5 fan-bloody-tastic stars!

This read was incredible. It had me in awe and intrigued. It just had me…

God, he wanted to worship her, every inch of her perfectly smooth, beautiful skin.

Logan Savage and his (hot alpha male) siblings own Savage Security. A security agency that helps protect those in immediate danger and let me tell you he is one hot son of a gun! He’s steamy and a wet dream just waiting to happen! Every female and male readers will definitely want a Logan of their own. Seriously, I have to have one of these scrumptious male specimens!

She was falling in love with him. She had nothing to compare it to, she’d never loved another man but she knew, without a doubt she was falling.

Zoe Alcott is a strong and independent CEO. The author, right off the bat, shows us what this successful woman has achieved. She’s not some weakling to boss around but a stubborn person with a fantastic mind! Even with all the imminent threats appearing she still wants to be independent and make it on her own. She’s a kick-ass woman who thinks on her feet and I just love her character even more for these features.

“Baby, you have no idea how much I want you.”

Thoughts: Savage seduction surprised me in all the right places! I just love when an author can do that to me. I was honestly expecting a predictable storyline and besides knowing the villain from early on, this novel proved me wrong! I love when an author proves me wrong. This novel without a doubt impressed the hell out of me.

It was such a fluffy romance mixed with suspense, some thrilling components and a whole lot of action and it was incredible!
This didn’t just have its action and intrigue. No, it had some tender moments that made my heart break. At one point I felt like crying at such a bittersweet moment…

“I’m here baby, I’m here. I’m sorry. I’m so fucking sorry.”

This simple sentence here hit me harder than any other line in this gorgeous novel. It was so heartfelt and having read their journey from start to finish with everything they have gone through…a damn beautiful line. This scene made me feel for both Logan and Zoe. It made me feel desperately…


If I could I would rate this novel more than five. This novel deserves it. The storyline was impeccable, the realistic components met my expectations and the characters were thought out as if the author had targeted every reader she could. The author did a fantastic job. She held my attention from the beginning and made me enjoy the incredible journey I was on.

Recommended to anyone in the mood for some sweetness, romance and a whole lot of action.

So go on. What are you waiting for?

This is the first book in this series. I did like this book. Logan is the type of guy you want protecting you. Also, he is the type of guy you imagine when you read romantic thrillers. So you could say that I had an easy time warming up to Logan. Although, when it came to Zoe, it took a little longer. This is because for a successful woman, I thought she would have come out instantly, as a fighter. She did but not right away.

The storyline was fine. I did find it a little unbelievable that the police would allow Logan to move in with Zoe until her stalker was captured. Yet, it lent itself to the perfect situation for Logan and Zoe to get closer to one another. Which, their chemistry was hot. The second half of the story was where it picked up in intensity. I probably would check out the next book in this series as I would like to get to know the other Savage men better.

I have had such a wonderful time writing this first novel in the Savage Series.
When the idea of Logan Savage and his story first presented itself - I instantly fell in love with him. He is hard and stubborn and loyal, not to mention sexy as hell. And completely closed off. So naturally I had to do what was best for him and pair him with a woman who could give as good as she got - the completely irresistible and independent Zoe Alcott.
I smiled and frowned and laughed and adored every moment I spent writing Logan and Zoe’s story and the beginning of the Savage Series. I hope you fall just as deeply as I have!

This is an honest review in exchange for a copy

(Better late than never. My Kindle hasn't been downloading new books for the last few months.) I enjoyed the story. It kept the plot interesting enough to hold my interest from start to finish. And we're wondering through the whole of the book, what is going to happen to our two main characters, when Logan is no longer needed to protect Zoe.
The characters worked well and had great chemistry together. Left me very much looking forward to the next book.

Intense read with a suspenseful buildup throughout, a strong attraction between the two main characters slowly grows into a relationship while Logan is protecting Zoe. Neither talk about what happens after she is safe. I really enjoyed reading this it wasn't an author I had read before so had no idea if I would like it so was pleasantly surprised, it is a security base but the Savage family are all ex military or law enforcement of some kind. Logan's character is troubled by the things he went through while serving, not having been able to get himself past the darkness until he meets Zoe. Zoe is strong independent and has her own business, until she receives an odd note, which she perceives to be some kind of threat. This is really quite good and on a par with authors like Cristin Harber and Dale Mayer both of whom I read all the time, so if you like stories with suspense and a bit of mystery. Hot fit male characters with strong protective instincts as well as strong emotions then give this a read, there is some sexual content and also some violence near the end. I am on to book two now and happily looking forward to getting lost in what's to come.

She gets a threatening note and, as a local celebrity, the cops take it very seriously. Hiring a bodyguard for her, 24/7. Can she stand having strangers in her personal space?

He has never felt the way he does towards her. A client is off limits, and that's never been a problem before. Even his dog likes her, though. Can he keep his professional distance?

I laughed, cried and cheered. A strong heroine and stronger hero with a backing cast full of interesting and well written characters. It's suspenseful, it's romantic, its heart-wrenching, did I mention there's a dog?

As an independent reviewer for Romance Authors that Rock, I gave this one 5 full hearts for the tears I discovered on my cheeks more than once. The dog is well trained and smart and doesn't get hurt, so that was a plus! Sex scenes were steamy and erotic, emotional and fun. Definitely recommended and I'll be watching for the rest of these!!

I really enjoyed this story and think it is an amazing start for a new series
Logan Savage and his brothers run the Savage Security Company. The team is made up of a former soldier, a marine, police officer, private Investigator, and a special operations agent. Zoe is a CEO and owner of Harbor Press. One day after work while checking her mail she finds an odd envelope. It had a note that said "You're mine. Our time is now. I'm coming for you". This upsets her so much that Zoe contacts the police. The detective who answers the call leaves a couple of officers with her. Then he contacts Logan for help with the case. When Logan meets her he thinks she is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. Logan is not the usual type of man Zoe is drawn to, but he is the most attractive man she has met. Can Logan keep her safe? Will Zoe lose her heart to this sexy man?

I loved Zoe. She shows that females aren't weak and that we can stand up for ourselves (even thought she has protection) She's strong and that's something not many author put out there. Not all of us are weak and cry about a chipped nail or need to be saved constantly. While she does ask help she doesn't delve on it or act as if she is delicate which none of us truly are. Push the wrong buttons and you could push anybody of there limit. Logan was pretty cool to. He a bit cocky but what guy isn't. This story is full of mystery and waiting for the truth to unravel suffocated me. It has a lot of unexpected turns and I have to admit I totally shipped them from the begging. Her stalker was totally unexpected. While this story was pretty amazing it was missing a few things. I personally feel as if they should have showed more emotion in the begging and most of the time it seemed as if it was 3rd point of view the character mixed which was a bit annoying.

In an Oyster Shell -It was a provocative read with characters you found yourself rooting for. 

The Pearls - I like a suspense romance with the lead an ex-military man. They always tend to be interesting. Romantic suspense is a sub-genre that I don't read very often but do enjoy it very much when I do. This book is no exception. 

Logan Savage is an on-point alpha male who is struggling with keeping his professional life from getting personal. The struggle was tangible and delightful to read. He was a great character who had a great heroine in Zoe. The two were completely different but complemented each other well. 

The romance, of course, was the star of the show and was really fun. It was electrifying. The suspense in the romance was breath-taking. It kept me turning the pages.

This is part of the Savage Series and features Logan who runs the Savage Security Co with his family. They furnish services for many needs. The Savage family are great and you will fall in love with him just like I did. Logan is the main Savage featured in this book. He is hired to protect Zoe from a stalker and their attraction is hot and their chemistry is off the charts. A roller coaster of emotions and lots of suspense and danger. A great book with more to follow in this series. I received an advance copy from Exclusive Arc and voluntarily chose to review this book.

I normally don’t like books written in the third person, Savage Seduction is the exception. I enjoyed reading this sexy story about Logan and Zoe. This is a great read about a sexy Logan Savage protecting Zoe who has started receiving threatening letters. Savage Securities employs the sexy Savage brothers who protect and do recon missions. The chemistry that erupts between Logan and Zoe will keep you fixed to their story up until the very last page. I can’t wait for the next story in this series.

This was a sweet easy read with the two main characters sometimes fighting for dominance, both stubborn and both strong.

The plot was simple but still a very enjoyable read. The story is well written and the character interaction is smooth. A little repetitive in places but not enough to spoil the story.

I would recommend this book and I would definitely like to read more of this series.

This novel had an interesting plot with a couple of good twists here and there. The characters were largely believable, and the story clipped along at a decent pace. My main struggles as a reader had to do with grammar or word choice issues. And there were a couple of places where I got a little lost because of a poor transition or because I wasn't clear on which character's point of view I was getting. Overall, a good read. I'd be interested to see where J. Woods takes things in future books.

I found this story predictable and slow and it took me a bit to finish but overall I didn't mind it. I found that it was missing something and wish it had a bit more excitement in the storyline. The characters were likeable.

I absolutely loved this book. The writing is amazingly good and I was totally hooked. The romantic scenes were truly heartwearming, the steamy scenes were also very good and the moments when Zoe was in danger, I felt really scared. It's wonderful how the writer does this. I also liked how Zoe and Logan were two independent characters that complemented eachother. The last pages of the book before the epilogue were so beautiful I cried. And I do not do that often for a book.

How to differentiate between work and pleasure or...does he even want to or, more to the point, how can he resist.

These are strong characters and there are twists and turns involved that are quite unexpected.

I just love this, the first book in the Savage Series. I can't wait for more!

Raise your hand, if you weren't expecting this to be good, but ended up being good, and now want to convince more goodreaders to rate this, and show them that it really is good!



Ok so heres my 2 cents- This book DAYUMNN son, was not expecting to like it. Ask me why, just ask? It's because I'm like half the other female population on here when it comes to romance novels, where I see a rating that's not as high as I would like, so I decide to just add it to my to-read shelf...till God knows when! Come on, don't think I don't know who you are, there is a couple of us on here who do it.

That being said, this was such a cute romantic suspense. The story is about Zoe, a successful businesswoman who receives threatening letters from an anonymous source, which jeopardizes her safety. So in walks Mr. Logan Savage *swoon, can I get one? He is one of many, yea that's right this series is about a family of brothers, and yea sisters (which are bad-ass as well), but forget that, did I say 5 brothers? Hell yea! Logan, along with his siblings work for their own security company; Savage Security. Logan on occasion works alongside Vancouver PD and gets called in to help on Zoe's case. His job is to tail her every move, due to the threat she is in. Along the way, the two of them start developing feelings for each other, and I absolutely fall in love with them both. Zoe is such a sarcastic, independent, no-nonsense woman, which I absolutely loved. She isn't the type to depend on any man, until Logan that is. Throughout all the situations she was placed in, she never became the pathetic girl in danger, but rather a scared but still held her own type of bad-ass. Logan on the other hand, who doesn't love a bit of damaged goods to go along with some romance? But don't worry, it wasn't the typical hero who was abused type of scenario that has been a trend in books, it was just a tad dollop intertwined into the story. This story wasn't huge on the suspense factor, where you were guessing the whole way, but something that I wasn't really expecting did happen, which was enough for me.

I recommend this book, if you are looking for a light romantic-suspense with great characters. This is the first book in the series, and is technically a stand-alone bcas each book depicts a different sibling. I would suggest reading them in order ( there is only 2 out), bcas J. Woods does a fantastic job introducing many of the characters, which make you want to know their own stories. And yes I want to read the sibling with the, in the words of the author- "shit eating grin" Max's story. The epilogue gave a small glimpse into who the next book will be about and which sibling (Max), which i think is a smart move to get readers to continue on the Savage family journey.

This is the first time in reading this author but oh my so glad I did. I do so enjoy reading novels with this storyline, some being average but some turn out to be quite thrilling as this one did for me. The writing style of this author makes it that once you begin with the first page you find yourself immersed into the novel only coming up for the essentials or that thing like having to go to work. The characters she has breathed to life immediately grab you and carry you along with the story within. Logan is one fine man that alpha that has the intensity needed for what he has set out to do but also the persona that you would love to be the one to make him smile. He has this security company with his brothers and working also with the police department he is called upon to watch over someone who is being threatened who also has their own company but needs to be protected until they catch whomever. Zoe is that someone which happens to also be quite a character. Strong but also female too. Do not like those clingy types and so happy this author did not have her be one of those. Even so she is not happy about needing the extra security thank goodness she is not stupid enough to think she does not need it. Suffice to say this author gives you two characters you can really sink your teeth into. The storyline has a excellent plot and keeps you guessing all along the way which is a thumbs up in my book for intrigue, do not want it to be too easy to guess what will happen next. She also combines just the right amount of romance and heat bringing these two together building a relationship that goes beyond client and provider. Logan's family is also enjoyable reading with personalities that jump out at you. All and all so not to give anything away being it is a novel filled with intrigue, that after reading about Savage Security's main man Logan and the type of woman it took to bring his heart back to life is any indication of how this series will go I am going to be one of those impatient pete's waiting for the next one to come. What a great surprise! I'll be honest and just put it out there, I did not expect this book to be so good.

Moody alpha hottie and a strong heroine with a spine of steel. Thrilling suspense, secrets, engaging characters and steamy hotness. You'll not see the last twist of the story coming. In a way, it reminded me of Shayla Black's Wicked Lovers series (and that's a HUGE compliment).

This book was really good. I loved Zoe strong personality. She's a kick a$$ woman. Logan has a wounded soul, and Zoe is just what he needs. Here's a quote from the book ("You make me a better me, just by being you") This is why I enjoyed this book. That and it keeps you guessing to the very end. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series. I really recommend this book.
