If you’re a fan of Elder Maxwell’s writings, you’ll very likely love this collection of everything he’d published. If you’re not a fan or don’t know much about him, start with a copy of a collection of quotes by him to get a flavor for his skill with the English language, imagery, and ability to bring out the primary and sometimes deeper and hidden meaning from gospel principles.
I was able to find a mint condition but used copy of this collection. My one disappointment is that it doesn’t include a comprehensive index. I would have loved to have had a single index (one extra volume) that would have enabled using the collection as a powerful reference on so many important subjects. Maybe some day when I retire, I’ll create my own index. Or if anyone happens to know whether there was an index made and it simply wasn’t included with my set, please do share!
THE BEST collection of Elder Maxwell's books. He is so inspirational and educational. He challenges my mind as I read his profetic writings. I miss him greatly!
