This was a very entertaining read. Not as serious as other comedian biographies I’ve read this year, and so it didn’t seem to go deep, but it did. I’ve enjoyed all of Leigh’s work on TV and reading behind the scenes has shown how down to earth the man is, and ready to be there for all his friends, and humans in general.
I’m sure this will sell well for Christmas and I look forward to his next instalment.
Leigh Francis is the man that many people think is actually Keith Lemon, but no. Keith is just one of the fantastic comedy characters that this man plays. Reading this book, and learning all about the man behind all the faces was a real privilege. Fantastic book. I Really enjoyed it.
The Audio book is a must as Leigh narrates his story perfectly. I was howling and messy crying. It was so good to get some background to his work. He really is the gift that keeps giving us the funny! Oooossshhh #legend
Listened on audible. Ok but a bit dull. Reads a bit like someone’s childhood diary. A few interesting stories, but no gossip and no big laughs. Leigh Francis is overwhelmingly nice about everyone and comes across as a genuinely lovely guy who adores his wife. Mildly entertaining.
