Tiron or Roni, as she is called, has been on earth for six years. She and 31 of her Ruinos shapeshifting aliens escaped a life of slavery from another alien group. She survives on earth by being a prostitute.
Lieutenant Thom DeGrassi is hunting down a serial killer who is targeting sex workers, when he meets Roni. There is an instant connection they are both surprised to feel.

Murder mystery
HEA
Thom suffers from erectile dysfunction, he has never been able to be fully intimate with anyone. Their relationship and overall story is a bit choppy, but I thoroughly enjoyed this unique take on an alien/human romance.
Roni isn’t with any men on-page, and certainly not after meeting. Thom.
Even though this is book two of the series, it works just fine as a standalone.

I like the idea that and that it works both ways! The hero in this one has had It's only with the heroine that... you get the point. Usually, the human partner ends up not being bound by the rules/restrictions of their alien counterparts, or atleast the guys aren't... I so like her way of working the world. What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander, eh?
