My friends think I’m exaggerating when I tell them the two brawniest guys I’ve ever met rescued me from an alligator in a dark Florida swamp. If anything, I’ve underplayed how amazing it felt to get swept up in their arms. To prove they’re real, I’ve invited them to our annual Halloween bash. Only problem is, the guys live way off the grid and only communicate by fax. Have you ever sat by a fax machine waiting for a response? I don’t recommend it. But somehow, I’m willing to go that extra mile to see H and V again. It’s not just their rippling muscles or glittering eyes. They seem like genuinely good people, and the fact that I’m having wild fantasies about bedding them both doesn’t hurt either.

I know we’re supposed to avoid contact with humans, but Genie is hard to resist. Since rescuing her from that pesky lizard, my mate V’Nity and I can’t stop thinking about her sunny personality, generous curves, and dubious judgment. Plus, being with her helps our mission to understand humans better. That’s why we’re back from Water Planet 12 to attend her party. V’Nity feels the same pull towards Genie that I do, but he’s worried things will go wrong. We could end up imprisoned or worse if we get caught by the authorities. I haven’t told V’Nity yet, but I think Genie might make a perfect third mate. Hopefully we survive long enough to find out.

Kinda meh imo. Genie had some interesting traits, with her whole “intuition” thing, and was super open to hooking up with a couple aliens, even after figuring out they weren’t human. The 2 guys were cute and I liked that they were anthropologists. It wasn’t a bad story, just not super good.

Took me 3 days to get through the 80 page book 🙃🥲

MMF with an established MM pairing first, but we have nothing but a FTB scene at the beginning between the buys. So technically swords cross, we just don’t see it happening. 👎🏼

Overall, meh. The chase scene was too drawn out. The guys didn’t seem to have distinct personalities (or, at least, their personalities completely switched for no reason).

There was some femdom and switch dynamics teased, but wasn’t enough time to actually explore it.

Also, what’s up with the cat??

Genie goes geocaching and finds two Alien heros

V'nity and H'ven save her from a gator in the Florida swamp. Genie failed to notice their alien features but she did invite them to a Halloween party complete with costumes. Things take a turn to the amorous zone when she begins to read their emotions. The escape trackers and run off to seal their union complete with a car she helped them escape. Now Genie sends her Grandma faces and helps the guys with their anthropology studies of Earthlings.

Lola Blix’s Mates for Halloween is a fast paced romance featuring human female Geneva, aka Genie, and the two males she met a while back when she was geo cashing in a swamp and nearly eaten by a gator. Now her “friends” are having a Halloween party and don’t believe that two hot guys are interested in their plain friend. Genie faxes the men and wonders if they’ll show up. She’s facing bullying by her “friends” if they don’t show. When the two turquoise males show up, she and they are instantly ready for some alone time and get a room, but someone has ratted them out and now alien hunters are after them! What an adventure!

An entertaining story that held my interest, it is well written with a very good storyline. it is part of the Monstrous Mistakes, I want to read more in this series. Quick, fun, and steamy

Even though this was a quick read, only 89 pages, it was super fun to read. Two aliens are coming down to earth to do research and they save Genie from being eaten by an alligator. She tells her friends over and over and they don’t believe she actually saw these two tall, sexy men or that they carried her to safety. Her friends ask her to invite them to the Halloween party coming up and she is surprised they actually show up. They immediately realize she is their third mate and end up in a room somewhat completing their bond. But her “friend” calls hunters and the aliens get her and themselves out of danger to her grandmothers house. She then has to make a choice and she chooses her heart. It was fun, sexy, and interesting to read and I really enjoyed it.

Genie was rescued by V’Nity and H’Ven but she just can't make anyone believe her. Everyone just brushes it off and as a seeming joke dare her to get them to come to a Halloween party as proof that they exist. It is very light hearted, with a little bit of instalove and actually rather sweet. I loved how they had to communicate and it was good to read something where there wasn't too much angst.

I enjoyed this book. It turned out to be a fun adventure. I liked Genie, H'Ven, and V'Nity. The guys were cute trying to fit in with humans. The chemistry between the three of them was thick. Then some unexpected fast-paced action. And Genie has a decision to make. I also liked Genie's psychic Grammy. 4 stars.

Good short Halloween story

I definitely recommend reading this story, its the perfect short about Halloween to get you in the mood! Its about a girl who is saved by 2 aliens, but didn't know, and then they come back to join her at a Halloween party, then go from there. A little spice too 😁🔥

This is a short, very good, well written, Alien/Human romance. Genie was rescued from an alligator in the swamp by two big, strong men and can contact them by Fax only. H’Van and V’Nity are bonded aliens looking for their third. Genie invites them to a Halloween party and is having a good time when they become hunted. Read how they escape.
