A love story set in stone
Samantha King has dedicated all her young life to mining sapphires – and at a cost. Her husband is killed in a mining accident trying to get her the biggest sapphire he can find – a golden sapphire she finds clutched in his hand when his body is recovered.

The book started out with a great premise that was handled well. Once the romance befuddlement kicked in, the book evaporated into a gelatinous, hot mess.
