I recommend this book to everyone, especially if you’re a parent. We can create such a great relationship with ourselves and others in our life by doing the work in this book. It is literally a road map to self compassion and acceptance with tools and journal questions in each chapter. This book has helped me become more self aware, understand why I am the way I am, tools to help me heal, cultivate self-compassion towards myself and others, and trust myself to take action towards a better life. Thank you Nikki xx

This is a must have for anyone looking to become more self compassionate. Nikki has made complex concepts easily digestible, providing reflection questions, and steps to take throughout the book. I love the way you feel like she is speaking directly to you and we can really feel the human behind the therapist. Thank you Nikki! Highly recommend!
