Words is a short poem that's a taste of an upcoming collection of poetry that I'm working on. The poem started out as a simple observation of the snow in moonlight, and turned into a poem with more to offer.
I'm offering it free to my readers. I've had it on my blog, where it's gotten much response, and wanted to give everyone another way to access it.
Robert has been writing poetry since the eleventh grade. His writing started as impulsive rambling, but soon became a passion. A few years later, he attended SUNY Potsdam where he received a B.A. in Creative Writing.
His main focus is poetry, but he's also known for dabbling in short fiction, and at times erotica. Robert has also created the blog A Life Among The Pages, where he posts about his writing, love of books, and reviews books.
When he's not reading or writing, Robert enjoys spending time with his dog, Deuc. Deuc ran out of the woods in August 2011 and they have been inseparable ever since.
WORDS is a beautiful, rhythmic poem which very elegantly, through the use of vivid imagery, conveys feelings and thoughts, especially through descriptions of the loveliest times of winter, an allegory for life itself. It is a piece filled with mood and attention to detail which typifies the works of this poet and author.
Words is a Sweet and Short sneak peek at Roberts new upcoming collection. In the poem Words Robert writes about seeing the beauty of the world around us and trying to capture it in word form, something i think Robert is rather good at.
A beautifully written poem. Have enjoyed reading it several times in the last few days. It is a beautifully written poem about the beauty around us. I loved this sneak peek into his collection of poems. If all are like this then it will be a great read.
This is a great poem and I just wished I could find more poetry books because I have always enjoyed reading them especially when they can hit so close to my heart and this is one that seems like a great start...

This poem definitely gives you something to think about. What would be lost if we did not have words? Non-verbal, non-written communication only goes so far.

This is a nice, gentle and soft-spoken poem in one convenient chapbook. Though it’s short, it packs a powerful feel. I like its deep feelings without being overwrought or pushy.
I recommend this book as an introduction to a talented poet. Wo
