Kill for Love: A Dark MM Psychological Thriller

Rate this book
Love can make people do crazy things.
It can make a person sacrifice themselves for it, die in the name of it...
Or even kill for it.

That's what I learned from Wesley Soloman.

I knew nothing about his infamy before I read about him in those news headlines--a Wisconsin man incarcerated for attempted murder, who is six years into serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole. A dangerous man who should be feared, who should never see the light of day again, and who should never be allowed to step foot outside of his six-by-eight cell for as long as he's alive. A man who deserves no second chances, for he's wasted them all, and has proven to be nothing but a menace to society. A danger to the civilized world.
A man who should not be desired, who should not be loved, and who should definitely not be obsessed over.
But that's exactly what I am.
Obsessed with him.

I can't help it though. He's everything that I'm not. He's wild and tough, covered in black prison-tats, and is downright lethal. And when I decide to write to him--for reasons unknown to me--he answers. He writes me back, developing a special bond with me over the letters we send, a trusting relationship that only he and I can understand.
And when I receive his final letter that's coded with details of his escape, I'm right there to greet him on the other side of the prison yard as his own personal getaway driver.
Then, finally, we're together.
Together at last.

But there are sides to Wesley Soloman that I don't understand yet. There are sides to this man that are far darker than I could've anticipated, far darker than where my mind is even capable of going. Far more violent than I had ever known.
But I'd risk it all for him.
I'd do anything for him, anything he asks.
Even kill for him.

dark but not romantic

Book was more of a dark erotic psychotic Stockholm syndrome kind of book.

You get Troy who is your average looking weird ginger kid who gets fascinated by this harden criminal name Wes. As much as we like dark romance we would actually like it if there was actual moments of romance. In the book Troy is SA by wes many times and even passed out. Then Wes claims he loves Troy but will go SA someone else as well. It felt more like Troy was a means to an end and was never really loved by Wes. Book is dark though with a lot of non-consensual wanted intimacy. Some of it was kind of hard to read as you want to love this character and find some kind of redeeming quality in them but as you read more about them you really hate them no matter how sexy or hot they are if they’re not good or faithful they don’t know how to love. So overall it wasn’t more of a romance book more of like a dark psychological thriller to be honest. Not sure I’ll read future books by this author but maybe. Now to go cleanse my mind.
