trigger Warnings‼️ ⚠️⚠️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶🌶🌶
A werewolf, a vampire, and a zombie walk into a bar. Just kidding! This was such a quirky, funny read. The FMC is hilariously baffled by her suddenly turning into a slut this Halloween, with her inner monologue stealing the show. Along the way, she hooks up with a werewolf, a vampire, and a zombie—one after the other! On top of that, she discovers her brother is a witch who killed their family and has been lying to her. The story was a bit chaotic but incredibly entertaining, making it the perfect Halloween read. It’s also my first time reading this author, and I’m already looking forward to diving into more of their work.
What better way to celebrate Halloween than getting chased by three monsters who all want you and will stop at nothing to make you theirs, even if it means they have to share? That’s exactly what happens to our girl Autumn when she shows up at a masquerade ball and runs into Vincent, a vampire who wants to bite her, Fenrir, a werewolf who says she’s his mate, and Teddy, a zombie who wants to eat her.
This little novella had me giggling and excited to see what would happen next! It’s not every day a girl bags a Vampire, Werewolf, and a Zombie all in one night. This is a fun, spicy MMMF, why choose quick novella and definitely worth a read.
Latrexa Nova NEVER ever fails me. They've done it again! Somehow, 'Bitten on Halloween' has everything, without feeling like it's just trope stuffing. I was skeptical about the FMC's behaviour to begin with - it didn't seem to align with her character and personality - but it was all explained in the end, and made for the BEST Halloween story.
For fans of Vampires, werewolves, zombies, warlocks and witches, sentient body parts, why choose, fated mates, and so much more! Basically, if you like the impossibly weird and wonderful but still want to be treated like a Queen, this is for you!
• Why Choose • Primal Play • Sword Crossing • Creative Use of Body Parts
I absolutely LOVED this book! It's completely absurd, chaotic, and absolutely hilarious! Teddy is the sweetest little himbo zombie I've ever come across while Fenrir and Vincent are just two big man babies fighting over their favourite toy. Let's not forget our sweet, socially awkward little Autumn who finally let's her inner freak out for an unforgettable Halloween. If you're looking for a spicy little bite-sized snack that's perfect for the spooky season, this is one to sink your teeth into!
Super spicy and cute novella. Perfect for the Halloween vibes!
A werewolf, zombie, and a vampire. Sounds like the perfect combo. And Autumn is the perfect center piece for their group.
It’s a fast paced story. With a decent amount of plot and whole heaping for spice. I enjoyed the little spin they put on it. And how all the characters come together.
100% recommend this for the spooky season. And even after for a fun time.
I received an ARC of this for free. I am voluntarily leaving this review.
Adorable Halloween story! Autumn goes to a Halloween party, pushed by her brother. She wants to be more social and flirts with a vampire but he bites her and she is not in for that. Then she meets a werewolf, who also bites her and she gets pissed and wanders to a cemetery. At the cemetery she comes upon a zombie, who wants to bite her but doesn't (at that time). Thinking she is getting attacked by the lovesick zombie, the vampire and werewolf swoops in and a fight starts. After Autumn gets the fight to end, the fuckfest begins!
I loved it! So cozy and sweet!

Well - the author does say she "writes for the weirdos, heavily featuring darkness and off-beat humor." So it is . . . unusual and since rotting flesh is not a kink I have, I struggled with a vivid imagination and gag reflex twisted into a weird urge to giggle. From a book lover's perspective. An extremely basic plot with flat stereotypical characters built in a story with absolutely no world building - thus the 2/5. LOTS of kinky sex and a HEA? ?? Oh and the sex is mf, mm, mmm, & mmmf if you can get past the detached body parts.
I’d say this is a 3.5⭐️ read This is a cute little monster why choose romance!
It’s definitely got the spooky season vibes if you’re needing more for your TBR! What do you get when you mix a cursed witch, ancient vampire, bully werewolf, and your undead first love together? Kinda sounds like a line for a joke. It’s a short quick read, lots of steam, monsters and HEA!
Are you looking for a funny, knotty, chaotic, spicy, little read to sink your teeth into this Halloween. This could be your cozy little monster romance book. It’s not so spooky but a perfectly spicy Halloween story. This is such a cute little read to give you a break.
Autumn a loner who finally lets her inner freak out when her bother makes her go to a Halloween party. Teddy is the sweet little himbo zombie Fenrir our big bad wolf and Vincent is just batty
Autumn goes to a Halloween masquerade and she meets a pierced vampire, a werewolf that wants to knot her, and a zombie that has ‘detachable limbs’ 😏 Each of the guys had very different personalities which was great! I feel like sometimes in short stories characters don’t really have a very good voice in a why choose but the author k!lled it 😉
I definitely recommend reading this quick, fun read!
This little novella is super spicy and Halloween themed. It gets straight to the point and I like the idea of a werewolf, vampire, and zombie! Tina Belcher would be all over this! The zombie thing was a bit hard to grasp, the whole rotting flesh thing. I was struggling with trying to figure out what was where and what was going on during the spice scenes 😅 the last one was a little unbelievable in my opinion but I guess magic! It was a fun Halloween story!
This was a fun read. Our MFC goes to a Halloween party and meets 3 monstrous guys. All the guys want her, but due to some shenanigans from her brother, they are temporarily blocked. They resolve the problem and get it on! I was expecting smut to be the point, but happy to see more to the story. There is a scene in the book in which a werewolf body slams a vampire bat and it makes me laugh every time I think of it.
