A beautiful puzzle book for anyone of any age, the artwork is so beautiful you'll enjoy staring at it without even doing the puzzles.
The puzzles are very good though, with a mix of different styles to keep it from getting boring.

I can't recommend this book enough.

This was such a fun gothic puzzle book!
My favourite thing was actually the illustrations which were utterly incredible. It is basically like a gothic Where's Wally but MUCH harder. So hard in fact that I failed two of the puzzles...I just couldn't get them!
Amazon states that this book is for 12 years and up and I think that is about right, although they still may need some help on some of the puzzles as they weren't the easiest. One in particular I couldn't understand so that is why I can't give more than 4 stars.
Also a few of the clues for the puzzles were on the page fold which made things a bit difficult when I couldn't see half of the item etc. I think that should have been thought about when placing key items.
However, it is such a well thought out book with each puzzle to Escape Dracula's Castle based around anothet creepy story. Really imaginative and a perfect Halloween activity for the family! Definitely recommend for puzzle lovers!

Please note that I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

Escape Castle Dracula by Sam Fern, intricately illustrated by Adam Allori, makes a great companion piece to Tales of the Damned. This book is a Gothic puzzle adventure for horror fans of all ages (middle grade upwards). The setting is Dracula's castle and an introduction by vampire hunter Van Helsing asks the reader to solve a series of challenging logic and observational puzzles based around classic Gothic stories, in order to escape the clutches of the Count and his vampiric lady friends.

These are excellent fun and reference a lovely range of stories, from The Strange Case of Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stephenson, The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, and even Shakespeare's Macbeth. The puzzles do not require prior knowledge of the stories (younger readers are unlikely to know most of them), but they are definitely more entertaining if you do know about the plots and characters involved. Many of them are pretty tricky to solve, which gives you lots of time to take in all the incredible detail in the pictures!

Beautifully illustrated but I didn't enjoy the puzzles at all. Mostly boring searches and some I didn't even understand.
