Harry Potter/Merlin (TV) Crossover
AU from end of HBP. There are some things that are just not supposed to happen, some wrongs which should not occur; these are the things Merlin knows he and Arthur were created to prevent. Then of course there are also some things that would make things better if they happened and folly or stupidity has stopped them from occurring; Merlin likes to put these back on track as well; Arthur calls that part meddling.

It's an exciting crossover but I feel it needed a lot more character detail when it came to the Merlin character's. They are the ones arriving in the Hogwarts setting so I feel that kind of overwhelmed the new character's. It's good but i feel with the pressure of bringing 2 worlds together it requires more.

Drarry/Merthur crossover fic

The fic opens on the astronomy tower with Arthur stepping out of thin air and deflecting Snape's AK before it reaches Dumbledore. Merlin steps into being as well, and they set about making things as right as they can without interfering with the prophecy about Harry being the one who has to deal with Voldemort.

So much about this AU was just spectacularly original. My only complaint is that it ended. I would love to get to spend more time in this AU and see how the changes play out.

Some Favorite Quotes:
"Hello," said the dark haired man cheerfully and turned to Dumbledore, "this is Arthur and I'm ..."
"Merlin," Dumbledore said and for the first time ever in Harry's experience, the headmaster sounded in awe.

"But we are here to help," Merlin said, clearly trying to cheer him up, "and you'd be amazed how far you can bend a prophecy when you have to."

"Merlin does a lot of things with his magic he fails to understand."

Hermione stopped and blinked for a moment.
"Code names?" she asked in a hopeful tone.
