With a little help from Wonder Woman and the Flash, the World's Greatest Detective will stop these criminals in their icy tracks. Perfect for beginning readers and Super Hero fans, Batman Winter Wasteland is a Level Two I Can Read book, geared for kids who read on their own but still need a little help.
Donald Lemke works as a children's book editor. He has written dozens of all-age comics and children's books for Capstone, HarperCollins, Running Press, and more. Donald lives in St. Paul, Minnesota with his beautiful wife, Amy, toddling toddler, Cleo, and a not-so-golden retriever named Paulie.
When my son saw the cover of this novel, he immediately stated that he didn't like the cold. As we began reading, it quickly escalated from a hot summer day into the coldest winter night.
In this short-story, I quickly learn of a new trio that I have never heard from, and this team wanted to freeze the entire world. Luckily for Batman, for he was trapped in a car (frozen), Flash appears followed by Wonder Woman to free him from his icy fortress.
Batman novels by Super DC Heroes are clean and wholesome. I never have to worry about what my child my hear and learn when reading these novels to him, they never disappoint and I am always able to say that justice prevails through every trial that the hero must face.
Great for readers from 4 to 7. I enjoyed the details and the fact that the people really had personalities that are very thoughtful . And great ending for readers
This was cool. Heh. Mr. Freeze teams up with two other ice-powered villains (I won't spoil the guessing game!) and Bats has to call upon some very talented friends for help.
