After what my family did to us, I somehow manage to not only survive, but to thrive. I’m an attorney, a junior partner in one of the most prestigious law firms in the country. The climb up the ladder is daunting. But my guy, the love of my life, pushes me to never give up, and I haven’t. We know the sacrifices we’re making will give us a better life once my education pays off.
While that’s all true, fast forward in time. Somehow, I’ve lost my way. I’m walking a tightrope where one wrong step could cost me everything. Now I’m stuck in a place I never planned to be with a man who’s losing faith in me by the second.
Beau Brooks
My determination to be a self-made man is becoming a hard goal to achieve. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner. I love him beyond reason, but all that devotion isn’t helping me get through the long, lonely days and nights for months on end. Dash puts everything else first and is morphing into a man I don’t recognize, leaving me to live a life I never wanted.
When I finally see the truth in a way I can’t overlook, leaving my love is the only real option. Am I strong enough to make a change or will I continue to fade into the hidden shadows where Dash seems to want me to dwell?
Our strong relationship could unravel when the differences become too hard to ignore. Can the bonds we forged in our past hold us together or will our carefully laid foundation crumble, leading us to separate lives?
The Gravity Series is an unforgettable whirlwind romance chronicling the love of two men over three decades. Fusion heats up the scene with passionate alpha males who navigate the often rocky road to love. Love’s rarely easy, but when it’s true, it’s a battle worth fighting for.
Fusion is book two in the Gravity trilogy by Kindle Alexander. This series is a continuation of the relationship between Beau and Dash and the books need to be read in order. This book starts right up where the previous book left off.
Once again, the book is divided up into two parts. In part one, our guys are twenty and twenty one years old. They are devastated by what Dash’s parents did to them and Dash doesn’t know what they’ll do. But help comes in an unexpected way and their hopes and dreams for their future are saved. This part of the book takes us through a big move and the rest of Dash’s law school education. What we really see here is the strength of the bond between these two. They know their bond is what helps them to overcome all that has been thrown in their paths. And that together, they can achieve anything.
“We’re starting over again. Funny how we keep doing that. Maybe this time will stick.”
Part two takes us through their later twenties. I believe by the end they are maybe around thirty? Dash is a Junior Partner in a very prestigious law firm. His ambition has him working probably a hundred hours a week. He is on the fast track to being a full partner. He is also driven by revenge against his father for what he did to them. His love for Beau has never wavered. But his focus has. Beau is still driving a delivery truck. But he has never changed from the country boy he always was. He has never felt that he fit in with Dash’s work crowd. And little by little, Dash stopped trying to get him to. Now Beau finds himself alone more than he’s not. He’s increasingly lonely and unhappy and somewhere along the way, he has lost himself.
“How had our perfect lives gotten so messy and complicated?”
One thing never changed and that is the love these two have for each other. But, they are grown up. They fell in love when they were fifteen years old and had to fight tooth and nail to finally be together. Dash never wavered with knowing that his Beau would be in his life. But now that ambition, revenge and life in general has pulled them apart, is there any hope that they can find their way back to each other? These two have had such a hard road already. It broke my heart to see them in this place. I just had to keep telling myself that their love was strong enough to help them find their way back. I love these two so much and couldn’t put this down. Dash never fails to make me smile with his stalkerish characteristics. Now I can’t wait to read the final book in this trilogy, Force, and see what adventure this author has in store for these two next.
“I was so deeply in love, I didn’t know where I began and he ended.”
God, I love these two men and Fusion, book two in the Gravity series takes us on the second part of their journey. Beau and Dash have something special but life is complicated and decisions are made that pull them apart. Their wants and dreams which have been aligned for a long time seem to be taking different paths and they will face some heartbreaking challenges, but the big question is, is their love enough to put them back on the same path again? Read, enjoy and find out for yourself. There is still more to their story and I can’t wait to be along for the rest of their journey.
When I first started reading Fusion, i really could not remember who the characters were and where the story was starting off from - I put that down to my bookzheimer's and the crap that has been going on in my life the past couple of weeks, and nothing to do with the writing or story
Once I got back into the world of Beau and Dash, it came back to me, and we continued on with their lives from where Friction ended.
Oh, what a journey we take. I found myself not really liking Dash as the story continued, and that is what Kindle Alexander's wonderful writing did to me. I loved him, like Beau did, but at the same time did not like him.
They had their ups and downs and their stumbles as a couple, and my heart hurt, I got angry, I wanted to b1tch slap some people, but most of all, I needed to give Beau and Dash a big hug.
I am almost at a total loss at how to write this review. I fell in love with Beau and Dash in part one of this trilogy. These young men found a love that many only dream of and spans time. Even during the bad times their love never faltered. Part two starts as the young men start to navigate life after Dash’s father’s deception and cruelty has come to light. Dash is determined to make it up to Beau no matter what it takes. To Dash that means fast tracking his law degree, becoming a partner in a large firm and doing whatever it takes to destroy his father. But Dash But Dash is a simple country boy and only wants Dash, home and in his life. But he tried his best to be what Dash wants and fit in his world. These two are still battling those that wish to separate them but their own personal wants and needs may just do without any outside help.
Can Beau become what Dash needs to fit in his new ritzy life? Can Dash aee and help Beau fulfill his own needs and dreams? Ms. Alexander has portrayed their life and struggles so vividly that my heart hurts and soars for them equally. This reader can’t wait to see how their story ends. I only hope they get the HEA these two truly deserve.
The continuing story of Dash and Beau begins with fallout from Friction. The books must be read in order. The two face the travesty of misguided family members that are intent on tearing them apart. While the struggle would have broken any other couple, Dash and Beau become closer than ever to overcome adversity. The two begin a new chapter in their lives as they must start over and have only each other to rely on. With the changes to their lives their relationship is put to the test. The two must face more challenges as they acclimate to a new city and the stresses of Dash’s rapidly accelerating career. Through the challenges the two face one of their most difficult tests as both grow and mature as men but not necessarily as a couple. When heartbreak once again strikes the two are once again pulled apart. Their unending love is the only thing that keeps them tied together. As the two reconnect they must learn from their mistakes and recreate a cohesive partnership. This book is a journey that will make you laugh and reduce you to tears. Dash and Beau experience the growing pains that most committed couples must face. Sometimes they thrive and other times they falter. They share a beautiful relationship that resembles that of real world love. Credit belongs to the author for how realistic this couple is to couples in real life. The conclusion of this trilogy promises to take the reader down the path of a permanent happy ever after though there will be trials much like there are in real life relationships.
This is the second book in the Gravity series that will grip you and not let go! Beau and Dash have had an up an down absolute love since teenagers with pitfalls an triumphs around every corner! Beau and Dash are so in love but somewhere along the way Dash turns his focus more on destroying his father and doesn't leave room for Beau. With the emptiness of being on the outside over the past few years Beau decided he had enough! Lordy the anguish of separation is very real and hard on my heart! This book absolutely needs to be read in order right after Friction! Now we need to be screaming and hollering for the third and final book in this series, Force because there will be no rest until we get our hea! If any book deserved10 stars this one would top the list!
Book two in the Gravity Series is an emotionally charged and deeply introspective tale of love, ambition, and the sacrifices we make for success. The story delves into the complexities of relationships tested by ambition, personal growth, and unforeseen challenges.
Dash Richmond is a compelling character—a self-made attorney navigating the treacherous path to success while wrestling with the sacrifices that come with it. His drive and determination are inspiring, yet the personal cost of his ambition becomes heartbreakingly clear as he drifts away from the man he loves. The portrayal of his inner conflict, as he balances his career aspirations with his faltering relationship, feels raw and authentic.
Beau Brooks, Dash's partner, provides a poignant counterpoint. His love and unwavering support for Dash are heartwarming, but his growing loneliness and sense of invisibility are equally heartbreaking. Beau’s struggle to reconcile his devotion to Dash with his own unmet needs adds depth to the story. His decision to consider leaving the relationship is handled with sensitivity, showcasing the emotional toll of loving someone who seems increasingly out of reach.
Fusion masterfully explores themes of love, sacrifice, and the cost of ambition. The narrative is rich with emotional tension, making it impossible to look away as Dash and Beau navigate the cracks forming in their once-solid foundation. The dialogue is authentic, and the pacing strikes a perfect balance between introspection and action. One of the strongest elements is the portrayal of the dual perspectives. It allows us to empathise with both characters, understanding their motivations and pain. This nuanced storytelling ensures that neither Dash nor Beau is painted as the antagonist, but rather as two individuals trying to reconcile their love with the realities of their individual paths.
The climax is both devastating and hopeful, leaving readers questioning whether love alone is enough to sustain a relationship when life’s pressures threaten to tear it apart. With the exploration of identity, ambition, and the fragility of human connection being profoundly moving, this is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the importance of not losing sight of what truly matters.
This is the second book in this trilogy and is a continuation of Dash and Beau’s story. These two have a history, but have managed to make their way back to each other, but when the past resurfaces, will they be able to stay together? This is a well written easy to read, emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, action, challenges, survival, soulmates, romance, revelations, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, and unpredictable, addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
5 Star Review Fusion (Gravity #2) by Kindle Alexander
Book two in the latest series from Kindle Alexander was a well written story that quickly had me captivated in the continuation of Dash Richmond and Beau Brooks’ story.
Picking up from where we left off in Friction, which must be read first, I was quickly invested in the story Kindle Alexander wove.
Kindle Alexander are my go to for MM romance. There are so many layers to this story and I was hooked from the first chapter to the last.
I love the dynamic between Dash and Beau. These two are meant to be together if only they can overcome the obstacles.
Wow… What a cry fest this book was, I ugly cried so many times, it was heartbreaking, why Kindle why? GAH… I love Beau and Dash in first book, this book, I love Beau and was disliking Dash for a nice while and cursing him out( yep, I’m crazy like that) , I went back to loving Dash after towards end of book, now wait until April for final book and fingers crossed its happy happy times the whole book ;) Dash’s father at it again, grrrrr… Beau’s Mom meeting a new man, so happy for her. A name drop from Texas Pride, loved it! The book was a wonderful read once you pass the heartbreak , but have tissues handy, you’re going to need them…
Kindle Alexander you took us on a journey that was not only heartbreaking but also heartwarming. Dash & Beau have gone through so many ups and downs, so many loving moments but also some hard truths. Dash has a lot of high aspirations but loses himself in the process and Beau just wants a simple life with his man. Can two people come back to the beginning and find that again or is it too late. You can’t help finding yourself so vested in these two incredible people that you cheer them on and cry along with them hoping they can find the HEA they both always deserved and wanted.
Fusion is the second book in the Gravity series by Kindle Alexander. You have to read Friction first, so if you haven’t, go one-click it now.
Dash and Beau have gone through so much over the years. When they were together and were apart. They are now together and want their happily ever after but can they navigate through more than they already have in the past? Dash is moving up in the law world and Beau is trying to figure out what he wants. He wants Dash but he will not just be a trophy boyfriend sitting at home waiting for his man to come home. He wants more.
What a ride. We pick up right where we left off in Friction as Beau Brooks and Dash Richmond navigate their new existence after the spectacular blow-out with Dash's family. Both men are still madly in love with the other but in this second book in the Gravity trilogy, we get to watch them falter as their new normal is now in Chicago and their worlds start to drift apart.
Kindle Alexander knows how to pull at the heartstrings as Beau is truly lost and alone while Dash is relentless in not only finishing law school ahead of time but is on the fast track to partner in his new law firm. As Beau realizes how badly he fits into Dash's perfectly polished world yet again, I was so sad for him that Dash just couldn't see how much he continued to alienate his man, clearly becoming more like his dreadful father with each passing day.
I liked how the book jumped in time, giving us just enough to glean what this new life in Chicago looked like for both men, with the permeating sense of despair that their crumbling relationship might not survive, always at the forefront.
Although Dash had his ducks in a row when it came to taking down his father, the secrets he kept from Beau only caused them to not see eye to eye more often than not. I was hoping Dash would pull his head out of his arse before he lost his love forever and I'm happy to say these two may just be on the road to that forever both so desperately wanted as those last pages were read. But I was glad that Beau took control of his life, even if it meant being away from Dash for an entire year, showing the successful lawyer exactly what HE needed, whether or not they ended up together in the end.
With another book on the horizon, I can only imagine the outcome of their complicated reunion as I'm sure Dash is still wanting to bring his father and family to their knees once and for all. Time will tell whether or not Beau will always be on board and if Dash's thirst for revenge may be their ultimate downfall. Yes, opposites most definitely attract where these two are concerned but sometimes those differences become way too great to dismiss.
Fusion is full of the kind of heat, passion and need Kindle Alexander is known for. This amazing writing duo continues to offer up the kind of love story that I can't ever get enough of, with addictive characters who hold on tight to my own heart and soul. I look forward to what they'll bring us next as Dash and Beau continue on their journey toward forever. I can only hope it doesn't hurt too much.
Where to start to express how much we loved this story. It felt so real and believable the realness of it all filled with so much raw emotion. The story was so heartfelt and emotional. As you navigated the pages you felt the feelings pop right off pages and onto you of what the characters were experiencing whether it was pain, sorrow, or happiness. This couple no doubt were soulmates they weathered storm after storm. This couple's relationship had its ups and downs but, somewhere while building a life exacting revenge they lost their way but, never the intense true love they had for one another.
The characters are fantastic we love them all but, our absolute favorite is Dasham or Dash. Dash is kind, loving, compassionate, driven, smart, successful, and kind-hearted, not the best communicator but he tries. Amelia is a prime example of what kind of a guy he is. The chemistry he and Beau share is off the charts.
Beau is a character we love but, have always had mixed feelings about. You understand his views on his life and what he wants whether professional or personal and his hopes and dreams and I want those things for him but, with his hang-ups about certain aspects of his and Dash's life together he could make more of an effort of compromising without losing his self. Communication between these two needed to be better. Dash may have lost sight of what was most important and paid a very heavy price but, we always felt and still feel he has been the one to always put the most effort into making things work between the two. You never doubt his love for Beau for one second.
There was a lot to unpack in this book and we loved seeing things unfold and that Dash's hard work paid off in certain aspects of his life. The side characters are just as important as the main characters in this story because there is so much love and support from friends and family. There were a few surprises that we did not see coming good and bad.
Overall this was a fantastic read that we never wanted to end and if the next book had been available we would have dove right in. The ending was perfect Dash being Dash made it so. We can't wait for its conclusion. I will say that it was impossible not to fall in love with this series characters Dash and Beau are characters who will not be forgotten there was just something about their love story that is beautiful and tragic.
This author is an automatic purchase for any title released. I have them all reread them often and wait for the next one not so patiently. This is the second in a trilogy, all released a few months apart.
Book two picks up right where book one leaves off, (you really do need to read book one to get the real gist of betrayal). Dash is stunned to find out everything that happened was because of his own family. He now has Beau back and is showing him everything he has been doing to have prepared for their new adventure. Beau has not had it easy. His "father" abused him beyond words and he lost his beloved grandparents due to everything that happened. Beau fights Dash as much as he can stating he is tainted and should not be loved, but Dash will not hear of it. Now reality is setting in as Dash's parents start eliminating things in Dash's life to make him come back to them and leave Beau behind.
Dash is determined to succeed and when they find an ally in someone not afraid of his father they are suddenly moving across the country. Once they are there things start to go up fast for them both, but is it what they want?
Dash is working seven days a week does he realize what he is doing to Beau? Will Beau get the job of his dreams? Will Beau be left alone too often for his liking? Will his own mother get her own happily ever after for all the support she gave the two? Will Dash's family continue to harm Dash? Who ends up winning in this war of happiness?
I want it to be April in the worst way! I CAN NOT WAIT for the wrap up. But then I will be sad it is over!
And so the emotional ride that is the story of Beau and Dash continues! This book picks up right where we left off in Friction and now Beau and Dash are together and trying to figure out their next steps.
They are met with challenges right away when they learn how ruthless Dash’s father is and that he’s set on ruining Dash and preventing him from having any kind of future. That only makes him more determined though and through some connections it leads Dash and Beau to opportunities in Chicago. Despite how much love these two have for each other and everything they’ve already been through, the tough times aren’t over.
Dash is a determined man, he’s driven to be successful and to destroy his father but it comes at a cost to him and he loses his focus on what really matters and for a while becomes a different person. During this time Beau sees these changes and definitely feels like he doesn’t belong and also feels like he’s losing himself. He decides he’s had enough and that he needs some time apart.
This book really is an emotional roller coaster! I was so happy to see them together and you can just feel how much and how deeply these two love each other and then reality hits and sometimes no matter how much love is there things aren’t working. It’s heartbreaking and frustrating at times, wanting them to just get their happiness. These two grow though and they figure out what really matters and they find the right way to get there. I really do love these two and I’m very curious to see what happens next for these two and how it all comes together.
In Fusion, we pick up right where Friction left off with Dash and Beau. After surviving the fallout caused by their fathers, the two are ready to start a new life together. They’ve moved to a new town with new surroundings, but once again, Beau feels like a fish out of water, trying his best to keep up with the more sophisticated Dash.
As the story progresses, we see both Dash and Beau grow, not just as individuals, but also as partners. Their journey really highlights the struggles that many opposites attract couples endure—learning how to navigate change without losing each other along the way. I loved watching them evolve as people, but I also started to see the writing on the wall for them as a couple. The challenges were real, and while I really wanted to see them overcome them, it was clear that it was going to take time.
The book is well-written, taking us on a journey through the years with Beau and Dash, and giving us a full picture of their lives. Along the way, we meet friends and family, both new and old—that help to flesh out the story and add depth to their world. I loved how these two characters grew together, then apart, and then found a way to grow again. Fusion shouldn’t be read as a standalone, and we’re clearly not done with Dash and Beau yet. I’m really hoping the next book gives us a glimpse into their future because their story isn’t over just yet!
I wanted to love this story – and I did for the most part – but it frustrated me a bit. It’s been about 4 months since I read Friction – which means about 100 books ago – so I didn’t remember all of the secondary characters from that book. I would have appreciated a few cues from the author as to who some of the characters were when they made their first appearance in this story; even just a character list, and who they are, at the front of the book would have been nice to have. I eventually figured most of them out as I continued reading but I had to knock off a half-star for this and give it four stars instead of 4.5.
I do enjoy a good angsty story and this one really delivered. Dash and Beau go through a lot of growing pains in their relationship because Dash becomes obsessed with his work and taking his father down. Beau isn’t completely blameless IMHO; I think he’s a bit too touchy about letting Dash buy things. He knew that Dash was wealthy when they got together.
I loved Beau’s mother and Dash’s former nanny, Amelia. There are many other secondary characters who enhanced my enjoyment of Beau’s and Dash’s continuing story. Fusion is full of feels and scorchingly hot smexy time. The author could easily have ended the saga here but I was happy to learn that there is one more book coming; Force should be here in early April 2025.
An advanced copy of this book was provided to me at my request; my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.
I couldn't wait to read the second part of Beau and Dash's journey. FUSION, book #2 in the Gravity trilogy, picks up where Friction left off, and once again Kindle Alexander led me on an emotional journey in which love is tested by ambition, different opinions, separation, and individual growth.
FUSION spans a ten-year period of Beau and Dash's life, a period where there are multiple changes in their relationship, ones which have them both making difficult decisions. Dash is focused on his career and plotting revenge against his father, causing him to constantly neglect and not see how his actions are affecting Beau. At the same time Beau is beginning to realise that the dreams he once shared with Dash are slowly slipping away as Dash spends more hours at work, and he finds himself more and more on his own and feeling alone. Something needs to change, and Beau makes a decision that will change everything between them.
FUSION had me in tears more often than not. My heart broke for both men as they tried to overcome the hurdles in front of them, placed by themselves and by others. The love between them is extraordinary, it never falters, even when they are struggling. These are two realistic characters dealing with realistic problems, and Kindle Alexander has ensured that they are easily relatable to the reader.
Force is the conclusion to Beau and Dash's story, and I can't wait to see if the HEA they deserve is finally attained.
FUSION is a highly recommended read, but make sure you read Friction first.
Fusion picks up where Friction left off, with the couple confronting the fallout from their family members who are determined to tear them apart. Despite these challenges, which would have broken most couples, Dash and Beau grow closer, relying on each other as they start fresh in a new city. As they navigate this change and the pressures of Dash's rapidly advancing career, their relationship faces new tests. Throughout the story, Dash and Beau experience the ups and downs of a committed relationship, sometimes thriving, sometimes faltering. As they mature individually, their bond is tested once more when heartbreak strikes, pulling them apart. However, their unwavering love keeps them connected. When they finally reconnect, they must learn from their past mistakes and work to rebuild their partnership. This journey is both heartwarming and heartbreaking, filled with moments of laughter and tears. The couple's relationship is portrayed with realism, capturing the complexities of real-world love. The conclusion of the trilogy promises a lasting happy ever after, though not without ongoing challenges, reflecting the true nature of long-term relationships.
Fusion picks up right where Friction left off. This second story in the series continues with the relationship between Beau and Dash, two characters whose love story has been marked by both breathtaking highs and devastating lows.
Beau and Dash’s connection began in their teens, only to be torn apart by the manipulative actions of Dash's father. They fought their way back to each other. In Fusion, the tension reaches new heights as Dash seeks revenge for his father's horrible actions. In doing so Dash looses sight of what's important. Beau has never felt so alone and. The fallout is gut-wrenching.
The emotional depth of this story is unmatched. Beau’s loneliness and Dash’s relentless determination to fight for their love are palpable. Kindle Alexander’s writing pulls you in, making you feel every ounce of their pain, longing, and hope.
This series must be read in order. The cliffhanger will leave you aching for the final book in April. If you love stories of love, redemption, and second chances, this series is a must read.
I received this story to review, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Absolutely brilliant again from this talented author!
We caught up from where Dash and Beau's hard fought battle to be together started right after what Dash's parents put them through. It was great to catch up with this couple again after so long, it didn't take me long to get right back into this heart breaking story of love between totally different men, but there love for each other works until it doesn't.
Dash is working not stop to make it as a lawyer and will not stop until he is better than his dad but he is losing sight of the only thing that matters, which is Beau. Beau has put his dreams aside to be supportive of Dash and his future but he is alone most of the time which is not what he wanted for them both. It all comes to a head one night when Beau waits up for Dash after having another holiday alone without Dash.
It was heart breaking to watch this couple try to find there way back to each other and fair play to Dash he never for one minuet gave up on Beau. You find yourself routing for them to see the light at the end of the tunnel and never give up. I couldn't put this book down as was invested in Dash and Beau's lives like i was there with them both. 5 huge stars for this captivating story that never lets you go for a minuet with what was infolding.
This is book two in the Gravity Series and they must be read in order as this book is a continuation of Dash and Beau's story. A book that is full of many ups and downs, heartbreak and deep seated love that teeters on the line of beautiful/devastating, much needed soul searching.
We have watched Dash and Beau find their love and stand for everything they believed in. Now they are finding their new normal in a new city and it isn't a smooth ride to where they have gotten. Sadly to some extent they are almost strangers who dream of the life they once had. Dash's drive for more is practically pushing Beau away, but sadly he can't see that part for the climb. Beau is becoming a shadow of the man he once was. Watching from the sidelines is difficult.
Will the unending love they share be enough to help them find their way back to one another or will they be another sad statistic of when life gets in the way?
I am waiting with baited breathe for the conclusion of their story.

Fusion is the second book in the Gravity series by Kindle Alexander so it goes without saying to please read Friction first.
Not only did I end up loving this narrative, but my feelings toward Dash have also changed. I’m now completely invested in Dash and Beau’s relationship, and look forward to hopefully witnessing them find their ‘happy ever afters’ together during Force which releases early April 2025.
I love everything about Beau, and I hate it when he is hurting. I admire his determination, loyalty and caring nature. Anyone would be fortunate to have him within their close circle. Dash is such a lucky guy because Beau loves him so much. I’m pleased to see changes in Dash that have happened as their story progresses. The secondary characters in this story bring different elements to the storyline. I’d like to see a few of them crumble for the hurt and heartache they’ve caused.
As I have already said, I’m looking forward to continuing Dash and Beau’s journey in Force.
Fusion is part 2 of the Gravity trilogy, and it should be read in order. This is the continuation of Dash and Beau’s love story and boy, do they go through a lot of things here.
I really wanted to slap Dash silly so many times throughout this book. He was just so obsessed with getting ahead at work and becoming a partner and being better than his father that he was a twat to Beau. I’m glad that Beau wasn’t a doormat, even if it took him a while to actually leave Dash and make him see what he could be losing, and actually have Dash do something about it.
I can’t stand Dash’s father, but that’s par for the course. At least they have Beau’s mom and Carter, Amelia, and Scott and his family to more than make up for him. They are a fantastic support system for the guys.
Overall, an angsty, intense, captivating continuation of the series, and definitely my favorite installment so far.
*** Copy provided to Bayou Book Junkie for my reading pleasure, a review wasn’t a requirement. ***
We're back where Friction ended. Dash and Beau are trying to start fresh and leave everything that has hurt them back in the past. But this might prove to be too much for our love birds. Dash is devoted to his job, that takes quite a lot of him.
Beau is struggling with everything and is feeling like he's loosing the man he loves to it. This part was really hard to read as they seemed to be drifting apart after everything that happened to them. Per usual i was crying ugly tears while reading and when they finally found common ground, hope that seemed to be fading rekindled again.
I absolutely love Kindle Alexander and they way their words make me feel. Every single book I've read so far has made me feel like there is always hope after the rain and I can't wait to see these two getting their HEA in book 3.

First off, you need to have read Friction (Gravity Book 1) to truly understand the relationship between Dash and Beau.
Dash Richmond and Beau Brooks have a history from the first time they met when Dash’s father opened up a resort in Southlake and now they have found their way back to each other but he interferes again. Now they are on their way to Chicago so Dash can finish law school and hopefully get a job with a high power law firm. But Dash’s quest to succeed pushes Beau to the wayside when he’s uncomfortable fitting the mold of a lawyer’s partner plus a connection to Dash’s past causes problems that they both need to deal with.
I can’t wait to read to find out how Dash and Beau deal with being back where it all started in Force coming in April.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I completely fell for Beau and Dash in Friction and how despite all of the challenges that they faced, they still found their way back to each other. Fusion picks up where Friction left off and sets a somber mood for even more challenges for Beau and Dash to overcome. I was so excited for them when they found a way to get past the new challenges they faced when Dash's family cut him off and I loved that they got a fresh start in a new city, but from there, it was like watching the disintegration of a beautiful relationship. The reality of that was deep and so many couples go through these same challenges and grow apart for these same reasons and I was just crushed that this was happening to Beau and Dash. I felt deep down though, that they will always find their way back to each other and I am excited to see what their future holds for them in the next book.
This book is book 2 in a trilogy, Friction, Fusion and Force (April '25) and I highly recommend to read the first book to understand who is who and what is going on. It felt a bit like an extended epilogue in the beginning as it picks up where Friction ended and covers about 8 years following Dash and Beau. They're an established couple but have to deal with the fallout from their fathers' conspiracy. I liked the second part better as it is more emotionally challenging. Although I get frustrated with a lack of communication I kind of sited with Beau, setting boundaries . Dash loses himself in work and for quite a lengthy period I disliked him. Lets just say I saw that trainwreck happening. I enjoyed reading it. Nothing gets my heart rate more going than an emotional cluster fudge and not enough pages to resolve all storylines. It's a cliffhanger for sure.
