How I snagged a Halloween date with a real

Step 1: Mixed up a batch of spiked punch using a recipe I found in my grandmother’s non-magical cookbook. Well, most likely non-magical. How’s a girl to tell for sure?

Step 2: Watched my sister over-indulge on said punch and barf into our grandmother’s definitely magical cauldron.

Step 3: When the demon appears, ignore him. Or maybe mistake him for a guy who is very committed to his cosplay. And to his abdominal workouts.

Step 4: Wait for the kidnapping.

Step 5: Avoid the kitsune who shows up to try and save me, even if he is just as hot as the demon.

Step 6: See what kinds of sexy hijinks follow! And stop looking so worried, I’m sure the demon isn’t saying he actually devours humans. It was probably a euphemism. Or an exaggeration.

I have mixed feelings about this particular installment. Some of the set up was fun, like Zan being the “destroyer”. But that joke got old after it was told soooooo many times. The 3 of them were cute together tho. They had some good sexy times and the empathy/telepathy bond was kinda cool.

Summoned on Halloween is part of the multi-authored series Monstrous Mistakes. It is a steamy, polyamorous, forced-proximity, opposites-attract, whimsical, paranormal, Halloween themed romance. Agnes is a witch who is having a Halloween party to try and get her introverted twin, Tabitha, to date. Through a series of events, a hunky demon, Zan, is summoned by her sister. He has been in hibernation due to crimes. Now, Touji, a male kitsune, appears to try and capture the demon. Both male leads want Agnes and will need to share! I'm a huge fan of Kristin Lance, and this did not disappoint. Expect hot chemistry with lots of steamy goodness, lots of laughs, and a very happy ending.

This short Halloween novella was much more dynamic than I was thinking. The story, characters, and romance were all really great. Agnes is throwing a Halloween Party and trying to set up her shy sister. The party is interrupted when a guy in a very convincing demon costume crashes the party. While Agnes is trying to deal with this demon dressed guy another guy shows up and all three of them fall through a portal. Now that the three are stuck together in a stranded location they have to work together to make it back. Being stuck together causes a lot of tension and when things start to happen it may end up being more than just a fling. The characters in this book were my favorite part. All three of them were uniquely different but could also relate to each other. The tension between them was palpable and really added to the build up. The dynamic between the three of them was really fun to read and I really enjoyed it. The spice was very unique and definitely steamy. This quick read is great for Halloween if you enjoy poly romance, paranormal characters, telepathy during sexy times, bonded mates, mm spice, and intriguing side characters.

This is a well written Halloween story with strong characters in Agnes, Zan and Touji. The author does a great job developing the story and paints her scenes perfectly. She takes you into their lives with magic, romance, a steamy chemistry and a fun playful banter. She tells the story in the tri-POV, moves the story fluidly , delivering an entertaining read.

4.25 stars. Agnes, the female human witch lead, orchestrated a Halloween party to get her introverted twin on a date but, when her twin accidentally summons a demon, she’s not sure how to handle the situation.

Zan(graxoth), the male demon lead, has been in forced hibernation for a century and a half as punishment for crimes. Awakened, he’s desperate to engage with the world, starting with Agnes!

Touji, the male kitsune lead, is part of realm enforcement and on standby because it’s Halloween and everyone has to be. When he’s allocated demon control, he’s frustrated and unsure how to proceed. Seeing Zan about to abscond with Agnes, he uses an artifact to keep them in the earthly realms but accidentally sends them to a remote snowy mountain.

Zan knows exactly what he wants to do in this space. Can he convince Agnes and Touji that they want to, both now and always?

This novella is tri POV, well written, and a sweet and erotic, forced proximity, contemporary fantasy romance. I enjoyed Agnes shock at her own magic, as well as her joy in exploring it. I enjoyed Zan’s enthusiasm and mischief, and his willingness to be vulnerable in search of life partners. I enjoyed Touji’s slow lowering of emotional barriers, and his gradual willingness to be part of a relationship. I enjoyed the erotic scenes and relationship building. I enjoyed the interpersonal power dynamics, and the playfulness between characters. I was amused by the banter and the genuine fun the characters had. I enjoyed the ending and the potential for another story.

Summonded on Halloween by Kriston Lance is a fun, quick read which packs plenty of spice. Agnes throws a party on Halloween where her sister, not realizing she has powers in witchcraft, accidentally summons Zangraxoth, a male demon. Touji, a realm enforcer and kitsune, follows Zan to ensure that he does not harm any humans. Seeing Zan fleeing with Agnes thrown over his shoulder, Touji attempts to prevent Zan from transporting to another realm. This attempt only manages to get the 3 of them transported to Switzerland in a snowstorm. During their time forced into close proximity with one another, Agnes learns about her abilities as a witch, and the 3 embark on a path of sexual discovery together.

This book was well written and had a decent level of spiciness. Zan's fun, outrageous behavior was humorous and made the book. I also enjoyed reading as Agnes explored her capabilities in magic and witchcraft. Touji's character felt a bit flat and forced to me which was mildly distracting. Overall, I would give this book a 4.4 stars out of 5. A solid read, especially during the Halloween season.

I really enjoyed this book. It was such a fun read. Agnes was trying to throw a Halloween party and cheer up her sister in the process. Except her sister gets sick from the punch as the party begins, a very realistic- and very sexy- demon is suddenly in her kitchen wanting to devour her, and then she is thrown over his shoulder as he runs out the door. Touji is a kitsune shifter and was ordered to track down the demon Zangraxath that had crossed over the veil via a summoning, though he worked tracking down antiques not demons. Touji's interference with Zan's portal led them to Switzerland of all places, and to a small chalet with only one bed.

I really liked the banter between Zan and Touji- mostly from Zan directed at Touji- and there wasn't a dynamic of enemies or danger between them. I really loved the chemistry between the two males and how that precipitated everything. And the one who took control wasn't who I thought. Very sexy. This was definitely a fun read. Now I want the story for Agnes' sister Tabitha, and Sam and Kaito! 4 stars.

As Agnes, kitsune G.U.I.L.D. agent Touji (H), and Zan get trapped in a whirlwind of supernatural mishaps, their lives become anything but ordinary. What starts as a freak accident soon grows into an unlikely romance as Agnes finds herself caught between a cheeky demon and a no-nonsense kitsune, both of whom want more than just her attention and things quickly heat up for the trio. But love isn’t their only challenge, as the authorities are after Zan and there's a mysterious prophecy in play, and Agnes, Touji, and Zan will need more than magic to make it through together. Sweet and steamy RH MMF ménage romance, with plenty of laughs, exploring, love, adventure, insecurities, connection, and family.

This was probably one of funniest, sexiest, and meant to be Halloween HEA I've ever read.

You have a regular mortal who doesn't understand her family witch heritage is a real thing. She doesn't expect to have summoned a demon, or the one meant to save her, or be transported to the Swiss Alp's.

The humor, balent boldness of Zan is great. You can't help but roll your eyes at Kai's need for rules, or Agnes's suprise at the telepathic connection she makes with these two men. They say it's a prophacy, but it her HEA.

If you are looking for a good spice level, some real humor, and a touching HEA....here you go!!!!! Kristin knows how to channel the connection between people, and make you eat it up as she goes!

This book was an absolute delight, brimming with spice and humor. Every character added their own charm, but Zan, one of the main male characters, truly shone as the heart of the narrative. His mischievous antics, befitting of his demonic nature, were a constant source of amusement. The story was filled with hearty laughter and tender moments that gave you all the warm fuzzies. With minimal angst, it offered a refreshing "Why Choose" romance where love knows no bounds. If polyamory isn't your cup of tea, this might not be for you. But for those who revel in love's boundless nature, this is a tale to savor. I'm eagerly anticipating diving into the rest of the series and would gladly revisit this story for another round of fun.

I want to say 4.5 ⭐️ because it really was a good time!

Well what a fun story this was!! I looove the character Zan, he’s so funny and cheeky and the banter is adorable.
I enjoyed this storyline with the throuple being telepathically entwined during their sexual encounters, how incredibly jealous I am that us mere humans can’t experience it for ourselves.
The sweetness between these characters had me smiling constantly. I am left really curious about what happens next with the new sister entering the story, it feels a little charmed. I hope there will be more to this story and I look forward to them all saving the world, one sexual encounter at a time 😉

Whipping Up Monsters . . .

The author is about to stir up an amusing Halloween storyline involving a demon (Zangraxath the Destroyer), a foxy kitsune (Touji), and a witch (Agnes Tuttle, who insists she is not a witch but merely has witchy ancestors). The fun will begin when Agnes stirs up her spiked punch in the cauldron using a recipe from her witchy grandmother’s “normal” cookbook. Will her unknowing actions cause her a bit of trouble as Zan plans to kidnap her and Touji isn’t quite sure how to protect her? And will she survive Halloween?

Agnes's Halloween party is not going according to plan. With her sister drinking too much and being sick, Agnes finds herself being kidnapped by a man dressed as a demon, or is he? When the kidnapping is disrupted by an agent of the GUILD, they find themselves stuck in a cabin in the Swiss Alps. Their connection is off the charts and they discover just what they mean to each other and Agnes finds out that magic can come in many forms. I loved this book. Witty, very hot and steamy and lots of action, you will struggle to put this book down. Great characters and a great storyline.

This is a spicy fun MMF monster romance! The female characters are "human" but do they also have magical powers? During a Halloween party Agnes' sister accidentally summons a demon named Zan. Then a kitsune named Touji shows up to try and reign in the demon. The three accidentally get transported to Switzerland where it's freezing cold. Maybe the only way to keep warm is body heat! That's when it gets really spicy! This is a cute fast fun Hallloween story with a sprinkle of spice and good to help you get ready for Halloween season.

Agnes hosts a Halloween party but finds HEA for herself and sister Tabitha

Tabitha is a withdrawn anti date kind of person and proceeded to drink some liquid courage. Unfortunately Agnes mixed a potion not a non alcoholic sipable. Demon Zan is accidentally summoned and makes off with Agnes over his massive shoulder. Agent Touji, a kitsune is totally out of his depth trying to capture a demon. Mischief ensues and sexual tension is off the charts when these three arrive at an isolated Swiss chalet.

A Demon, An Agent and A Witch Fall Through A Portal…

Agnes just wants to have a great Halloween party, including having her sister meet a great guy. But when a demon (or two) are accidentally summoned, things go wildly sideways. Zangraxath the Destroyer is thrilled to be summoned, so he scoops up Agnes and makes a run for it, Agent Touji Inoue, a half-kitsune, hot on their heels. This story was a hoot - I loved Zan’s puppy dog / himbo vibe, Touji’s broody / hurt smouldering, and Agnes’ seamless fit into a three-way relationship. A steamy-yet-warm-fuzzy read.

This book had a cute relationship and good spice - I especially loved the kitsune shifter which isn't something I've read a lot of in monster romance.

My issue with this was that the dialogue was choppy and cringe and the characters were flat to me. The spice was really the only redeeming thing for me with this book which is a bit of a bummer but it was a fast paced read so there's that

This novella was spicy, cute, and so funny. There were quite a few errors, mostly typos, that detracted from the reading experience a bit. I wonder if the wrong file was finalized and uploaded… worth a check, if not a proofreader edit.

I loved how sweet Zan was and Touji’s dominant streak was delicious. I’d never imagined that an Agnes could be a femme fatale before, so there you go. She can.

Agnes was throwing a Hallowwen party until a demon and a kitsune showed up. Now they are stuck in cabin in the middle of nowhere with only one bed. This was short and fun especially Zan and his unfiltered mouth.

This was such a fun Halloween story and I love that it went the threesome way ;P Agnes, Zan and Touji come together after a 'monstrous' mistake at her Halloween party and end up going on quite the adventure together. The banter was fun and I loved the telepathy bond. Expect an entertaining reading ride filled with magic, humour, monsters and hot romance as they work their way to a fab HEA :D

Everything you need in a poly spicy Halloween love story. I live how Zan and Touji are so different and how it takes a minute for Agnes to work iut whats going on. The characters are strong and the story is engaging, funny and the spice is 🌶🌶🌶. This is about Zan (demon), Touji (kitsune) and Agnes. Agnes is a witch but doesn't know it. Zan comes and says that he will destroy Agnes (he means in the sexy way). Touji is an agent sent to send Zan back home.

They end up figuring out they are all compatible with each other. This story is a fast paced Halloween novella in a series called Monstrous Mishaps.
