For the masses who choose to traverse life with heads lowered, the lies are comfortable. For the few daring to look closer, the truth will be horrifying.

Jonathan’s books always amaze and this one is no different! Thrive far surpassed any expectations I had when I started reading it. The characters are diverse, well-developed, and thoroughly enjoyable. The story itself is one of the extreme survival of the fittest concepts and takes the term phys ed to the a whole new level. Jonathan has crafted a Dystopian world that is both believable and engaging. It is a word where staying inside the city depends upon meeting your goals no matter where you work. If not, you get exiled outside the city walls, to a world where there is nothing, or so the citizens are led to believe. The truth in fact is that the citizens of the city have been lied to their entire lives, there is in fact more cities out there and those citizens that learn the truth are exiled. This is a story of deep mystery and for every question answered, more questions are uncovered. I cannot wait to see where Jonathan goes with this new series. It is as always amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone.

I really enjoyed this story, and the price from Amazon was too good to be missed.
To start I thought I was going to be reading a rehash of Logans Run as the description seemed to have a similar premise at first glance, but this is different and far superior in my opinion.
The style of writing reminded me a little of the 'condensed' books I read when I was younger, there's not a lot of descriptive writing, instead the author concentrates on the story, which moves at a great rate, keeping your interest from the first chapter.
The standard of editing wasn't great in my version, spelling mistakes and words used in the wrong context shouldn't really make it through to the sale item, but this didn't spoil my enjoyment of the story.
Summary: a great read, but please send your book out to proof readers before releasing for sale.

Fans of "The Maze Runner" will certainly enjoy "Thrive" by Jonathan Yanez. In the future, mankind has barely survived extinction. Confined to a utopian city, the only thing that separates the survivors from the unknown is a massive wall around the city. But there are secrets that suggest there might be more out there...
As a fan of dystopian novels, I enjoyed this book. It felt more plot-driven than character-driven, which was okay with me. The mystery of what lies beyond carries throughout the novel at a steady pace. While it wraps up neatly, the ending is left open for a possible sequel.
I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good dystopian YA novel.

An amazing tale of friendship, deceit, and determination creates an edge of your seat experience. This book was captivatingly wonderful and hard to put down. With their worlds turned upside down and reality a blur, a group of survivors bans together to overthrow an unseen enemy. Their once seemingly perfect lives turned upside down forces them into survival mode. Packed with plenty of action you wont want to miss this remarkable story. Loved every death defying moment and can't wait for the next book in this series! Thank you Jonathan Yanez for an other turely amazing adventure! Keep them coming.

well done... Yanez weaves an intricate tale with authentic characters and a tantalizing plot. It's a compelling ride into a world that feels all too real.
