Take a girl like Columbia, put her in a vastly different life with a man unlike anyone she's ever known. Throw in Dimitri's nightmares, the Concierge's disdain for Dimitri's new house guest and a few hundred people looking high and low for the both of them...and it makes for a very interesting read.
Picking up at the end of the last chapter, this novel covers the time until the two leave Hong Kong, before the epilogue of the first bestselling novel in this series, The Beast.

This book follows Dimitri and Colombia(and the Conceirge) in Hong Kong after they have left Vancouver and committed themselves to each other. It takes place BEFORE the epilogue in book 1.
Both are still on a journey of self-exploration but so fiercely in love with each other. There is no one else fit for Dimitri. There is no one else fit for Colombia. They are truly made and built for each other.
Colombia battles her inner demons and has a hard time dealing with the self-imposed "prison" of their home. Dimitri battles with demons of his own and worries over helping Colombia with hers.
Colombia is trained to become an assassin by the Conceirge. During which time, they both slowly become fond of each other. Colombia's restlessness and anxiousness leads to her finding unconventional ways to pass the time. Hence, a very hot threesome. It's during this sexy time that we find out the Conceirge's real name.
The more I read of the Conceirge, the more I like him. He is severely loyal and protective of both Dimi and Colombia. And he could NEVER come between the two of them. He is simply an added bonus.
Dimi is so emotionally deep in this book. The words he spouts out in declaration of his love for Colombia are nothing short of poetic. He is fierce. He is a killer. But above all, he is loving and he loves HARD. I LOVE DIMI!
At the very end of the book, we are introduced to a character named Ioana. We get a brief history of her life. How she left her family at 14 for the promise of a "good life", only to discover that the life promised was a life of prostitution. When she finally was able to escape the brothel, she met and fell in love with an underground ruler named Boian. AKA the "Orphan King". To avoid a life around crime, drugs, etc, she left him when she felt their baby kick for the first time. This is where the book leaves off....Ioana is on the side of the road(resting) and black car pulls up beside her and takes her.
What will happen with Ioana and how does she play into the story??? I am anxious to find out.
I freaking love this series and can't wait to dive into book 3.
I love it, I love the characters, I love the story. What else can I say? This is a stopping point along the road to finding out more from the lives of Columbia and Dimitri. This was intended to be a novella, but I couldn't possibly contain them for such a small span of time...so it became a novel!
I do hope you enjoy their continued story. Please feel free to contact me with feedback, I always love hearing from readers.
PERFECTLY NORMAL takes place in the time between the last chapter and the epilogue of The Beast ☺ Sounds a bit complicated - but it's not.
We never knew what happened to Dimitri & Columbia in that time - the time they spent in Hong Kong and the time they kept searching for Sergei. We only know that they killed him in that epilogue in Paris.
But how they got from Vancouver - via - Hong Kong and Malta to Paris - we might find out now! Not all of it - but at least the Hong Kong bit of it! ☺
The book starts with Dimitri, Columbia & the concierge living in Hong Kong.
(and yesssss - we will find out the congiere's real name!!! It's ............
HA! I'm not telling you!!! ☺☺☺)
They're still hiding from Dimi's ex boss - russian mafia lord Sergei.
And of course they're also hiding because Columbia is on the run from the Canadian police, because she killed her molesting bastard of a step-father.
And while they're in hiding - they're trying to teach Columbia how to fight - how to kill - how to survive.
And because every training session between Dimitri and Columbia ended up in a sweaty sex session - the concierge takes over her training.
And Dimitri might finally be ready to go out into the world - he has been hiding in penthouses for years - ever since his body was badly burned.
But Columbia finally convinced him to have his scars looked at by a plastic surgeon.
I wasn't living before I met you; I was merely existing."
But then, after someone recognizes Columbia on the streets, Dimi decides they have to leave Asia...
WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO COLUMBIA & DIMI??? WILL THE TWO OF THEM GET THEIR HEA??? WILL THERE BE A HORRIBLE CLIFFHANGER??
I'm not telling you that of course ☺
.....you just have to read the book to find out ...
and please do!!!!! Because....

I was sooo happy when Jaden said that this would be a full-length book and not a little novella!
I missed Dimi!!!! ☺
Perfectly Normal was really great!
Kind of totally different than the first book.
Don't know why, but it felt different to me.
It was more of a sweet romance! ☺
Ha! Yeah - I know - there's nothing really sweet about our russian killer and his killer-intern-girlfriend....but it really was an adorable book.
Not only are Dimi & Columbia adorably cute and sexy we also get to know the concierge a bit better - we finally start to really like him!
The book was soo effffing sexy! Whoa!! I can't tell you what was so sexy about it - it would spoil too much - but I LOVED that part!!!!!!!
Of course it's not all sweet and peaceful - we have our suspensy moments too.
Dimi & Columbia are so perfect for each other - both so horrible scarred and abused.
Together we are whole, we are broken when apart.
They need each other to heal.
I REALLY LOVED THE BOOK ♥
Just like THE BEAST - PERFECTLY NORMAL was a wonderfully dark and erotic Love Story about 2 lost souls who are finally able to start to live again - even if it's in a, for us unimaginable, way. For them it's perfect.
It might not be for everybody - it's violent and really dark and twisted - but those things really need to be in the book!!!! Just try it - but don't leave a horrible review because something in it is against your 'religion' ☺☺☺
BOOK #3 LITTLE DOVE WILL HOPEFULLY BE OUT IN AUGUST ☺☺☺
we might even already hear a little eastern-european bit about the next book in the epilogue ☺
I just love when the heroine of the story gets a backbone. In this installment, Columbia is determined to learn what it takes to be a part of Dimitri's life, including how to kill.
This book had all the excitement and action I was missing in the first one. I really liked it. I got a little bothered by how lovey dovey Dimi and Col were, but it was still sweet lol. Dimitri is still my favourite character, however, Columbia has definitely come into her own and has endeared herself to me. I'm not quite as annoyed by her as I was in the previous book. Nico's new role, or rather no longer hidden role, was intriguing, however, But that was the only big issue I had with this book. It was hot as fuck but not my cup of tea. It didn't take away from my enjoyment of the book, so that's a plus. And I'm still interested in finding out more about the mysterious Nico.
I'm really curious about who this Ioana character is and how she ties in with Columbia and Dimitri. I'm sure it's going to be one fun adventure in book 3.
Dimitri.I kind of like him in The Beast. And I think Dimi is actually cute. And since he was a cold heartless bastard, whom fell in love with Columbia, I expect nothing less of him. But, he’s gone soft with the endearment for my taste. The sex drive is still the same is all, but I kept getting read how much Columbia means to him and getting tired of it. That’s all there is, and him being the beast? I totally missed that.
Columbia. She was all like, I know being with Dimi is all dangerous and stuff and yet she doesn't take anything seriously. Okay, at some point in the story, I may have actually understand her recklessness and stupidity, but the damaged has already been done. I totally hate her at some point, understanding her doesn't change anything.
The concierge.Somehow he became a big part in all of this and he is the only constant there is. My feelings for him are neutral and on the verge of liking him, actually. He is a bastard at times but he also has a soft spot and weakness in him that I want to explore. Maybe the reason I’ll read the next book in the series.
The plot? Training and sex. Sex and training. Being cooped up in that penthouse. Training and sex. Setting up and then some furious-angry-sex. That’s a whole lot of sex for the whole 80% of book and really, I don’t actually complaint about it because it was hot, but I was missing the rough fucking and that intensity they have at The Beast. There’s always I want to be good at this stuff but the effort is not there stuff going on that pisses me off. So finally, when its 20% left, there’s some action, literally. And that’s all. It never made up for the disappointment I felt.
And the Epilogue, I don’t know what to make of it though. I may have skim on it, because really, who the hell is another character? It didn't do any good, not catching any interest for me.
Perfectly Normal (The Beast #2) By: Jaden Wilkes 5/5 stars
I was a little confused at first about the timeline of this book, and had to download the first book, The Beast from my cloud and read the epilogue so that I wasn’t left wondering what was going on. So the timeline of this book takes place before the epilogue from The Beast.
Dimitri aka “Dimi” and Columbia aka “Little Dove” have moved to a penthouse in Hong Kong with the concierge...and we finally learn his name!! No, I’m not going to tell you, because it is kinda funny & hot how she finally learns his name.
The concierge is training Columbia on how to fight, not only to protect herself, but also how to kill. She wants to learn for her own safety, for Dimi’s peace of mind and because she wants to be the one to kill Sergei, Dimi’s old bratva boss who tried to kill him.
Of course, there is lots of awesome sex! And Dimi is so deep. His thoughts and words when he talks to Columbia about how he loves her, owns her and will protect her forever just make me want to be with him and have him love me that fiercely. And she loves him just as much. They are nothing without each other, they complete each other.
We get to see a lot more of the concierge in this book, and I really love him as well. He is devoted and loyal and steamy hot!! I hope that we continue to see as much of him in later books as we did in this one.
The epilogue introduces 2 new main characters and we have no idea how they fit in to this story. But I have no doubt that Ms. Wilkes will blow us away in the next book. I’m already concerned for them: their relationship, their well-being, their future and how they will be saved!!
I honestly couldn't wait to get my hands on this book. I always think I know what to expect with Jaden's writing, but she never fails to knock me on my ass!
Perfectly Normal was just brilliant. I absolutely loved this book hard!
We met both Columbia, and Dimitri in The Beast. Perfectly Normal gives you all the details that Dimitri and Columbia went through, that The Beast didn't provide.
God I love these two.
Columbia and Dimitri are just oozing hotness all over. To see how far they've come in their relationship is great. They both have their fair share of "crazy", but god the sex is HOT!
I don't know how, but they just mesh well together.
I don't want to give anything away, but Perfectly Normal is a MUST READ, along with The Beast.
Some might think the story is for people with twisted minds, well those people can SUCK IT, because to me it was a beautiful story of two damaged people coming together.
Jaden once again you WOWED me!
I loved everything about this story, and I really hope this isn't the end of Columbia and Dimitri, because I love them too much to let them go!
Obviously this was a 5 star read for me. If you haven't already one clicked Perfectly Normal, what are you waiting for?
~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads Review Team~
Perfectly Normal picks up right after the end of The Beast but happens before the epilogue of The Beast. We find out what happens in between and a lot of it is smoking hot sex! Holy crap was this book filled with hot sex! I loved how we found out more about the concierge and finally found out his name and how you found out his name was even better! The bond and love between Columbia and Dimitri is stronger and more powerful than ever. This is one awesome couple. I cannot wait to read Little Dove and see what happens next. I hope to see more of the concierge as well; he is one fine piece of meat!
Characters: Well written and you can’t help but like them, flaws and all.
Sex: so flipping hot I needed to change my panties several times while reading!
First off...a warning ***As with the first novel in this series, this story covers dark themes with 18+ sex, murder and violence.***
Perfectly Normal takes place in the time between the last chapter and the epilogue of The Beast. It starts with Dimitri, Columbia and... oops...I almost said his real name.. the concierge living in Hong Kong. The concierge is training Columbia on how to fight, not only to protect herself, but also how to kill. She wants to learn, not only for her own safety, but so she can be the one to kill Dimiti's ex boss, Sergei. This book was full of passion, OMG the passion between Dimi and Columbia is off the charts HOT, hot sex, again...OMG the sex was hot(one scene in particular), suspenseful and action packed. This book had me needing a wardrobe change, more than once, and near the end I thought I might die from all of the suspense! If I didn't fall in love fully with Dimi and Columbia in The Beast, I'm head over heals in love with them now, the concierge too. I know their brand of love is frowned upon and they are ruthless killers, but blame it on the beautifully amazing writing skills of the A-Freakin-Mazing, Jaden Wilkes!
"I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads."
This is the second in the series - and reveals what happened between the last chapter of The Beast, and its epilogue. I found this a clever plot device, as we knew the outcome, but not the journey. It reduced the worry factor, but ramped up the heat. And heat there is aplenty with a twist in the tale which I did not see coming, but that was off the thermometer hot - and both in a mind games and physical way. The development of Columbia's character, and the revelations of Dimi's made this a thoughtful book. And the whole bad guys searching for them, fighting etc. brought another dimension again. Amazing how much can be packed into less than two hundred pages, once you start to dissect it! And it all be claimed as perfectly normal...
Wow I was given the opportunity to Beta read Perfectly Normal the follow on book to The Beast. Jaden has written an amazing second book which flows brilliantly.
Dimi & Little Dove take their love to a whole new level whilst in Hong Kong, that you will feel deep down in your soul. They learn to deal with each others demon's, fight for what they believe in and for each other.
I am not going to go into detail about the story because you need to read and take this emotional rollercoaster journey with them.
You will not be disappointed and I highly recommend Perfectly Normal for a gripping, erotic, dark read.
Dimitri and Columbia’s story continues. After committing a serious crime with just cause, Columbia is more in tune with Dimitri and who he is and how he lives his life.
I love it when the woman becomes as twisted as the man she loves because to me it means she is all in with him. Columbia is all in with Dimitri and has to become as kick ass as him if they are to survive the threat from Dimitri’s enemy.
The Concierge's features more prominently in this book and his connection with the couple because very interesting!
An engrossing read but definitely won’t be everyone’s cup of tea. I enjoyed it!
This book was awesome and wonderful read and continuation of Dmitri and Columbia's story I cant wait to read more of them! Although I didn't understand the epilogue, but I am thinking maybe it was more of a prologue to Dmitri's story before Columbia?
Awesome points of this book
1. Hotness off the charts 10+++ 2. More was revealed of Dimi and Columbia's story and plenty of action.
I f'n LOVE Dimi and Little Dove…like seriously want to hug them for the warm fuzzies their f'd up relationship give me. Both so broken and jagged alone but together they are so amazing and balance each other perfectly.
As much as I loved The Beast (Book #1) and the epilogue was absolutely perfect I think I may have peed a little when I found out Jaden was making a follow-up to it. I was soooooooo excited to get my kindle fingers on Perfectly Normal and I absolutely freaking loved it…though she took a different direction than I was anticipating by expanding on the time in between The Beast and the epilogue. In Perfectly Normal you get a better look at the interactions between Columbia and Dimi and what makes them work so well together…as well as more insight into the personal demons both battle on a regular basis. I got so flippin sucked into this book it that I never realized I was nearing the end and when it ended and I was like…WTF!!! And then I read the epilogue and OMFG!!! Jaden did something a little out of the ordinary with the epilogue that will blow you to pieces…but it will make you want to pose and practice your one-clicker for the next book. I can't tell you because that would be mean and cruel…but I am warning you to hold on to your panties for the shock!!! Waiting may literally kill me…I am itching that badly to see where she will take us.
Anyways, for those of us who know Jaden's work there is no surprise that this book is NOT intended for those under 18 or who are offended by cursing, lots of hot sex, or violence and it f'n rocks!!! Anyone who fits the above description…move on, as you will only be offended and upset and I would hate for that to effect this awesome author in the long run because you did not read any reviews and just got one-click happy…THIS IS A WARNING if you are reading it that is ;)
Now, for the fact I am giving this a 4 instead of a 5 (really more of a 4.5-4.75 in my opinion but we don't get to rate them like that, which sucks arse)… I loved the book, truly I did!!! Without giving anything away…because that would be really crappy of me…for ME there were blanks between the ending of The Beast (epilogue) and the ending of Perfectly Normal that went unfilled and could have been switched around or expanded on. Also, as I stated earlier, the epilogue of Perfectly Normal takes you waaaayyyy out into left field but I need to see what she does with it before I really comment other than I can't wait for the next book to see how she ties it in to the storyline.
If you haven't read The Beast go one-click both these babies and enjoy the ride…otherwise stop reading this f'n review and just click the bitch already and continue on with Dimi and Little Dove!!! Hopefully I was PC enough for my review not to be rejected…guess if you can read this I was ;)
Perfectly Normal is book two in The Beast series by Jaden Wilkes, this is a dark erotica and not for the faint of heart. Dimi and Columbia’s love is one of the most viciously potent loves that will tear you down before building you back up … because of this proceed with caution. Also, it is not a stand alone, you need to read The Beast in order to fully appreciate Perfectly Normal.
We pick up shortly after Dimi, Columbia, and the concierge fled for Hong Kong in an attempt to keep their enemies from closing in on them. Columbia is training to be able to better protect herself because it’s not a question of if Sergei is coming for them, but when. Columbia wants to be able to do her part and protect her man as much as he wants to protect her.
The chemistry between these two is off the charts smoldering hot. Forget sparks these two are completely engulfed in flames and endlessly burning. I cannot get enough of Dimi and Columbia. Dimitri was extremely closed off in The Beast, he slowly opened up to Columbia and let her in — in Perfectly Normal the way he is openly affectionate had my heart melting. Having such a hard man with a horrific past be so tender with his woman is a complete panty melter.
There are several things about this book/series that make it phenomenal…
First Dimi is a dirty talker. Not just a little dirty, he puts the best dirty talkers in the book world to shame. “You are a cock hungry little bitch, aren’t you?”
“I want to suck you clean after I’ve filled you, I want to lay you down and lick every inch of you.”
Second it has one of the best pet names … ever. “You are my warrior, my queen, my little dove.”
Third Dimi says stuff like this … “Scars are not a disfigurement, they are a sign telling the world that you fucking survived whatever it was that tried to kill you.” And this … “We weren’t living, we were just surviving. Limping along with half our heart.”
Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh are all because it just IS. I could tell you each thing, but then I would be spoiling and we all know I don’t roll that way. So you’ll just have to read the book/series to see why it’s one of my favorites.
Perfectly Normal gets FIVE deliciously dark and twisty stars and FIVE PLUS drenched panties for some of the hottest smut of 2014. Dimi is for sure one of my top five dirty talkers of 2014. A Mommy’s a Book Whore certified must read now!
Perfectly Normal is Jaden Wilkes' continuation and companion novel of the characters from The Beast. Those of us that are fans of Ms. Wilkes could not get enough of Dimitri and Columbia's story so she heard our cries of "More!" (cries, begging, stalking, tears, promises of cleaning her house, car, dog...whatever it took)and wrote this amazing book to tell their story some more. If you have not read The Beast I highly recommend starting with that book (go now please reader and download immediately) first so you understand the dynamic love and emotions of these two broken people...and broken they are. But dear reader, that is what makes this story so fantastic. What is love? What defines normal? Who are we to judge what two people find in each other to make themselves whole again? Gives them hope, love, devotion?
This book explores those questions and more. It takes that journey and tells their story of environment in which these two amazing character lived in, survived in, of who they are today...drives them...motivates them...gives them their greatest achievements or their darkest nightmares. Is this story full of rainbows and kittens? NO...it is a dark journey...a dark story, and that is the brilliance of Ms. Wilkes and her writing. She makes you fall in love with Dimitri and Columbia (Dimi and Col) when you shouldn't love them. She makes you cheer and fist pump (hopefully when no one is watching) when they achieve greatness and come out warriors in a battle of wits and swords.
With it's beautiful cover of a strong woman...a warrior with battle scars (and a reason for those scars)this book is Erotic and Dark as all of Jaden Wilkes' books. If you read this book keep that in mind dear reader and be fair to the book and author. There is lots of graphic sex (hot, graphic sex), details of abuse, and violence.
I myself enjoyed this journey with these two dynamic characters and can't wait for them to tell me more.
O-M-G!!! That was one HAWT read!!! Perfectly Normal by Jaden Wilkes gave me a little of everything that I never knew I needed in a novella. Dimitri and Columbia are finally happy in this follow-up of The Beast. I mean nothing about their relationship is “conventional” but in Perfectly Normal these two, in their atypical way, see sprinkles of HD techni-color in their once grey and gloomy lives.
They love. They engage in kink-foolery. They train, fight, and kill. They absolutely give you everything they have in this story of love in a hopeless place. Even the concierge gets a name and a voice and a strong supporting role in some of the tom-kinkery that ensues. He went from a guy lurking in the shadow to a lead in the Dimitri & Columbia show.
I must say that I REALLY liked the story this novella told. If you are a Jaden Wilkes fan, you already know this book is not for the faint of heart, how so and ever it is not too dark, slightly grey but not a dark dark tale. I mean, there are a lot more darker and more disturbing stories out there.
I digress. In this novella, Jaden Wilkes made the love of two abnormal individuals seem perfectly normal. Job well done Mrs. Wilkes…job well done!!!
PAUSE…
But that Epilogue though…? I cannot say that I have completed my review without mentioning the epilogue that introduced an entire cast of new characters out of absolutely nowhere. I don’t know where Jaden Wilkes is taking her readers, but I must say I was slightly intrigued and definitely am awaiting to see where she is heading with this one.

****I received this copy in exchange for an honest review****
I was looking for a different read from the ones I've been currently reading. You know when you just need a change of pace and read something dark, erotic and romantic.
Yes I did say romantic, even though Little dove and Dimi and how would I say, not the sanest people in the world (but who is, I'm not) they are still totally and utterly in love with each other, which in my opinion is romantic. Other readers may beg to differ.
This story picks up from the end of then first book The Beast, and tells us about the time Columbia and Dimitri ( oh I do love that name as it is my brothers lol) are in Hong Kong and the events that happen while they are there ( I'm not going to tell you want happens no matter how much I want to).
We also find out more about the concierge and also his name....... (Drum roll)........ Nope not going to spoil that either you are just going to have to buy the book.
This read was one of those which captivated you right from the start, and you just had to read right through to the end.
There's one thing though I'm not happy about JADEN, how can you leave me hanging like that, I need the next book right now, that epilogue has made me wanting more. I tell you one thing you have to be patient in reading books that are in a series. There's one thing though I'm not a very patient person lol.
On a serious note though Jaden you continue to surprise me each time, your books are a fantastic read and you have immense talent. I'm definitely looking forward to your next book
After reading and loving “The Beast” I was super excited to learn that Jaden was going to continue with Columbia and Dimitri’s story. “Perfectly Normal” fills in the gap between the last chapter and the epilogue, so if you haven’t read “The Beast” do that first, you will not regret it.
Their story continues with Columbia and Dimitri on the run and at the same time navigating their passionate new relationship. These characters are so extremely perfect for each other and the sex scenes Jaden writes for them are incredibly hot!!! There is something so beautiful about these two sad and damaged souls finding solace in one and other. It is great to see Columbia becoming more confidant and coming into her own and it is amazing to see the softer and completely devoted side of Dimi. This man has a way with words and I found myself highlighting his quotes on every other page.
Between the steamy sex and the edge of your seat action I couldn’t put this book down. An interesting addition to this book was the introduction of some brand new characters in the epilogue that I imagine will cross paths with Columbia and Dimitri in the future. I cannot wait to read more about all of these characters and I am eagerly awaiting the third book in the series, “Little Dove”.
Well I am definitely the minority here. I did not like this book. I wanted to, and I tried but the one thing that bugs me in series is when we have a huge personality change. Columbia our h is a complete whiny annoying bitch.
I liked Columbia in book 1. She was mature, strong, yes broken but understanding and showed love.
Here we get her acting like this:
“She knew he was right, but she wasn’t done. “I don’t want to end up here, trapped like a fucking animal, living like an animal. Like you!”
So this book picks up from the last chapter of book 1. Columbia is wanted for Murder for brutally killing her stepfather. Dimitri is still being hunted down by the Russian mob and this heffer spends most of the book whining about being safe, having a body guard and spending a lot of time at home. Go to jail than bitch. Geez.
Dimitri spends a lot of the book kissing her ass and doing everything to make her feel better.
The sex on the book was still hot and the ending kicked ass because we got to see Dimitri in action killing mob guys. Surprisingly Columbia kicks ass too and doesn't bitch or complain.
The epilogue had nothing to do with the couple but I'm assuming it's gearing me for book 3. I just don't think I'm going to read it. Should have stopped with 1.
Perfectly Normal is Jaden Wilkes' continuation and companion novel of the characters from The Beast.
It was a good read, but i didn't like it as much as the first book. this book filled us in on the huge gap between what happened at the end of Beast #1 and the epilogue. I like how we get the journey these two had to take to get from the final chapter and the epilogue of The Beast.
We get to see a lot more of the concierge in this book, and I really love him as well. He is devoted and loyal and steamy hot!! I hope that we continue to see as much of him in later books as we did in this one. Holy smoke I really didnt live Columbia mother
The epilogue introduces 2 new main characters and we have no idea how they fit in to this story. But I have no doubt that Ms. Wilkes will blow us away in the next book.
Perfectly sexy, perfectly violent, perfectly disturbing, perfectly killer...just nothing perfectly normal about these two (or rather three) companions and housemates. Columbia is being trained to fight, to protect herself, to kill by the Concierge (who we finally get a name for!) and Dimitri...a broken and damaged threesome of people who strangely cling to each other for comfort and support. Feelings and emotions get twisted up and as they attempt to stay hidden and safe from Sergei and his posse, Columbia and Dimitri's relationship turns a corner and they reach a new level of commitment and passion. This book was one sickly violent but really HOT and sexy continuation of The Beast...without giving too much away...there is one HUGE sexual escapade that is steamy enough to melt away anyone's undies and left me slightly over-heated. You will know what I am referring to once you get to the part where things take a major turn for Columbia and a certain person who she had issues with and who will now be a changed man forever.
Epilogue was intriguing and mysterious and leaves you wondering WTH will happen and who is this mysterious woman going to be in the next book.
***** 5 ***** "perfectly normal to be craving more" stars
Super excited to read this beings I just love The Beast. Yet this book was a little different. Yes you get all the spice between the sheets and tables, chairs, counters and benches but you also see these two imperfect dangerous people coming together to be perfectly normal.
There was emotion shown in this one, and dare I say a consuming love of all time. Yes, theirs was. The threesome scene totally threw me off, I was looking forward to seeing Dimi getting his cotton swabbed, but he turned the tables on Columbia and they all three got what they truly wanted. And it was emotional and HOT as hell!
Columbia totally came into her on, whipped into shape, controlled her mind and her desires and became the badass bitch of a little dove I will always remember. Dimi that bad ass alpha taught her, sex is a release of energy. Love is something on a higher plane, a spiritual connection to another being. I love that!
Jaden left me hanging on the Epilogue! I wonder what this means! Now I'm left longing, as a drowning man longed for his last breath! Dam u, but Thank You Jaden! I loved it!
I freaking LOVED The Beast, book 1, which introduced us to Dimitri and Columbia. This is book is BETTER than the first!
After leaving Vancouver for Hong Kong, Dimitri, Columbia and the concierge get settled into a new routine. Columbia wants to seek revenge on the monster who tried to kill her love, so with the help of the concierge, she trains in hand to hand combat on a daily basis.
Dimitri and Columbia's passions for each other have only grown stronger. Their passionate, primal, brutally viscious love is all encompasssing. They don't just live together, they live FOR each other. Everything they do is for the benefit of the other. Two halves of a whole.
Their sex scenes are scorching hot. Jaden introduces some new elements into thier intimacy (I won't tell you, because that would spoil it!), as well as a few surprising twists that fill you with anxiety AND anticipation!
I'm SO looking forward to the continuation of Dimitri and Columbia's story.
*There are some very graphic elements in this book. If you are looking for rainbows and butterflies, this book is NOT for you!*

~Review~
It’s not every day when you stumble with a great story and want to devour anything that the writer had ever written. And I can’t deny the huge surprise that I received when I luckily got to read the ARC of Perfectly Normal by Jaden Wilkes.
It’s a dark, mind blowing; action packed, hot, erotic, sadistic romance! This story it’s incredible! Jaden Wilkes, has outdone herself again with her deliciously twisted tale of Colombia and Dimitri. The story has an exquisite edginess of dark and sensuality that it’s simply amazing! My love for the protagonist’s and the Concierge has grown so much since reading Perfectly Normal. It made me realize that even if life’s make’s you fierce and strong, there’s somebody who will make you bend in order to keep surviving. Overall, it’s a must read! (Go buy it now!)

Holy Sh*t! This book is very hot! But then, what else should I expect from the dirty-minded Jaden Wilkes? This book should come with a warning label, the sex scenes are very dirty and very naughty. So Columbia and Dimitri are currently holed up in Hong Kong with the concierge. She is being trained to fight by the concierge, whom she is also attempting to endear herself to despite his seeming indifference and occasional distaste for her. In this book you see a definite progression in Columbia and Dimitri's relationship and the strengthening of their feelings for each other. Despite the downright dirty f*cking it is obvious how much they love each other. Jaden left us with a very intriguing epilogue which introduces us to a new character whose story seems set to blow our minds. And with Columbia and Dimitri still having unfinished business, this combined with the epilogue ensures that anyone who reads this book will be left wanting more.
This is a great complimenting story to The Beast. Jaden really knows how to suck you in to the story.
Wondering what happens next after the dark meeting of Dimi and Columbia? Then dive into this erotic tale to find out. Columbia is learning to protect herself and find her way. Dimi is her everything as she is his. Watch as they fight for the connection between them. This connection is nothing short of something that will rattle your mind and body to the very depths of your soul.
If you haven't already, dive into The Beast and snag Perfectly Normal. I highly suggest reading them in order. If you had any doubts after reading The Beast, this will push them right out of your ever-reading-loving head. So don't pass this one up.
I was given the opportunity to be one of Jaden's BETA readers for Perfectly Normal. I loved it...the Beast is AMAZING!! You are introduced to a new character, which I'm sure you will love as much as I did. Now on to my review...
As Dimitri and Columbia continue on their life's journey in Hong Kong, they now are faced with new challenges and some doubt. While Dimitri constantly confesses his love to his Little Dove, she gets the itch to want to psychologically suppress the doubt and needs more. The more....is very nice!!! Their imperfection becomes perfection...both vow to one another to kill for each other....Will this be necessary?? Stay turned for book 3 to find out and add this to your TBR list.
This book was okay. I don't remember Columbia being so annoyingly immature and childish in the Beast and because of her actions, I struggled with finishing this book.
Dimitri was still as alpha as ever and I do like his character. I enjoyed getting to know more about Concierge and finding out his name. He's not near as hard and uncaring as he wants people to think. There are some hot scenes and some violence.
I appear to be in the minority with my review and that's okay. Everyone has different opinions. I personally just had a hard time with Columbia and didn't care for this book much at all. Nothing really was accomplished other than Columbia being trained to fight and she and Dimitri having sex daily - which I have no trouble reading. I just like a little more story to go with it.
Jaden, you never disappoint! I was in love with Dimitri in The Beast! Then came Perfectly Normal....Dimitri and Columbia are 2 peas in a pod. They are made for each other! The things they must over come all in the name of LOVE. This book drew me in from the first page and I couldnt put it down till I enjoyed every page. Cant wait for Little Dove to come out, that epilogue was kick a$$. Cant wait to tie it all together! Thanks for being such a great author! You have become one of the few that when I see a new release, I drop everything and one click. I know your books are written with total LOVE!!!!
