Amazing. I fell in love with the first book in this series and was blessed to have been a beta reader for this amazingly sweet author. It was so cool getting to see how this series grew and changed before my eyes, from the versions I’ve read to their final heartbreakingly hopeful endings. I truly think this book is my favorite of the three. The twists it took from dystopian into light science fiction and the character development is just stunning. This series and author will always be a recommendation from me!

I loved this series, but the last book was a bit of a mess. Got really heavily into religion with lots of biblical references. Phrases were reused over and over again to the point it was annoying to read. I also felt like there were a larger amount of plot holes and jumps in the story in the third book. Since this is a Wattpad book. I am hopeful that if it gets published and sold in stores, an editor will help to work out the kinks in this third installment.

First of all, giant props to the author and publisher for including a recap at the start of this book! All series should do this honestly, it is so helpful, because I can barely remember what I ate for lunch, let alone the details of a book I read at least a year ago. So thanks! This was a satisfying, if not epic finale. The loose ends were tied up, and the characters' stories were all told. It was not overly unrealistic, which is nice, but nor did it make me frustrated. I am not trying to spoil anything, but I think it is safe to say that if you liked the series, you will like this final installment. It wasn't the sort of story that I cannot stop thinking about, but it was enjoyable and entertaining and the finale wraps things up. Overall, a pretty solid series that I am glad to have read!

Bottom Line: Good end to an enjoyable series detailing what comes after the end of the world.

I know that post-apocalyptic books can often feel repetitive, but even after reading the first two books in this series, I found this one to still be creative and fun to read. The ending absolutely ruined me—but in the best way possible, I want more. The characters are some of my favorites I’ve ever read about; the family dynamic and the romance left me feeling every emotion imaginable. In this book especially, I felt like I got to know some of my favorite characters better and became more a part of their stories.

Having been invested in this series for over a year, I was so sad when it ended. I’m honestly not sure if there will be a fourth book—I really hope there is, because that ending was not nice (in the best way possible). A lot of times, I feel like book series get progressively worse as they go, but I thought every book in this series was incredible. I loved them all—well, almost equally—but the first one will always be my favorite. 🤍

This author should have wrote the bible instead of this series. Honestly, the first and second book where amazing. I’m a big fan of post apocalyptic books, but I felt deceived by the author trying to push ‘god’ into my believe system. Don’t get me wrong, a mention about god or a character believing in it is very common. But every single character was turned into a Christian by the end of the book. Goodreads should make an extra tag for this book ‘Christian fiction’.

This ruined the whole vibe of the series and I’m sad about that.

The Last Creation is the 3rd (and presumably final) book in the The Last She series. I really enjoyed the whole series, though I think I liked the first two books a little more than this one. I thought it was interesting to follow the perspectives of 4 different characters (Ara, Kaden, Sam, and Sevyn), and Sevyn gave some interesting insight into the Creation, who are basically the villains of this story. The book starts with many of the characters separated (again) and converging in Boise, though this part took longer than I was expecting. There's definitely an ominous tone to the story with the impending doom of the Creation coming. Many of the characters are faced with very difficult choices to make, and it was interesting to see how these characters have grown and changed over the course of the 3 books. Some parts were downright heartbreaking, while others gave a sense of hope. The book ended with a couple things that felt a bit unresolved, leaving me a bit disappointed, though admittedly it kept me thinking for a while after reading it. If another book eventually comes out for this series, I'll definitely want to read it.

I honestly don't think I've ever been this invested in a book series before. The Last She is, without a doubt, the best series I have ever read.

From the very first page, I was completely hooked. The story is full of mystery, suspense, action, emotion, and unforgettable characters. Every book kept me wanting more, and I found myself thinking about the story even when I wasn't reading.

Ara is one of my favorite protagonists ever. She's strong, determined, and incredibly easy to root for. The relationships, especially with Kaden, felt genuine and added so much emotional depth to the story.

The world-building is fantastic. I loved discovering more about the virus, the state of the world, and all the secrets hidden throughout the series.

What makes this series special is that it does everything well: the characters, the plot, the emotional moments, the tension, the romance, and the twists. It made me laugh, stress, hope, and sometimes even cry.

Finishing this series left a huge void because I became so attached to these characters and this world. If you're looking for a series that will completely consume your thoughts and emotions, I can't recommend The Last She enough.

I heartily enjoyed both The Last She and The Last City, so as soon as I saw the final book was available to request on NetGalley, I knew I had to request it!

This was a fast paced, dystopian adventure story. There were multiple perspectives this time so it was interesting to get into the heads of a few different characters. The stakes felt very high, especially with the threat of the Creation.

I can’t say too much about the plot because of spoilers, but there were definitely many twists and turns and I really had no idea how everything would be resolved. I would have liked the ending to be a little less open, but I still really enjoyed this book - and the series as a whole.

WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS! What an ending to this trilogy. What a full circle moment with Sam becoming his best himself, Kaden being the softy that he is, Em always finding her way back, and Ara being the foundation for the whole crew. I loved that we were more focused on the other characters and not just Ara this time. I loved the Creations’ perspective and how they played into this entire plot. I really enjoyed this book and I am HEARTBROKEN that it ends here!

I would love a Sam spin-off, to be honest. I need more details about the after!

This has been a great dystopian series and The Last Creation was the conclusion to Ara, Kaden and Sam's story. Similar to the previous books, the world building and character development were well written. There were so many moments throughout the book where I was at the edge of my seat with all the action. For the final book in the trilogy, it nicely tied up all the loose ends in the plot line from the last book. The ending was a bit emotional and I felt as though it was a little abrupt and left me wondering what happens next instead of feeling like the series is at an end. Overall though, it was a great read and I recommend reading this trilogy.

I absolutely loved the first book in the series. However, I wasn’t as entranced by the last 2 books. Possibly because I read them on wattpad and they needed MUCH more editing. I enjoyed the story and all of the different perspectives. My biggest complaint is the ending, because I feel like it wasn’t enough for me, and there needed to be one or two more chapters. With that said, I would still be really excited to see these books continue to get published in print and made into a tv show or movie.

Finally read this one!

Book 3; a good ending to the trilogy. I enjoyed it. I got to meet the author during a book signing and Q&A two years ago, and definitely enjoyed that, and heard her inspiration for her novels .

Also, I don't know if fun is the right word, but thinking and truly picturing (I'm from here, and have been to many of the places mentioned) a post apocalyptic Boise, Idaho is definitely intriguing.

This trilogy was just…chefs kiss. I thought it might have lost me when it got a little sci-fi but I instead became enthralled. I was always thinking about this book until I could finish it!!! Loved the characters, the plot, the growth, the depth, the sheer amount of content.
My favorite part about the last book in particular is how greatly written Sevyns perspective is! It genuinely feels like it’s written by an unearthly creature and not a human author. Definitely will be checking out more from this author!!

Thank you, NetGalley, for the ARC of The Last Creation! I'm so grateful to have received an early copy of this book. I’m glad I got to witness Kaden and Ara’s adventure come to an end. Both characters go through significant hardships, but in the end, everything works out despite the challenges they face along the way. I really enjoyed the book; the setting and writing were good. However, the ending left me wanting more—what was that ending? I wish there had been more closure for the characters!

I really loved this series! I enjoyed and looked forward to each book more each time. I loved the full circle moments from the beginning to the end too. Adding perspectives to each book gave me something new, yet intriguing to look forward to as well! This was a fantastic conclusion to this dystopian sci-fi read! The journey wasn't always easy but it was definitely worth it! It was interesting to see how each character changed and grew throughout the series. It's sad to see this series go but the ending was perfect and I don't feel like I'm missing anything which is great! This was an interesting, entertaining and enjoyable read!

I love The Last She Series, but this book felt rushed, and I wasn't thrilled with the ending. If this truly is the final installment, it should have provided a more definitive conclusion rather than setting up each character for another adventure. It felt like we were denied a proper goodbye to the characters. Without the last few paragraphs, I might have felt more satisfied. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I really enjoy this dystopian books series. Unique storyline, well written, thoughtful characters, and interesting plot lines.

My ONLY qualm.. why’d they have to bring god into it? Perfectly good books, why ruin them with pro Christianism propaganda? To each their own I suppose, not for me but may be the highlight for another person.
