Her curves and long lashes tease and taunt from her very own billboard where the desert meets the Las Vegas Strip. She’s the hottest stripper in town, known for her sultry and indecent moves coupled with her virginal eyes.
She’s a heady and unique combination, and a mystery to all who come to see her. Sienna captivates crowds nightly at the Electric Tunnel, leaving them wanting to know more about the sensual enigma. But no one ever sees beyond the heavily guarded stripper onstage. She is Sienna Flower 24/7.
No one other than her closest friend and boss, Asher Peterson, who helped turn a young and frightened girl into who Sienna is today. Together they created the sexual illusion known as Sienna Flower. They will go to any lengths to protect her image, which is why Sienna is convinced she must remain unattached and alone.
Like everyone else in Vegas, Sienna is hiding something and playing a role. A good girl in her former life, she was raised to be obedient and accepting of her fate, but there are some circumstances no one should be expected to accept. She escaped to a world light years away from the one she was subjected to…the Electric Tunnel.
Now she can never be anything other than Sienna Flower. Not only would she be hurt, but everyone around her would suffer the consequences.
That is, until she meets private detective Carson Graham, the dark and mysterious ex-FBI agent who watches her dance every weekend. With his dark hair and chocolate-brown eyes, Carson begins to heat Sienna’s heart and body, melting away the layers and secrets. Sienna doesn’t want to get attached to Carson, but when another man surfaces and starts hunting her down, bringing out the scars of her old life, she can’t help but seek comfort in Carson’s protection.
With everyone trading on the secrets of her past, Sienna finds herself caught in an awful web of lies. Her ultimate fear is hurting her friends at the Tunnel, but she doesn’t know who to trust. Namely, Carson. Is he good? Or bad? Does she have the luxury of finding out?

She’s been known to turn up the angst like cranking up the heat in the dead of winter. A devout coffee drinker and doughnut eater, Rachel spends way too many hours in local coffee shops, downing the aforementioned goodies while she plots her ideas.
As a side note, Blaufeld, also a long-time blogger and an advocate of woman-run anything, is fearless about sharing her opinion. She captured the ears of stay-at-home and working moms on her blog, BacknGrooveMom, chronicling her adventures in parenting tweens and running a business, often at the same time. My first book, so I have to give it 5 stars! Hope you get electrified and fall in love with Sienna and Carson as much as I did. Thank you to all of you who have read.... <3
Both broken, neither thinking they deserve anything good, anything to last .... until they found each other. The most romantic erotica I've read it a while, loved it, and a brilliant debut by the author.

4 Electrifying Stars
I hadn’t heard of this story, seen the cover, or read the blurb until the day I started reading it. Intrigued by the cover and blurb, I couldn’t wait to start Electrified. It’s one of those great erotic romances where the well-developed characters, both their pasts inexplicably entwined with their presents, grab hold you and keep glued to your kindle for the entire journey. As a debut author, Rachel Blaufeld exemplifies a great gift in connecting her characters to her readers. There wasn’t a moment in this book where a felt disconnected, where I wasn’t rooting for the main characters, disgusted at the villains, scheming with the secondary characters, or held captive by the creative plot.
As I was mystified by the characters and the story there were several spots of the story where the balance between past and present became inundated with justifications and rationalizations from both main characters on the choices they’ve made and the new choices they’re currently making. More than once I found descriptions of those justifications and of Sienna herself to be repetitive. The writing plot and characters wholly made up for those repetitive details.
Electrified holds the tale of Sienna Flower, good girl and honorable heroine disguised as an acclaimed Las Vegas stripper. Men and women alike come in droves for a glimpse at the illustrious Sienna all the while readers discover her life story as it slowly unfolds revealing a woman who’s overcome brutality to survive as the confident, beautiful woman she shows on stage. Carson Graham, an alpha hero to match an alpha hero, portrayed goodness and light to Sienna’s shadowed existence. Having overcome adversity himself, distancing himself from a solid foundation in his life he becomes somewhat unrecognizable to himself as his lust for Sienna grows. To the reader though, he becomes a great hero.
Independence, confidence, vulnerability all shine through these characters with rough emotional exteriors revealing light within them both making it impossible for the reader to deny their destined connection. The hero and heroine of Electrified fated to meet by an author with a voice I’m excited to hear more from electrified me from start to finish. This author takes a stereotype and blows it’s depictions out the water. She created a motley family of people who are kind, gentle, and loving in a world where most would recognize those types of families. It was beautiful to read. Another major highlight for me was the mysterious subplots working Asher Peterson, Sienna’s partner and best friend making it impossible for me not to pick up Smoldered and go back to the Electric Tunnel. Ms. Blaufeld's epilogue is another noteworthy pieces of the electric puzzle, filled with everything you want out of an epilogue of a story with characters you adore.
If you’re in the mood a romantic, erotic journey about acceptance and love, about a woman discovering the nuances of herself and a man destined to meet his match, filled with great main and secondary characters alike plus a unique, attention-grabbing plot check out Electrified.
i liked this book found it a lil slow at the begin but it was soooo good i really enjoyed it the overall story is great luvd how a sweet girl turned in2 a stripper an not just any stripper las vegas's most watched stripper sienna flowers luv the name;) an how this hot dark haired man watched just at the weekend he pulled her in from the start carson is 1 hot piece of ass i liked that there was lead up 2 what had happened 2 sienna an god so much did then u have carson he had a pass that made him not get close 2 women but when hes sienna he just cant help himself he just want this woman seinna an carsons sexual tension was strong an then when they got 2gether holy shit it was hot the last 25% of this book was great i hated 2 put it down an the endin was just what made this book good xxxx
Ok. I'm going to try to write this without coming across as being a total witch. It may work, it may not. We'll see.
Electrified frustrated me to no end. It had (has) such great potential but it just wasn't anywhere near as good as what it could have been.
I like the idea of the story. Woman runs away from a screwed up family and abusive husband to Vegas. The LAST place her super religious (borderline cult) family would think to look. Enter handsome customer, who happens to be a detective. Sparks fly. The suspense heats up (at least it SHOULD have) add in some hot sexy times and you've got yourself a good read. That just wasn't how it happened though. Here's what I read:
A LOT of blah blah blah telling telling telling. There is very little actual SHOWING of what's going on. It's almost all junk that's inside the main character's heads. It's a common pitfall for a lot of debut authors. This is where having good beta readers and an awesome editor help. (I can help with that Rachel, if you're interested message me!) What was worse than the telling telling telling? The fact that a lot of that telling was repetitive. I lost count of how many times the heroine reiterated the same thing chapter after chapter. Once or twice is fine. Any more is too much. There were quite a few scenes that I (as a beta reader) would have recommended being cut out all together. For example- we don't need a detailed description of every. Single. Dance that Sienna performs. That was valuable book space that could have been put to better use.
The plot was terribly predictable as well. Which isn't always a bad thing. Had the writing been a bit more action packed (again- the showing instead of the telling) I wouldn't have minded a predictable outcome. It's all about the journey in reading. If the journey is boring, it doesn't matter WHAT twist you throw at the end.
Speaking of... once we FINALLY got into some "live action" stuff (towards the end, I want to say around 80 or so percent) It was pretty darn good. Except for the fact that we waited 80% to get it and then it was cut a bit short. I liked the small twist thrown in about the husband. That was one I can say I definitely didn't see coming!
As far as grammar and whatnot- it was more or less on par. I wasn't cringing at misplaced punctuation or anything like that. So that's always a positive thing!
Overall... sigh... I don't know. I WANT to like it. And I do, I like the idea of it. I like the parts where we DID get to "see" things going on. But there was just wasn't enough of it for me.
In all seriousness though, Rachel, message me if you want to chat. I think you're following me on twitter as well. I'm very open to helping new authors out in any way I can!
My first book, so I have to give it 5 stars! Hope you get electrified and fall in love with Sienna and Carson as much as I did. Thank you to all of you who have read.... <3
Great one sitting read from first time author Rachel Blaufeld. Unlike most romantic erotica, Electrified is about the main character, Sienna's personal journey and not necessarily about her love story (although it's pretty great.) All of her characters are well-developed interesting and even thought-provoking. She brings up important themes in Electrified, which serve to enhance the depth of the novel.
The dirty bits have just the right amount of tension and lead-up, and actually serve the story as opposed to being the main focus. The main plot, while certainly implausible, is thoroughly believable. You'll learn to love these characters, root for them, and wish for their HEA.

Electrified by Rachel Blaufeld is book #1 in her new The Electric Tunnel series. Rachel is a new author and is coming onto the scene with a loud voice. This story captured me from the beginning and I couldn't put it down until it was finished.
Carson Graham, is an ex FBI agent turned private investigator. He thinks he has everything he wants and needs. Women, sex, travel and plenty of money; but when he begins to feel the pull of lust, want and need from a sexy exotic dancer, he begins to question everything, as his life changes forever.
Lila, aka Sienna Flower ran away seven years ago from a tormented past and became the most wanted exotic dancer in Vegas, as well as the country. Fighting against the need she is feeling after meeting a mysterious man who ignites the fires deep within her soul, Sienna is drawn to Mr. TDH.
This book was awesome! I really enjoyed reading about Sienna and Carson's story. It was a beautiful love story that survived many complications to come to a beautiful ending or I could say beginning for them! I felt so compelled by the characters and actually felt the pain and love that ignited within this couple. I look forward to reading the next book in this series. If you want a book to feed your soul, as well as desires...read this book! Way to Electrify me, Rachel. Grēta
Would I recommend this book: Yes! Would I read other books by this author: Yes! Rachel Blaufeld is an up and coming new author who is well worth the reading. She is tenacious in her writing and it shows by the beautiful story she has created. She’s definitely on my reading radar!!
***Received an ARC of this book from the Author in exchange for an honest review***
I was pleasantly surprised with Electrified. After reading the synopsis of Electrified, I was expecting a full blown erotica story. And while this book contained some panty melting scenes, sex wasn't the focus of the book. Electrified has a well thought out plot loaded with sexual tension and a hint of suspense. Throw in some well developed, yet damaged characters and you've got yourself one hell of a read.
The world knows her as Sienna Flowers. The hottest stripper in town, working in Vegas. But that's just a facade she uses to hide the broken and damaged woman. Running from a less that stellar past, Sienna has secured a wall around her heart. Her ultimate goal is to stay safe and that means no attachments or relationships. She very small but tight knit circle, including her business partner Asher. No one knows the full extent of Sienna's past but Asher knows the most and he will stop at nothing to keep her safe and protected. He is so loving and protective of her in a big brother way.
At work one night Sienna locks eyes with Carson Graham, ex-FBI agent and private investigator. Coming from a somewhat troubled past himself, Carson doesn't do feelings or relationships. His work requires him to travel a lot so he is more of a wham-bam-thank-you-maam type of guy. But the moment he locks eyes with Sienna, he begins to second guess his love em and leave em ways.
The sexual tension between the two was intense. And when they did hook up...it was explosive. Ladies get ready to swoon because Carson Graham is gonna rock your world!!! Both Carson and Sienna are swimming in unchartered waters with feelings they aren't familiar with and neither is quite sure how to handle them. Sienna wants to run to keep herself and everyone else safe, Carson wants to pursue a future.
Can these two people with damaged pasts have a happy ever after together with so many secrets between them? Well, you will just need to read to find out. ;)
Looking forward to book 2, which is Asher's story.
Thank you Rachel for asking me to read and review your book. You did a fabulous job on your first book! You should be proud of your accomplishment. It was a great read!
I was captivated after reading just the “about the book” description and had a hard time putting the book down once I started. “Electrified” has a fresh, well thought out storyline that intertwined the main characters with the side characters throughout the book showing Sienna’s personality, strength, courage and heart. Carson, an ex-FBI agent, was the perfect “book boyfriend” - hot, sexy, caring and swoony! The chemistry sizzled and was “electric” between these two, the sex scenes are hot and steamy. They very well placed and added to the story rather than overtake the plot. Sex wasn't the main focus even though you would think it would be. Sienna after all was the hottest stripper just outside of Vegas. Even if it's just an illusion she and her best friend/ co-owner created to keep her safe. There was great lead up and sexually tension with a touch of mystery and bad guys thrown it to keep your interest.
This story is told from both POV and helps you with what both of them are feeling, both the good and the self-doubt. I loved how Rachel was able to drawn me into the story and tugged a my hearts strings for what Sienna had to have gone through to get where she was when she finally gets the courage to meet up with Carson outside the club. She comes across as confident and strong with the ability to hide being broken underneath. It takes her curiosity in meeting Carson for her to open to feel for a person what's she has never felt before and realize that she could have it in her life even with her past.
This book has a HEA that leaves you wanting more! I cannot wait to start in on Asher's story – book 2 “Smoldered”
Ok first, but least important I have to commend this cover! It is what initially drew me to this book. I love a good cover! But now onto more important things. I LOVED this book. When you read a lot of books in the CR genre, as I tend to do, sometimes you tend to run across the same formula and end up skimming through most of the book because you have pretty much read it already. There will be NO skimming in Electrified. It is fresh, different, sexy and mysterious. You fall in love with the sweet, sultry Sienna Flower just as much as Carson does. She is a heroine you can truly root for! And don't even get me started on how much I loved Carson because this may be a longer than needed review :)....but dang...Carson is hot! Electrified was a great change of pace for me and I was shocked to learn this a debut novel for the author. Rachel B does an AMAZING job at bringing the Electric Tunnel in Vegas to life through her vivid descriptions and awesome characters. It was like reading a contemporary fairy tale set in the Vegas Underground and I was on the edge of my seat until the very end! Take this trip through the Electric Tunnel....You will not be dissapointed
I would like to thank Rachel for asking me to read and review Electrified. She did a great job on her first book!
Electrified has a well thought out storyline with complex characters and drama added to the mix. Rachel definitely put a lot of thought into what her story was going to be. I was hooked from the beginning and my interest didn’t wane. And sex scenes are hot and steamy. The chemistry between Sienna and Carson is HOT.
I loved the characters. Every single one. Sienna comes across as a strong girl but she is broken underneath. I loved her attitude and will to make herself a better life. She doesn’t take anyone’s shit and knows what she wants out of life. And Carson. SWOON. He is seriously the perfect book boyfriend. I LOVED him. A HELLEVA LOT. He is hot, sexy and caring. The perfect man. There is a great supporting cast of characters too. And a few asshole characters added to the mix to liven it up.
Rachel ties the story up very nicely but I am ready for more! So bring on Book 2- Asher’s story!
DNF @ 32% the story drags and is extremely repetitive. I started skimming just to get to anything besides the constant repetition about how much everyone desires Sienna and her virginal eyes.
I swear if I had to read the words "Sienna Flower" 5x on the same page one more time I was going to gauge my own eyes out.
This book was amazing. I loved how easily I was able to relate to the characters and feel like I was part of the steamy LV nightlife while hanging out at home. This is not your average sexy read, many twists and turns and never what you would expect. I can not wait to read more from this author.
What an awesome book! From the minute I started, I couldn't put this one down. Sienna and Carson just drew me in to their story. I can't wait to read Asher's story next!
Electrified is the first book in The Electric Tunnel series by first-time author Rachel Blaufeld. I was approved to read and review the second book in the series so I went ahead and read this first book because, well, I like reading books in a series in order. That may be anal of me but hey, I don't want to feel as if I'm missing out on anything or wondering who certain characters are in the next book. The more books for me to read, the better. ^.^
People come to the Electric Tunnel to get their fill of the woman who dances for their entertainment while filling their heads with fantasies to take home with them. With her blonde hair, a body made for sin, and innocent blue eyes, Sienna Flower is a name synonymous with sensuality. When she's onstage, nothing else exists except for the spotlight, the music, and the pole...until her attention is caught by a stranger who comes to watch her and only her every week.
When Carson Graham agreed to take on a missing persons case that would take him to the West Coast, he had no idea how difficult a case it would be. It's gotten to the point of frustration and the only thing that's able to take his mind off it is driving down to Sin City every week to watch one woman who dances and strips off enough clothing that leaves little to the imagination. He's captivated by her physically but he wants to get to know the woman behind the beauty.
The confidence that Sienna exudes when her audience watches her was seven years in the making, seven years after she left her old life behind. She has kept her past life under wraps, with only her closest and most trusted friend, Asher Peterson, knowing the traumatizing events she went through. She no longer looks like the girl she once was, but as well hidden as her former self may be, there are still those who are desperately looking for her, even after seven years.
Carson is the first man that Sienna's felt something other than friendship for and Sienna's the first woman that Carson has developed feelings of protectiveness and something more for. Exploring the possibilities of what may be going on between them is uncharted territory for both but with Sienna's past looking to make a reappearance, will Carson be ready to accept all the baggage that comes with Sienna and is Sienna ready to trust Carson with her heart?
This book had potential to be really great, what with an interesting story about a woman with a hidden past and a private detective on a missing persons case and the two are drawn to one another. The story itself was good but there was just too much wordage going on, and too much of anything is never a good thing. There were times that it got all too repetitive and there was even a point in the first few chapters that I ended up a tad confused in terms of the timeline.
Rachel Blaufeld definitely has some writing chops going for her and I'm still looking forward to reading the second book in the series. Overall, Electrified was a good book that kept my attention from start to finish. Yes, it had issues but I always hold out hope that the next book will be better, especially with proper guidance and from lessons learned. At the end of the day, this was something that I enjoyed, flaws and all, and am giving it 3.5 stars, rounded off to four stars for Goodreads. ♥
Electrified will leave you shocked and buzzing long after you have finished reading it. Caution – High levels of Angst Ahead. But oh so good.
Carson Graham is a cocky alpha male that is so thrown off balance by is attraction to Ms. Sienna Flower that he wonders what has happened to his cool self. Sienna “Lila” Flower is Vegas’ hottest stripper and also very thrown off balance by her attraction to a handsome stranger. When you get the two of them together – BAM – Fireworks galore!
When I first started reading I thought, “why do I need to hear so many times how hot Sienna thinks she is? Why does it keep going on about how many fans she has?” Well as I read I soon understand her insecurities about her previous life and her absolute drive to never be Lila again. The emotional ups and downs that Sienna has are justified and you feel them right along with her. Sienna is a survivor and slowly finds her true self with Carson. Carson has some of his own issues that you follow him through but he wants what he wants. I loved his character!
Rachel’s writing is superb. The suspense and mystery in this book was out of this world. When the twist that rocks your world happens you will not believe what has just happened. I did not see it coming AT ALL!. I have been on a kick lately with suspense romance novels and I am quite pleased that this book just raised the anty for future books in this genre. The story flows wonderfully and will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Each one of the secondary characters in this book deserves their own book. I would love to see what happens with some of them. They were all such a huge part in this book that you feel as you know them just as well as Carson and Sienna “Lila”. This book is a stand-alone.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone! I will be adding Rachel Blaufeld to my favorite authors list and be reading many of her books in the future.
My Favorite Quotes:
He was turning into an emotional cream puff.
You have a quiet beauty to you when you aren’t on stage.
He wanted her to have only eyes for him while sharing cocktails, and then ravage her afterward.
I just hope you trust me enough one day to allow me to do the protecting.
“I don’t want to go too fast, but I really want to touch you all over at the same time. My heart is pounding and my mind is racing, and all I want to do is please you.” Lila. You’re safe, honey. You can stop running. You can be whoever you want to be.
You have a lot of people who love you, Lila, including me.
He hoped their passion wasn’t only a promise of what they already knew worked between the sheets, but of togetherness. Something lasting that would bond the two of them forever.
This was the first book by this author that I’ve read. I really enjoyed the way she pulls you into the story bit by bit. You first meet Sienna while she is getting ready to go one stage ( take it off honey, oww oww), however can’t pull her blue eyes away from a tall dark sexy man, a man she has seen at the Electric Tunnel a few times now. She has asked around about him, and can’t explain why she is so drawn to him. She performs 7 nights a week for a plethora of handsome, horny men and never has she felt this way before. To saw Carson (our tall glass of water) feels the same pull as Sienna would be a huge understatement. Man is smitten with our beautiful vixen, and at first it angers him. Why her? He has gone almost 40 years without wanting more than a quickie from a woman. He tries time and time again to meet different women to work off his built up sexual need he has after watching Sienna dance for the past few weekends. But, unfortunately, our ex- FBI agent has got it bad for the erotic dancer.
Carson was just the bee’s knees!! I love how he comes to terms with his feeling for Sienna early on, and decide to explore those feelings rather than running away kicking and screaming because he is scared. He knows Sienna is not how she portrays herself on stage, this confident, overly sexual nymph. But instead she is quite, reserved, and enjoys unwinding with a cup of hot tea instead of glass of wine or cocktail. He takes his time getting to know Sienna and taking her on dates, pleasuring her rather than just hump and dump, which is what his old game plan was. When they finally get to the GOOOOOD stuff, it was magical, fireworks, hearts and flowers and all that jazz!! Sienna has never had a good relationship or sexual encounter before Carson, and being with Carson has just blown her mind, among other things. *snicker*
As the story develops you learn that Carson and Sienna’s paths were always destined to cross at one point or another. I won’t spoil it for you babies, but it’s defiantly a small world type of thing. What I really enjoyed in this book and that there was no extra angst added to the story line. They talked through their problems, they never pushed each other away, and they felt what they felt and didn’t try to over think it to death. It was refreshing to read about a couple who truly just enjoyed being together, and figuring out what’s next together. Carson couldn’t explain why it was Sienna who he broke all his rules for, but he stopped trying figure that out after their first date. *swoon* I really enjoyed this author series, and will defiantly be keeping my eye out of future books from her.

Sienna Flower seems to be the epitome of an exotic dancer just off the Strip in Las Vegas - beautiful, exotic, captivating, and full of secrets. Sienna has a past that she and her boss and best friend, Asher, have worked very hard to hide. She rose out of the ashes of her past seven years prior to when this book takes place, and she has worked hard to develop what the public sees and to keep her secrets to herself. The saying goes that "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas", but the irony seems to be that that is not often the case - secrets find a way out.
For several weeks, private investigator, Carson, has been captivated by Sienna, just as many men and women before him. She, however, is captivated by him, as well, and she begins to break many of her rules in order to meet him, get to know him and slowly open up to him. Asher, as well as several other people from the Electric Tunnel, where she works, are so caring and protective of her, however, so Carson must prove himself, not only to Sienna, but also to her "family". That was truly interesting to watch - to see this group of people that many others would judge or disregard for their chosen professions - to see them come together and care for one another was really sweet to see.
Sienna's past, however, begins to bleed into her present. She comes from a very strict and small-minded past, so she thought that she would be safe right out in the open in her new chosen profession. She was wrong, however, and she begins to wonder who she can trust. I have to admit, there were some aspects of the end of the story that I did see coming, but there were some things that actually did take me by surprise. I won't say more, as to not provide any spoilers.
So, overall, I feel like Rachel writes a good story, however, I think I might actually feel like there were too many details, at times. Or maybe there is just too much repetition of the same details, so it feels like too much. As an example, Sienna has a trademark skin care regimen of wearing sparkly lotion, but I felt like that was mentioned over and over again. It made me begin to skim through a lot of the sections, and then I would realize I had missed some dialogue and have to go back. I think there was also a lot of focus on the innocence in Sienna's eyes, considering what she does. I think if we were talking a time period of one to three years, you could maybe still say that, knowing what I know now of her past, but I do think it would be difficult to keep that innocence in your eyes within the exotic dancing field for seven years.
This book is a skillful blending of genres and a marvelous read. It is beautifully constructed: part detective novel/ part suspense/ and definitely part romance. It is a thoughtful, thorough, exceptionally well written study of the blend of personal history, life choices, our own frailties and how our need to survive can create a very different image in how the world see us. At its core it proves that even people damaged, unable to trust and protective cannot escape either sexual attraction or the most basic need to love and be loved. And there is plenty of sexual attraction between Sienna and Carson right from the start.
At the center of this story is Sienna, a masterfully constructed character with many layers. Blaufeld manages the daunting task of creating a woman of such contradictory parts until her unique fabric is logical in every way. Innocence can exist in absolute cruel circumstance.
Unusually introspective, this book is a full meal from beginning to end. A beautiful journey through the maze of human psychology, trauma, survival and love. The sex scenes are both tender and steamy and an intricate expression of who the characters are.
And somehow after the end of an intense journey, full of unexpected plot twist[I hate Eldon] it ends with the perfect happily every after.
This book was gifted to me by the very lovely writer for honest review.
I've not read anything else from this author unless she writes under a different name, which I highly doubt cause the writing style was quiet unique. She took a great deal of time to give you info on the main character, her live style and felt I got to know her before the story started, which was a very refreshing start to a book.
The main man in the book was not controlling or pushy, he knew when to back off so the story could develop, he never tried to overpower the woman or dictate to her in anyway, the story for all these positive did therefore seem to have a slow start and I did at one stage debate if I wanted to continue, but decided to stick with it and glad I did, cause I really found myself absorbed into the book before I knew it and found it very hard to put down for the few times I needed too.
Don't try to do what most people are doing with romance/erotica.......this is no 50 Shades! But enough for me, I like to add in my own thoughts to the story or how i grasp the book to be, but simply get a nice comfy chair, and curl up for a what day is it today or so......I read fairly fast! And just enjoy, I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.
This debut novel by Rachel Blaufeld is nothing short of Fantastically Steamy and Mysterious! It's the perfect mix of sweet and sexy heat. Blaufeld did a wonderful job with character development, and blending of romance, sizzle and suspenseful twists.
Sienna Flower is a strong heroine-not weak despite everything she's been through and that is always refreshing to see the leading lady not let her past define her, she moves on, but keeps closely guarded {totally believable in character creation} - WELL DONE. The best part about reading for me is when, I learn about topics I don't know a lot about and this story had me sucked in from the beginning. Solid First Novel! Cannot wait to see what Rachel Blaufeld does with her next novel. Bravo Lady!
I was given a copy of this book by the Author to read and review. This was a great first book from Rachel and I look forward to reading many more.
A sweet, sensual and erotic book. Sienna is a powerhouse character who has had a bad past and ran away from it all. Starting over as a new person has given her notoriety and great self esteem in herself. Although she appears to have it all together. she is truly broken and yearns for that true deep love. Along come Carson former FBI agent. He is mysterious and handsome and there is just something about him Sienna can't seem to stay away from. A great read and the chemistry is electrifying.
Wow!! I really loved this book!! I think Rachel Blaufeld did an amazing job on her first novel!! Once I started this book I was hooked and did not want to put it down till the end!!
I loved Sienna and Carson!! The chemistry between them was HOTTTT!!! Carson is def going to the top of my BBB list. Sienna and Carson both have been left broken and neither believes they deserve anything or anyone.....until they find each other.
The secondary characters in this book were great!! Asher, Petal, Natalie, Mike, etc...I am really excited to see what Rachel comes up with next and I cannot wait till Asher's book is released!!
I will def recommend this to all my friends to read!!
Sienna.... The hottest exotic star in Las Vegas.....with a secret past.....
Enter Carson... The hottest alpha FBI agent.... Taking some down time from solving a case that is giving him some trouble... Heads to Vegas....
Carson sees Sienna .... Sienna sees Carson.... Whap bam boom!!! Hot hot hot!
This story was just a fun read... Sucked me in from the beginning... Read it in a couple of hours... They are both such a delight... Good sincere people... With a couple of secrets... Lol.
Great debut! I totally enjoyed this book. It kept my interest from beginning to end. I thought it had a unique storyline that included romance, suspense and mystery. The characters were well developed. I loved Carson and Sienna and was happy to see where they ended up. I especially liked Mike's character. What a big teddy bear! Asher's story is told in Smoldered (Electric Tunnel Book 2). It's now on my to-read shelf. Can't wait to learn more about Asher.
