I like these books, I really do. My one big complaint is that there are so many typos. I really just want to fix them. I end up highlighting them and making notes for myself but ugh. Also a few select phrases that don't fit within a fantasy context linguistically -- "puritanical" being something a character says in a later book for example. (Why are there Puritans being referenced in a fantasy world?)
But other than that I'd say that these are my favorite books for this year so far. Yes I'm reading and buying all of them. They're fun! I enjoy it. I just wish they had gone through another round of proof reading.

So I gave this a shot because I really love Elisabeth Wheatley’s Book Goblin skits. I like her voice and she is the reader as well. Actually really enjoyed this…it’s an easy listen. There is good romantic tension and a good amount of plot too.
