Hands down the best fanfic I have ever read. The characters I know and love were treated with care, I came to love characters I used to not care for, and the story was truly well thought out and super interesting! I was hooked right away - the worldbuilding is incredible, and attention to detail is top notch. My only negative is that this amazing story is unfinished - I would love to know what happens next!

I don’t have good things to say, so I’ll leave it blank.
3 starts because I like to recognize the hard work.

Harry doesn’t have a part of Voldie’s soul. Severus is the richest wizard alive and has 4 siblings?
Harry might have superpowers but we will never know.

I loved, loved this book. But why didn't she finish it? I am currently reading another author's attempt at ending it. It's not the same, but what choice do I have? Sigh.

Government corruption is the least of Harry’s problems in this exciting tale by Josephine Darcy. Nothing will ever be the same in Harry’s sixth year. Forced by the ministers actions Harry is forced to try a last ditch attempt to avoid Voldemort. He agrees marry Severus Snape so as to become a legal adult. Snape is the least of his worries as international treaties are broken, lives are ended and the very world itself seems to be coming to an close. Harry must rise to the occasion and sacrifice himself for the greater good and expose himself to unimaginable evils no man has ever came back whole from. All the while juggling his school life, his married life to a man that hates him, and the intricacies that a pureblood family such as the Snape line possess. What to wear, how to act, and which spoon to use? Unfortunately for Harry these were not the worst hardships he had to overcome.
The story in and of itself is very well made and has good length for a fanfiction. The main relationship never gets past anything more than a steamy flame which I enjoyed because the explicit varieties are overdone and corney. This was actually a smidge believable. The authors writing was solid although it lacked the magic of the original series which is to be expected from a more immature writer. The best done part of the book by far was the extended world building. This has always been my problem with the original series as it seems to taper off the amount of new magic introduced in a manner where the main trio can use it. The whole expelliarmus here and expelliarmus that. In this one it builds continually and builds it from a rock hard foundation of truths she plans out for. By far the best part of the story. More mature audiences would enjoy this book as there are themes of violence and sexuallity. Overall however I enjoyed it.

Gonna be honest.

I had to start skimming some of the political chapters at the end and then I got to the last chapter and it was a WIP. I (clap) had (clap) no (clap) idea. This whomping 1500 page book was a well executed and thought out AU with heavy Norse mythology leanings. However, due to family problems, the author had to temporarily abandon this feat.

This book now has over 8 million hits. And is considered still a ff masterpiece.

only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is it's not finished. I don't even ship this couple and only started this fic because I was so baffled by how the pairing would even work and wanted to not why it was such a popular fic, then got utterly sucked in- if you need proof that if a writer is good enough they can make you enjoy anything, then this fic is it.
