Beck made a stuttering sound, and for a second Tex thought that he was waking up.
This is not fluffy cute incest, it's devious plotting with a fuckton of (noncon) drugged somnophilia. Very detailed drawn-out scenes. The same MCs from Daddy Dearest (which is free rn on SW). This goes to the top of my favorite somno list.

This was the most delicious descent into debauchery I have ever read-
“Family Affair” feeds every somno, mindbreak, oral, and taboo kink you can picture to a gluttonous extent, with such an intense focus on the sensations of pleasure and guilt, realization and rationalization, and the indulgence the extreme that every encounter is elevated to artistic levels.

“Family Affair” is the most captivating read I’ve had in some time and I cannot recommend it enough for anyone that ways to slide deeper into the darkest depths of such sick pleasures.

Tex knew if he let this happen, it would taint Beck forever. Even if Beck didn't know what had happened, it wasn’t something that could be undone. Tex would know, the universe would know. But no one else had to, a dark part of his mind whispered.

Holy shit, this was freaking hot. I really loved the prequel, which is free on SW, so I was looking forward for this one, it definitely delivered on every aspect.
This one is a taboo erotica novella. As usual with D. Dove, we got some of the elements that their readers are used to, but with a sweet type of ending this time. The writting flows well and the sex scenes were absolutely amazing. I'm glad that this sequel is way longer in comparison, it had the necessary amount of pages to develop a good tension, the build up to the climax was really well done, I was at the edge of my seat.
I loved the combination of the manipulate dad and his needy son. Can't lie, I expected this to be darker due to the 6 dove rating because I thought it'd have something like heavier/more fucked up noncon or even an ending with coercion, but nope. I'm still glad D. Dove went into this direction, although I'm still hoping for a darker father/son from them like in Pay to Play.
Overall, this was a really good erotica, full of many blowjob scenes, nicely wrapped up with a HEA.

Just beyond that was another sound, and it took Tex a second to place it. It was choking. The sound of a small mouth and a delicate throat doing its best to handle a grown man’s cock.I was reading Danse Macabre & there was a quick flashback scene of twins forced to make a "video" so that got me thinking I hadn't read a good twin book lately which lead me on a quick trip to Smashwords where I discovered this sequel of Daddy Dearest so I became $4.99 less rich & started to read this book but got bored & realized I still hadn't found a twin book but then I remembered I needed to update WickedWhims in Sims4 which reminded me I could make twins in Sims4 & assign the ince$t trait so that sidetracked me for awhile.
Anyway, several hours later I finally finished this book which was Ok but I expected it to be a lot spicier :/ It had a ton of build up, which I like, but this was excessive, for what I think was too little reward. We got a not too graphic short sex scene, a lot of glory hole(boring to me), and a couple of bj scenes which weren't very enjoyable because the MCs kept inner monologue-ing.
But yeah, I'm very happy these two got their HEA - after the first book I was worried!

Make no mistake, I am a proud self-proclaimed D Dove fan. I have issues and I've accepted them. This book however...I don't know. It didn't really work for me.
I think my biggest confusion is that it's rated at a six but it feels closer to a five, dare I say even a four. It just didn't feel as dark and twisted as level 6 books are. Even the HEA didn't feel as toxic as I was anticipating. I'm not saying the book was sweet, but it had sweet moments that didn't feel unwanted or dubious like happens in Forced (highly recommend btws).
The other thing about this book is that it takes so long, and I do mean LONG, to go anywhere. D Dove can get wordy and their pacing a little wonky but this was...mama, I've seen molasses move faster. I'm not someone opposed to tension and build up but I don't need it in a dark erotic romance. Especially when I read the first story which moved very quickly.
All in all, it's not bad. The writing is never bad and the stories are always interesting enough. I just was expecting something darker. Give me a full mind break or a total brainwash. Is that too much to ask?

Daddy Affair lo leí por pura curiosidad, por venderse diferente y también por ver iba a hacer el autor con una historia tan fuera de lo común. Pero, sinceramente, después de pasar las primeras páginas, sentí que el libro se quedó viviendo en lo sexual y no salió de ahí. Todo era encuentro tras encuentro, con muy poco que hiciera avanzar realmente la historia. Y lo peor es que uno espera que en algún momento pase algo que te deje como: “coño, ¿y ahora qué?”, pero no.
Al final, para mí fue un libro más escandaloso por el tema que interesante por cómo está escrito. No hubo un verdadero clímax, ni un giro que me provocara intriga, ni una situación que me hiciera sufrir como lector. Era como: pasa esto, después esto, después otra vez lo mismo… y seguimos. 😂 Lo terminé más por saber cómo carajo iba a terminar que porque la historia me tuviera agarrado. Mucho tabú, mucho atrevimiento y mucha cosa rara, pero narrativamente me dejó bastante frío.

The author even says in the blurb it's a "toxic HEA", and I don't even want to know what that means. Even the writing made my stomach churn when we were in the dad's head.
This book is only for people interested in non-con/dub-con, and really, really twisted, toxic plots (not that there was any plot).

Wow… this was hotter than daddy’s competition and more provocative imo. I do like Nate’s caring nature though, it is a change from all these… rough men in these kind of stories.
