During DTAC 2016 that was excited to see how can live with purpose!
Honestly, missed author keynote speech, so decided to buy this book to see what's the secret inside this book and will review each chapter and then what feel about the book.

When I started to read the book i loved first quotes “every day is a new opportunity to make your life a story worth telling -Adam Braun” but I was really upset to read and said this is for people not in GCC, but when I go through the book I realized that everywhere we could make life story even we have tiny opportunity . So decided to do this formula as the author mentioned in introduction “Learn it, live it, Give it is the simple yet powerful when put in motion”!

chapter 1—IDEAL DAY VISION
I learned to how to plan and make vision for the day as well as I am doing it all the time by planning for each month but I never was thinking to check what I have, and I will be grateful for few things I have that gives me more positive thinking and motivation to fix my weakness;

Chapter 2— FOCUSING ON THE MAJORS PART 1
During this busy days, I was confused and messed up that what is my major and minor and what's different between them. I was doing important and most valuable way to plan but not specific knew about this two specifically. The major are the core elements that build the foundation for happiness and enable to reach for bigger and better things.as you see happiness is part of definition which I was doing the plan only due to my commitment and community, and I was not felt that I have to plan due to what is comfortable and makes me happy !!
The minors were appearing in an endless number of variations and differing from person to person; the minors can sometimes be hard to identify and identified, so I was jubilant for that I know my talents, and this is a gift from God that create good things for my people and help my country, but loved this sentences that I will focus on it “ HEALTH IS ALL ABOUT THE AMOUNT OF ENERGY YOU HAVE.”
The three questions on page 28 and challenge were the most important things in this chapter

Chapter 3—FOCUSING ON THE MAJORS PART 2
In this chapter, the author spoke about how this major like family, professional life, and finance will affect us and how we can make a balance between them and what is the reflection in our life!
As I learned that even I have all of them, have to be happy with what I do not only making money or working profession.

Chapter 4—IGNITING YOUR EMOTIONAL ROCKET FUEL FOR RESULTS
I liked the sentences he asked that make me think maybe five days to check and answer, the sentence is “ There is an enormous difference between knowing what to do and doing what you know” which is the key to this chapter
in this chapter he shows two key factors for building your emotional rocket fuel each day:
1- finding your big why
2-activating your big why

Chapter 5— FILLING IN LOVE WITH HARD WORK
As my friends telling me, I am hard work person, but this chapter motivated me to fall in love with my hard work that was giving me some commitments for my life.

Chapter 6—THE THREE OPPONENTS
The truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed.Third, it is accepted as being self-evident “- attributed to Arthur Schopenhauer
how I can find my truth. As he mentioned, truth is our guiding light through all of the resistance. The elements that make up our personal Truth are:
T— Clear and defined trajectory
R— willing to rebuke the naysayers, renounce our doubts, and be relentless in our approach
U— To be unconventional with our strategies, unified in your internal thoughts and beliefs, and unassailable.
T— we all need a massive amount of tenacity to ensure we will be able to take the punches and continue to make process no matter what life tosses your way
H—Create the place that you can go each day to refuel “like I do drawings and public speaking.”

Chapter7—YOU ARE NOT GUARANTEED A TOMORROW
“It is not death that man should fear, but he should fear never begging to live”—Marcus Aurelius Roman Emperor
as I understand this chapter is talking about after finding our truth how we can plan in our life to make vision for our life and make urgent and important and not important that giving us priority and planned life as I do all the time but forgot to focus on things makes me happier and grateful that give me positive thinking and know my power !!
I have time management, but I need to think positively more

Chapter 8—BACK IN THE MINORS
this chapter was a little bit complicated I confused a lot and was not clear

Chapter 9-FINDING THE TRUE YOU
“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.”—attributed to Carl Jung I loved this chapter which I was reading the questions and answering as my reply. As I am planning daily, weekly, monthly and putting year revolution plan but I got some techniques that help to think differently.

Chapter 10—HARNESSING YOUR MENTAL STRENGTH
i loved this chapter which the author has two strong points first is the story about the boxes work that motivate me that if fall in love with my hard work I can do anything impossible to possible, second is thinking with your heart instead of your head which we trained not to believe in professional life by our heart, and we plan and plan by mind and studies which if we sometimes feel by heart we will be more successful .

Chapter 11— RAISING YOUR STANDARDS
The most practical part of the book which mentions how to understand the norm a raising it in the way you want and respect. He said the ways and steps which are ( Belief, Decision, commitment, and Action)

Chapter 12—IDEAL LIFE VISION
I learned how to celebrate achievement as my personality is taking thought of myself this is good things to know how to take easy and celebrate even for small achievement during the day or life.
Thanks, Jairak Robbin for making me think more positively, and give this book five stars

The reviews can't be real. This is nothing but anecdotal bromides about the author's experiences that are far removed from what regular working folks can ever expect to experience themselves especially with the advice given in this book. Boo.

This book reminds me of the Strangest Secret by Earl Nightengale. The author Jairek is a young man who has discovered what every generation before him has discovered. We are what we think about. When our thoughts and actions are in harmony, we can accomplish great things. I admire his passion for spreading the word, though much of the book is somewhat naïve. I suppose that I was once just as naïve. The advice is sound. The personal stories are interesting anecdotes of his life changing experiences. But those experiences are not particularly motivating to me as they say more about his misguided youth than any great enlightenment. Nevertheless, I am glad I read this book.

I don´t know if it´s me getting easily teared up or this book is carrying strongly affecting emotional messages that change our perception of life and compassion, but I cried a couple of times reading it. Stories and people that have inspired me are mentioned in the book and that made me feel very connected to every lesson and teachings on leading a purposeful life while at the same time building momentum and living more authentically.

The tools in the book will help you get clarity on your values, how to build a life around those values and be successful in reaching your goals.

I recommend the book to anyone feeling lost or scared to follow their inner voice.

Meh, follows the familiar road of motivational self-help type books of proving some good tips and surrounding them with personal anecdotes and exceptional case studies. The author comes across as too young to have much credibility and his personal stories are not inspiring at all, but I could see how he, as a person obviously raised in a relatively prosperous family and environment, might think they are. I guess this book might be good for teenagers. I must have picked it up on a daily deal or something.

Judging from the first few pages, I wasn't really expecting it to be a page-turner. However, as the chapters went on, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Robin's Ideal Day goal-setting method was actually quite effective. The volume of useful notes and reflections I've jotted down while reading this book served well for the use of my time. If you find yourself in need of motivation, this book just might help you get through.

I really enjoyed this book written by Jarek Robbins. I loved the exercises and practical challenges throughout this book. I liked how thought provoking some of the content it. I also enjoyed the fact that this book is written by someone who comes from a privileged life but also has lived a realistic life. This means that Robbins is able to provide concepts and suggestions which translate for anyone wanting to be more productive and improve their life.

Solid Advice

The skills run in the family, and the key component of finding and living your purpose is not only central to the book, but also to happiness itself. While the book is a decent read, there isn’t much here that can’t be gleaned elsewhere. However, the stories are reasonably engaging and the advice sound. A good read.

Nothing new here, but some good ways of presenting what we all know after reading a few books in this genre - his take on mortality is very powerful. He is his father's son, and he is his own man.

Disclaimer: I received this book free through First Reads. (My first win!)

I think that I could have gotten more out of this book 10-15 years ago... and if I had a better idea of my big "whys" and "whats." I have come across many of the the exercises before (such as envisioning your ideal day); however, I feel this is a fresh perspective (young male)... and he has an interesting story to tell. There are a few hippy-dippy parts or sections where he comes off as overly privileged, but overall this could be an inspiring and motivational book for the right audience.

I received this book through Goodreads giveaway.

This is an inspiring read by Jairek Robbins. The author has a great story to tell and his Learn it, Live it and Give it approach is refreshing. The book includes a few helpful exercises to try to figure out how you want to live your life. I haven't read too many books of this kind, but this one was pretty motivating. Of course, it will work only if you're truly committed to changing and actually following the advice given.
