"We all have a label...a title that defines us. The problem is, we don't get to choose it."

On the outside, it's just a high school. To many on the inside, it's the best years of their lives. But to a silent minority, it is a living hell. Then one night, a teenager takes his own life, and suddenly the bullying problem is no longer silent. Nielli, Aaron, and Sheridan don't know each other, but tragedy will bring them together in an unexpected way as they try to survive from day-to-day, and the school continues to sweep the real problem under the rug. This powerful young adult novel will tug at your heart as you see what life is like through the eye's of these very different, yet equally victimized teens.

"I'm Sam, or Justin, or Andrew, or even Eduardo. Whoever he wants me to be—whoever he is. So far, no one has ever wanted me to just be Aaron."

Wow! Aria April's debut novel, Insert Title Here, is well written--to say the least. Her prose sings! The dynamic cast of characters are genuine in their thoughts, behaviors, and dialogue, and while they are all "outcasts" in some way and experience bullying to varying degrees, it's easy to connect very closely to at least one. The subject of bullying is universal, though, and this was a story that needed to be told.

Emotionally driven and deeply thought-provoking, Insert Title Here is an intelligent insight into the stressful real lives of "kids today" that is a must-read for both young adults and the grownups who raise them. It is short and gripping. I cannot recommend it enough, and I hope to read lots more from this exciting new author!

I was lucky enough to read this book as a beta reader. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I LOVED it! I think this is a book that people of all ages should read. It will really show you just how fragile people can be and how one thing that you say or do could have a major life changing impact on that person whether you want it to or not. I would say if you liked the book Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher, you will LOVE this book.

The characters are wonderful and its hard to not relate to at least one of them. I can't wait to read more from this impressive author!
Every teenager should be made to read this book at least once in their live.

Aria April takes several difficult topics in this book and she tackles them with grace and precision. I commend her for her amazing insight and talent. Bravo!

I think this should be a compulsory read in all schools. Even though the plot is based upon bullying and hard issues; it is done in a blunt and honest way. None of the characters are self pitiful, just teens facing the problems and people who make life a struggle.
It would be so nice if teens could realise that co-existing with people is easier than constantly picking up on their insecurities.
I think books like this are more important than ever because of social media which can be a great tool for communities, but also allows people to hide behind fake names and troll.
If you haven't read it, i can't recommend it enough!

This novel was an admirable first attempt that ultimately fell short. The prose was stilted and the stories didn't connect as much as expected, leaving it feeling more like an anthology of short stories without much of a connecting theme other than teenage angst. I am a big fan of teenage angst, however, and it certainly got better as it went on.

If my first novel was half what this is, I would proud. However, I would also consider rewriting the first half and submitting it for editing.
