Life hadn’t been kind to Lanie Carley, especially after her parents died, leaving her to raise her younger, autistic brother with only the help of her best friend. After years of struggling, including getting her heart broken by the love of her life, she just wanted a break. What she did not want was to get caught up in the middle of a mafia dispute that connected her in ways she never would have suspected.
Jason Rathborn had only one regret in his life - walking away from the woman he loved. After making some lucrative business moves, he had the ability to do whatever he wanted. The problem was, he made an enemy along the way, one determined to ruin him and take what he holds most precious.
When Lanie and Jason meet again, the past and present collide. Will Jason be able to save his queen of hearts and have his happily ever after?
I liked this book for the reason it gave me a lot of insight to the characters, however, I do feel like it’s a reason I didn’t give it five stars because I do feel like it was sometimes too much insight in parts that I did find myself skimming over, but still overall a good read plus the spice! 🥵
First of all, I love the cover of the book. It's so good.
Rating ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️.5 Spice 🌶 🌶 🌶
This books gives away the vibes filled with intense emotions, love, pain, heartbreak, suspense, thrill, twists and second chances.
Lanie and Jason ⭐️
Jason the powerful man with a successful empire and wealth beyong imagination but still he has one regret. That regret is eating him alive, leaving the love of his life, Lanie behind.
He has everything but his hearts craves for the love and warmth of Lanie.
Lanie an amazing and resilient woman who has been through so many hardships but still remains stick to her character. She is so loyal and the way she balances her duties and taking care of her Autistic brother.
Jason who was craving for Lanie has chance where life put Lanie back into his life.
❓️But can he have her back? ❓️What are the risks that are involved? ❓️What is at stake this time? ❓️Will Lanie give him the second chance?
There are so many questions. But to find answers you have to read the book.
Now if we talk about the writing and story delivered by Author, then I'll say the author did a great job. The power, the dynamics, the tension, the mystery, the twists, everything was appropriately written and steamy scenes was passionate and laced with emotions and perfect.
You can give it a try and enjoy the passion of the love they share. ❤️
I really enjoyed this book and it was much different than I thought it was going to be. This story is about Jason and Lanie. The book starts out with them dating but then he has to make a tough choice and breaks up with her. He was her brothers teacher and she was her brothers “mom”/ caregiver. She was devastated and heartbroken. After their parents death, Lanie struggled to survive and provide her brother who has a disability. A few years go by and they see each other again. But can she give him a second chance after he gave her up so easily before and broke her heart? Jason is now a professor and plays poker occasionally with some not so upstanding people. He also lives a few hours away from her.
There is a lot that goes in this story. A lot of it is Lanie and her brother and their daily life. And then Jason and his life and incorporating into theirs. But then there is some suspense and danger going on in the background. It’s a really long book at about 500 pages. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I felt it was unnecessary too long and there were parts where I just had to put it down or skim through because they weren’t adamant to the story. Overall, it was a good book though and surprised me.
I absolutely loved the chemistry between Lanie and Jason. While the history of Jason leaving her was heartbreaking, his sheer determination to win her back was everything. Lanie is such a strong, admirable FMC—I especially loved her fierce dedication to her brother.
The only reason I didn't give it a full five stars was that I wanted even more of them at the end, but overall, it’s a beautiful story about forgiveness and fighting for the one you love.

I really enjoyed this read a lot ! The authors writing style paired with a very unique book set up makes for a really good taboo story. Plus size representation is always nice to see which you get in this story with the FMC , you also get Autism representation as well in the FMCs younger brother whom she cares for , and a beautiful sexy older man who doesnt wanna lose his teaching job but makes the wrong decision. The spice is spicing but you’ll have to read it yourself if Jason gets his queen of hearts !
When I started to read this book, I realized that it wasn’t what I thought it would be. That isn’t a bad thing. From the beginning, you can see the intense connection between Lanie and Jason. Their relationship is intense, so when Jason makes a choice that tears them apart, it almost destroys the both of them. But this is a story about growth and second chances. As soon as the two she each other again, they can’t fight the magnetic attraction between them. What makes this story different is the suspense and danger that comes to the couple because of basically a sore loser. As someone who grew up playing poker, I loved The Den and the addition of all of the poker terms. I enjoyed when Jason was explaining everyone’s tells and how he is in a completely different place finacially because of his poker skills.
Lanie is a strong woman that works hard to not only take care of herself but also her brother who is neurodivergent. I love the relationship between Lanie and Kevin. You can see how they both care so much for each other. Lanie is strong enough to know that she enjoys being submissive. When Lanie and Jason meet again, it was refreshing to see the growth that they had together and how they were able to be completely open in the bedroom. I wanted to hit Jason at the beginning when he left, but seeing how dedicated he was to win back Lanie’s trust allowed me to forgive him. Outside of the two MCs, I loved Kami and Kevin. They were great side characters and I appreciated how they were there for Lanie.
This book was on the longer side at around 500 pages, but I think the length allowed the reader to be able to really dive into Lanie and Jason’s relationship and still include the suspense and action that the book had. There are some triggers, so be sure to read those. The spicy times can be very intense but I really enjoyed reading them. This book was well written and entertaining. I loved seeing this dynamic written so well in the book. Degradation can easily cross the line, but the author did it here perfectly. The Professor’s Bet was fun, spicy, and intense and was able to draw me into the story. Absolutely worth reading.
In The Professor’s Bet, K.M. Ringer brings us a romance that’s as heart-wrenching as it is exhilarating, exploring themes of second chances, family loyalty, and the unpredictable twists of life. This story follows Lanie Carley, a resilient woman who’s endured unimaginable hardship, stepping up as a caregiver for her autistic brother while grappling with heartbreak and loss. Lanie’s journey is one of strength and vulnerability, making her a deeply relatable and compelling character, especially with the representation of neurodivergence and plus-size positivity.
Enter Jason Rathborn—a man with only one regret: leaving Lanie behind. Now, he’s built a successful empire but finds himself entangled in a dangerous mafia dispute that brings him face-to-face with the one woman he never stopped loving. Jason’s wealth and power mean little when he realizes Lanie is once again within reach, but at a cost that might be too high. The stakes are heightened with a lurking enemy ready to destroy him and take away everything he holds dear, including his “queen of hearts.”
The chemistry between Lanie and Jason is intense, as they navigate a complex web of past hurts, current threats, and the lingering possibility of a future together. Ringer masterfully intertwines romance with suspense, keeping readers on edge as the characters confront their fears and old wounds, discovering if love is strong enough to conquer the odds stacked against them.
The inclusion of neurodivergent and plus-size representation adds depth to the story, providing an authentic and respectful portrayal of characters often overlooked in romance novels. Lanie’s experience of caring for her brother adds an additional layer to her character, showing the sacrifices and the love that fuel her resilience.
The Professor’s Bet is more than a romance; it’s a story of second chances, family bonds, and the courage it takes to face your past. With a mix of passion, danger, and heart, K.M. Ringer delivers a captivating tale that will keep readers rooting for Lanie and Jason’s happily-ever-after.
If you’re looking for a book that brings all the intensity—love, suspense, and spice—The Professor's Bet is it! KM Ringer has crafted an addictive story that blends heartfelt romance with sizzling chemistry, and I’m beyond grateful to the author for the incredible PR box that perfectly matches the book’s vibe. This one is taking over my social media, and for good reason!
Lainey Carley is a heroine we can all relate to, and her thought process feels like reading my own mind sometimes. She’s deeply loyal and incredibly strong, balancing the responsibilities of raising her younger, autistic brother while facing her own wounds from a past heartbreak. The way she loves those closest to her—her brother, best friend, and Jason—is so intense, and that passion shines in every part of her story.
Her connection with Jason is pure fire, and their chemistry burns up the pages! They’ve easily earned a spot as one of my top favorite book couples.
And speaking of chemistry, the spice in this book is on another level! Ringer delivers some seriously steamy scenes that are not only passionate but also woven with so much emotion—it’s everything I want in a romance. You can feel the tension and longing between Lainey and Jason, and every moment they share feels electric.
Beyond the romance, the story is packed with juicy layers: family secrets, a secret society vibe, and some high-stakes mafia drama. The powerful mix of academia, wealth, and power struggles creates a unique backdrop that’s gripping and intense. Lainey and Jason’s journey brings mystery, intrigue, and a sense of danger that had me flipping the pages as fast as possible.
The Professor’s Bet is a perfect blend of heart, heat, and suspense, with just the right amount of dark twists. KM Ringer has crafted an unforgettable story that will resonate with fans of romance, spice, and edge-of-your-seat drama. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a book that’s as thrilling as it is steamy!
Overall, I enjoyed The Professor’s Bet. I appreciated the content warning at the front of the book and would encourage readers who are sensitive to any of the things mentioned, in particular scenes related to a mass shooting, to take it seriously. I also enjoyed the representation of neurodivergence, body positivity, and the level of care/consent in the spicy sections. If you like your romance with heavy doses of DS play, you will not be disappointed. This book does not shy away from explicit erotica with a significant amount of page space being dedicated to such activities.
Where this book lost me is in its villains and the tertiary characters. If the "good" mobsters are so powerful and competent as we are led to believe, why were there so many security lapses? This conflict drives a lot of the tension in later parts of the story, but it seems unnecessary. The workplace sexual harassment storyline also seems a little awkward and forced, in particular the end. Finally, missing in the back half of the book is Laine’s relationship with her best friend, which was so pivotal in the beginning.
I sadly did not connect well with the author’s writing style as some of the dialogue and descriptions were confusing. The book and the story overall would have benefitted from thorough editing to tighten up the plot and addressing some of the repetitive writing and unclear prose. Critique aside, there is certainly an audience for this book. Plenty readers will enjoy the story for the primary relationship between Jason and Laine and their burning desire for each other.
Thank you to BookSirens for the free advance review copy I received. I appreciate the opportunity to read and review this book and I do so voluntarily.
Lanie and Jason are dating and getting serious enough that BDSM is a part of their relationship. However, there's an issue with him being the teacher in high school for her younger brother. In order to save Jason's career and license, he breaks up with Lanie with a chance to come back in 18 months. She's so broken afterwards, and her autistic brother is confused, but he hurt nonetheless. Lanie has to move on, and so does her brother.
5 years passes by, and she goes to suprise visit her best friend at college early and low and behold she runs into Jason. He's a professor at the same university. He immediately dismissed class and ran over to her. The sparks and chemistry are still there, and he wants a second chance. Jason is finally in a financially stable point in his life and is still able to teach due to some illegal poker games. Lanie gives him that second chance.
The love story between the two picked right back up after Jason is groveling at her feet. There's some super spicy scenes with some assistance with an attachment for Lanie to use on Jason. I absolutely felt like I needed a cool towel to bring my temperature down after reading this 🌶 🔥🌶.
Thank you, author, for the ARC! Release Date: November 12, 2024

I fell in love with Lanie and Jason soo much and how much love they have for each other. As well as Kevin! Omg I love him soo much. If you’re looking for a second chance romance that is just a perfect blend of spice and plot? This is for you! I loved the plus-size representation, I love it soo much! 🥹. Highly recommend, even tho it isn’t a dark romance, there’s some trigger warnings that do need to be read before hand. Happy reading! 🫶🏼
Review: K.M. Ringer is a new to me author and wow was I completely blown away with this book. Not only is this cover absolutely beautiful but the book was pretty amazing as well.
This book has just about everything you would want and more. Second chance romance, all the spice and damn is it hot, plus size FMC rep, neurodivergent rep, a bit of mafia, a hot as hell professor, and gambling. The Professor's Bet will definitely keep you intrigued till the very last page.
Lanie is such a strong FMC. Not only is she smart and sassy she also takes such amazing care of her brother Kevin and those close to her that she loves. Jason pairs with her so well. He is confident, sexy, and the way he treats Lanie is out of this world. He's kind and respectful until he has her calling him Sir.
The only complaint you will hear from me is that I wish we had so much more begging and groveling from Jason's end. I feel like Lanie gave in far too easily after he completely broke her heart as well as her brothers when he decided to walk away from them. But in the end, he more than made up for it both in their life as well as on his knees.
Thank you so much to this amazing author for allowing me to read this book as well as sending me such a phenomenal PR box. I am still completely obsessed with it. I highly recommend giving this book a read.
The Professor’s Bet By: K.M. Ringer Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️4/5
This book truly captivated me with its many remarkable aspects. I appreciated the diverse characters, including plus-size representation and a character with autism. Kevin's storyline was particularly touching, for me personally. As a mother of an autistic child, it was profoundly moving to see a character resembling my son, portrayed as an adult.
One of my favorite elements was the emphasis on boundaries during intimate scenes, showcasing consensual agreements between parties involved in BDSM activities. This thoughtful inclusion added depth and realism to the narrative.
Additionally, the author's attention to detail was commendable, especially with the inclusion of poker terms and hands for readers unfamiliar with the game. Although I grew up playing poker, this was a nice touch that enhanced the reading experience.

Man, this book had it ALL!! A phenomenal second-chance romance! Some heartbreak, some neurodivergence, some plus size representation, some mafia ties, a little age-gap and some danger an intrigue! I mean, who could pass this up? Not me, that’s for sure!
I’m not going to just reword the description for you, I’m sure you’ve read it, but just know that K.M. Ringer has knocked another one completely out of the park! She nailed this book! I loved the characters! Kevin was a breath of fresh air as a character! I absolutely loved him! Jason chose his career first but always regretted it. Lanie was heartbroken but moved on with her brother. K.M. Ringer made the emotions leap off the page!
Years later when meeting again, he wants her back and there’s drama, danger and suspense! It was the perfect book! This was a longer book which I actually enjoyed because I sometimes get tired of all of the books that are over before they seem like they even start! There was a great amount of spice in this book and an outstanding story to go with it!! You just can’t go wrong!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Mmc Jason is dating fmc lanie but there’s an issue, he’s her younger brother’s teacher and it’s not allowed. His bosses find out and make him decide between his job and his relationship with lanie. He chooses his job but immediately regrets it. Lanie is beyond devastated and her autistic brother cannot understand what’s going on. Eventually they move on. 5 years pass and whilst visiting her best friend she happens to bump into Jason and it was like no time had passed. The chemistry never depleted and they are all over each other. Now Jason is financially stable due to playing illegal poker games. So without knowing what he does on the side, Lanie gives him a second chance. Within 24 hours lanie realises she is being followed in a city where she only knows 2 people. That’s when his other life comes to light. This book left me on the edge of my seat. KM Ringer is a new author to me and I really enjoyed their style of writing and the spice was spicy. The amount of representation in this book is amazing and something I’ve not seen before. I will be reading more from KM. Please check the triggers warnings before reading.
I enjoyed this book from the first page I knew I was in for a treat. I couldn't wait to settle into it with Lanie & Jason, their journey that starts out tender, but so intense when they are young and in love to five years later as mature adults who both have baggage but still haven't lost their love for one another.
Lanie begins to trust Jason again, slowly letting him back into her life. Her brother, is autistic and for Lanie will always come first, they are a package deal. Jason not only destroyed her but also her brother too, letting him back into their lives is not an easy choice, but Lanie has not stopped loving him, so takes the chance.
At times I felt there was too much detail but the spice made up for this, both revealing their fantasies and trying them out. Lots of intensity, mystery and drama led the story to a gripping, addictive book. I would read more from the side characters too. A great read! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
The Professor's Bet is an emotional rollercoaster full of intense spice, Mafia, lost family, gambling, kidnapping, trama, and secrets. This book although very long keeps you enthralled from first page to last. The storyline is convoluted but is essentially about a couple that have never stopped loving each other even when they weren't together. Laine and Jason have much to overcome before there will be smooth sailing for them. Lainie's Uncle Thom who she hasn't seen since her parents died is part of the Mafia and that adds darkness to the story. She is an extremely strong independent woman who has raised her autistic brother Kevin and always provided for him. Jason is one of my favorite characters as well as Kevin Lainie's brother. He adds brightness and humor to this book. This author definitely understands the human condition because her character building is some of the best I've read. You genuinely like and enjoy the character interactions and she makes them so real as if your right there with them. Totally enjoyed and will read more by this author in the future.
Phenomenal! This may be in my top 5 for the year. I am so obsessed with Jason and Lanie's story. This book was about 500ish pages of a complete roller coaster. There were sometimes I was able to predict what would happen but other times were very creative. I read a lot of books so often times books don't stand out to me, but I will be thinking about The Professor's Bet for a long time. This had themes of mafia and second chance romance. I'm typically not a fan of 2nd chance romance but this was so tastefully done. I loved all the side characters. Lanie's brother Kevin takes up a large part of the story. He is neurodivergent and a completely devoted brother. I enjoyed that you basically get his story as well as Lanie's simultaneously. The smut starts in chapter one and was SO good. This book had a great balance of smut and plot. I recommend you start this book ASAP!!! Also, this cover is gorgeous and I can't wait to purchase a physical copy for my bookshelf!
Ooph, how do I say this? This might be K.M.Ringer's best book yet! Now, I LOVE Ashes and Flame, but Professors Bet? This was everything and the bag of chips. You have romance, spice, mafia, poker, intrigue, representation of plus-size characters, and Autism. It ticks off all the boxes. Lanie is believable and loveable. She's smart, kind, sassy, fearless, and fearce. Jason is the perfect match for Lanie. He is determined, confident, saucy, protective, and loving. Although, I have to say my favorite character is Kevin. I don't want to give anything away, but this is a fantastic story that has all of the twists, turns, emotion and humor of a Hallmark movie, but with the added element of adult SPICY situations (on page), violence, thrills, and suspense of a Lifetime movie. Ms. Ringer has done it again (and again), I have fallen for her characters, and I can not wait til the next book. Oh, BTW, be on the lookout for some cameos and Easter eggs.... there are quite a few. IFYKYK.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So this is a new author to me and I am not disappointed at all!!
This story is a second chance spicy romance about Lanie and Jason. Lanie had a troubled life, especially after being left to raise her younger, autistic brother following her parents' death. She and Jason dated, but he broke up with her. Years later, they meet again. Could this be a second chance? Jason's only regret in life is having left her. Can they get over the past hurts and finally have their HEA?
This story is gripping, spicy, and engaging. Would definitely recommend 👌 Great Plus size and Neurodivergent representation, too.
TRIGGERS - Make sure you check your triggers! • Parental death • Gambling • BDSM Aspects • Degradation • Pegging • Murder • Violence • Profanity • Cheating - No MCs • PTSD Flashbacks • Stalking • Mass Shooting • Drug use • Torture • Kidnapping • Impact Play • Addiction • Attempted Bombing
This was a new author for me, and I really enjoyed this book! What drew me in to begin with was the cover but the book did not disappoint. I also loved the plus size and neurodivergent representation.
The relationship between Lanie and Kevin was heartwarming. Lanie made sure he was taken care of and I could feel that on the pages when she spoke of him.
Lanie and Kami's relationship was the kind of friendship we all need. The kind where they will come in and be there for you when you need them the most.
Then we have Jason - I was not a fan but I changed my views as the story progressed. I ended up rooting for him! Yes, the book actually had me rooting for a fictional character.
The spice, is spicing in this book and I was here for it.
The Professor's Bet was more than I expected, it is not just a romance with second chances. I highly recommend giving it a read.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
3.5⭐️ This is a second chance spicy romance with a mafia side plot & neurodivergent & plus size representation.
Lanie takes care of her autistic brother after losing their parents. She is heartbroken not only because of that, but also because of the break up with the love of her life Jason. When Lanie visits her friend in college, she runs into her ex & they instantly rekindle their relationship. Little does she know, he has been gambling & he has made big bucks, & in doing so, pissed off some people in high places. Everything takes a turn when they start being followed & Lanie’s life is put in danger.
I really enjoyed the first half of this book, but the second chance romance of it all seemed a little too easy for me, I wish the MMC had to grovel a little more, but nonetheless the relationship between the two characters was really cute. The spice was good, but the overuse of “Sir” & “my queen” got a little redundant after a while. The mafia side plot was interesting should’ve been a main plot point, i wish it could’ve been fleshed out a little more & added more to the story development, but it was sort of rushed throughout the second half of the book. Overall this story was enjoyable & it was nice to see the great representation of autism & a plus size character being loved so unconditionally.
I received this as PR & am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
It took me a while to get into this book, so much I had to put it down and then come back to it. I finally finished it yesterday and it was ok, but it didn't really grip me like other books have this year.
I didn't like how she just got over how he treated her in the beginning and basically ghosting her for 5 years, but that's OK as long as she sees him that one time all is forgiven?
I felt there was 2 story's going through the book one was the dom/sub side and then the other storyline of poker/mafia connections where it was drawn out that her family was part of the mafia but no one was supposed to know what was going on. This could of happened alot sooner, and I felt it dragged on.
I liked the relationship between Lanie and her brother Kevin, nothing would get in the way of her protectiveness for him and rightly so.
It was ok as thatory goes , but I don't think I would return to read it again.
I LOVED this book. The second chance romance, neurospicy rep, plus sized FMC rep. And honestly, this book will take you by surprise, it was t what I expected and that’s what I love most about it.
The man worshiping his woman, and recognizing that the second chance can’t be passed up is one of my favorite tropes. Also the fact that he wants to care for her and her neurospicy sibling?!?! UGH be still my heart!!
It is a little bit on the darker side of romance, but overall the story of watching these two lovebirds reconnect despite all odds is 100% worth the dabble into darkness.
If you’re looking for a mafia romance, with moderate spice levels, second chance love and endless swoon worthy moments this is for you.
I was sent a PR package for this by Kim & her team. All above thoughts and opinions for this book are my own.
"Omg, if you want an A+ in spice, then this book is for you. Jason and Lanie are the "it" couple. But there's one problem: he's her brother's professor. So when his work finds out that he has a romantic relationship with a student's sibling, they tell him to either end the relationship or get fired.
If I could give this book more than five stars, I totally would. I never lost interest from the dedication to the last page. And to top it off, Kevin, the brother, had my heart in a choke hold. He's the sweetest brother there could ever be, and the way he feels his emotions is powerful. I love that the author made his character the way he is because it made the book more genuine. I 100% recommend reading this book!
What a fantastic read, an interesting storyline that brings Lanie and Jason back together for a second chance that is worth fighting for.
Great character building, I got a good feel for each character and how their lives intertwined. Kevin who is Lanies autistic brother held a special place in the story, his growth throughout the book and his love for his sissy was beautiful.
This story covers love and second chances, revenge and a baddie who would try anything to tear Lanie and Jason apart. Bring in a mafia uncle and you have a brilliant read with some great spice to make it even better.
I will definitely be reading more from this author.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
There are so many tropes to satisfy my reading desires. The author managed to put in romance, a morally gray professor, a bit of mafia, lost then found family, second chance, plus size fmc, and of course spice! I'm sure there are even more that I didn't list here!
Lanier is the fmc. She is an emotionally strong woman taking care and raising of her brother, Kevin. He has some Autistic special needs and is a smart and talented young man.
The mmc is Jason (Jase), he makes a life decision that causes a lot of pain but is given a second chance. His character brings so much to the story! At times I loved him while at other times I strongly disliked his character.
The end was so amazing! I definitely recommend this book!
I enjoyed reading this book so much! The main couple actually communicated with each so well, I hate it when they never talk to each other and have issues because of that. The way Jason treated Lanie was incredible, he respected and loved her so much it was refreshing to see. I think the only reason I couldn’t give the book 5 stars was because I was never fully able to forgive Jason for what he did in the beginning or the fact that he adjusted every other page it seemed. Lanie is the best older sister anybody can ask for, and she deserves Kami in her life. Honestly, want a book with incredible spicy scene with a couple that love and respect each other, this is the book for you. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Loved the plot, however the book was far too long.
I feel if it was cut down a few hundred pages it would’ve made a great difference. The beginning was very slow, I felt that the MMC could’ve groveled more, he didn’t work enough for the damage that he delivered in the beginning.
The whole bet concept was what brought me into the story. I felt that aspect of the story was most interesting.
Spice was spicy 🌶️🌶️🌶️ I will say my favorite part was when the fmc was in charge in the bedroom. I wish there was more kink exploration.
Second chance secret society romance with LOTS of spice!! I loved getting to see the development of the relationship between Jason and Lanie (and Kevin bc they’re a package deal). That and the engaging plot making me want to continue reading to find out what will happen next was *chefs kiss*
There are some light BDSM scenes and graphic content so tread lightly if you wish. I wasn’t a huge fan of the pet names the MC’s had for each other, but otherwise, I devoured this book and everything about it! The love Lanie has for Kevin and the love Jason has for BOTH Lanie and Kevin was so sweet and had me “aww”-ing and tearing up here and there.
