Only known for two short stories?

This author is a virtual unknown. I could only find two stories and no mention on Wikipedia. The story mentions the parable of Achilles ship and gives a good example in sci fi terms.

Although, first published in 1960, it makes the sci-fi of today seem archaic. For Teichner knew his quantum mechanics viz."Concretised forms of a continuum in its discrete aspects." Yet how many modern sci-fi writers or even "scientists" understand QM? ~Zero.

Vision of the future?

This is a simple story that is more of a philosophical tale. Will this be the future for mankind? Unknown for now.

A variant on the 'Ship of Theseus' paradox, with a slight ontological twist. Very interesting.
