About the author

Juan-David Nasio (or J.-D. Nasio) is a psychoanalyst in Paris and former member of the Ecole Freudienne of Jacques Lacan.
Nasio was born in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina. After qualifying as a doctor Nasio completed his residency as a psychiatrist at the hospital in Lanús. He emigrated to France in 1969 where he worked with Jacques Lacan. He was a professor at the University of Paris VII Sorbonne for 30 years from 1971 and is considered one of the foremost commentators on Lacanian psychoanalysis. He was the first psychoanalyst to be inducted into the prestigious French Legion of Honor. In addition to participating in Lacan's seminars and translating his Écrits into Spanish, he has authored numerous books in French and Spanish, and he is the director of the Seminaires Psychanalytiques de Paris, a major center for psychoanalytical training and the dissemination of psychoanalytical thought to nonspecialists.

نمیدونم به خاطر ترجمه بود یا کتاب به سطح بالاتری از اطلاعات درباره‌ی روانکاوی نیاز داشت ( حدس خودم اینه که قدری از جفتشون ) به هر حال کتاب در عین جذاب بودن موضوع، برام غیر قابل فهم بود. و خب از اونجایی که کلی کتاب هست که باید بخونم نتونستم وقتی براش بزارم و کنار گذاشتمش.

Ni soy psicólogo ni psicoanalista. Soy un pobre weon(estoy con fiebre) que vio esti en un video hace dos años, lo dejo al tercio, le quedaban pocos libros por leer y decidió terminarlo. Creo que es muy interesante para hacerse una idea de la naturaleza del amor, el deseo y la pérdida. Aún así, que manera de hablar weas tiene froid y lacan. No entendí la mitad de las cosas que decían, tampoco lo buscaba, estaba leyendo esta obra como si fuera ficción, de forma más ligera, pq de verdad se me jozo muy denso. También sirve para practicar lectura.

It totally changes the way you think of love. The beloved one is the one who makes you feel unsatisfied, but that's not wrong. Indeed, that's really helpful cuz doesn't let you go mad. It explains the causes of pain, that in any case is psychic. I broadly recommend it!

Es un gran libro pero la verdad es que el lenguaje es muy complicado. Por ello no pongo 5 estrellas, y deberían ser 4.5.

Es un libro que se disfruta al poder entender a través de las palabras del doctor Nasio, externalidades que uno sabes que existen y siente, pero no sabemos cómo expresarlas a través del lenguaje. Y ahí se encuentra lo importante de este libro, la verdad es que es muy bueno, lo recomiendo leer de manera lenta y quizá con chat gpt a la mano para ir entendiendo conceptos que no sean fáciles o conceptos que quieran inclusive relacionar con situaciones de su vida.

هر از دست رفتنی و از دست دادنی که موجب رنج ذهنی میشه رو به عشق نسبت به اون شئ نسبت داده ، نگاه جالبی نسبت به عشق و درد از دست دادن بود. و اینکه خوب بودن همه چیز به معنی به هم خوردن تعادل روانی هست یا اینکه سوگواری نصفه نیمه میتونه چه عواقبی در نا خودآگاه آدم داشته باشه رو به شکل روانکاوانه، نه روانشناسانه و تجاری بیان کرده . کتاب سنگینی نسبتا بود ولی ترجمه با کیفیتی هم نداشت.

No pude terminarlo. A pesar de creer que es información súper valiosa, el autor utiliza un lenguaje sumamente difícil de digerir, algunas partes que leí, las tuve que releer para entender a lo que se refería.
Es una lectura bastante pesada.

I have no idea whether this is right - fascinating -

The image of the lost person must not be effaced, on the contrary it must prevail until the moment when - thanks to mourning - the mourner succeeds in causing the love for the deceased and the love for a new one to coexist. When this coexistence of the old and the new is established in the unconscious we can be certain that what is most important in the process of mourning is underway.

apesar de o autor ser muito didático, requer um repertório mínimo de psicanálise.
