The characters in this annoyed me a few times, but they weren't awful.

This was an okay read, but it took a while to get going. The first half dragged because of it, and made the book feel longer than what it was.

I read an ARC by this author and she sent me this one as a bonus read!

I normally don't read YA Paranormal, but since it was a free read I gave it a chance.

It was surprisingly good! The teen romance wasn't too cheesy and I genuinely liked Liam. I was worried the "mind reading" was going to be an eye-roll but I thought it was done well. It was also humorous for it being YA Paranormal. There was a good "moral" in this one and the ending was done really well. I see this is now a series and I would be curious what happens with Elle/Liam.

Thanks for sending me a copy in exchange for an honest review!
