Hopefully first of many

Turney introduces his latest hero. Maximus, a scout in the Roman army in Dacia. Fascinating insight into one of the least known,section of Caesar's legions. Plenty of action and intregue. Roll on the next instalment.

Nail bitting read

The constant twists in the story you are not sure if they will make it or not. Great characters, roman and enemy alike.

Great read

Really enjoyed this story, read over three days, already looking forward to the next instalment. Learning more about Roman cavalry in the process.
