A charming glimpse into vintage travel that still offers useful ideas for journeying well. I'm grateful for how convenient modern travel is, but this book did make me a touch nostalgic for things like analog boarding passes and the lack of connectivity that "getting away" used to mean.
However, arriving by plane in 1960's Asia only to be boarded by officials fumigating the cabin for foreign insects while the passengers remained ONBOARD is a part of vintage travel I'm relieved is gone with the buffalo!!!
