2.5 shortie stars
Undercover is a quick erotic thrill ride, of a woman on a mission, who is prepared to do what ever is necessary to get the job done. Sent in undercover she gets the attention of Jed, the club's VP, if there was anyone who could help her, it's him…not only was he the best choice for her job but her body too…
But the problem with sex, especially with a sexy alpha who does everything he can to protect you, it's not just sex anymore. Late night pillow talk, under the cover of night, has a way of showing you what kind of person someone really is and sometimes they just take you by surprise.
It was a quick short read that was perfect for bed time, and even though there Is more to their story this had a sense of a chapter closing in their life. Not sure if I'm gonna jump in to the next book just yet, maybe someday, there was nothing about it that pulled me in enough to want to immediately continue. Both Leslie and Jed were likable, Leslie more so than Jed, he seemed just like most alpha bikers who wanna do the right thing while Leslie is a much more unconventional character. A fun hot freebie to add to my collection.

This was an alright quick read, I guess.
It had just enough intrigue for me to keep me from rolling my eyes in some instances. The hero was interesting, but I wish he was more fleshed out as a character. Considering the amount of importance placed upon him and his place within the story.
The heroine? Mmmmm.. How do I say this? She wasn't really TSTL, IMO. But she just didn't fit the bill really, for an undercover DEA agent. I didn't buy her position or why she was in Jed's path. The plot surrounding them was interesting enough, and kept me intrigued. And there were some very hot moments here, but overall it could have been so much better.
This one ends with an unbelievable solution/HFN too. It was just way too quick & easy for my tastes. Even though this is a quick/Novella read. For all that you get here in this brief story, I thought the ending would have been more layered & believable to some degree.
I'm still on the fence on whether or not I will read the 2nd book in this series, but it does have me a bit curious. So we shall see.
If you're looking for a quick read, one that has some hotness, but not a lot of depth in plot/scenarios then I would recommend this one.
Otherwise, if you're looking for something more, I wouldn't suggest you start here.

I was intrigued by the premise but disappointed by the story and the main characters. Leslie the heroine is TSTL in my opinion. She's an undercover agent for the DEA and trying to get close to the higher ups in the Winged Enemy outlaw motorcycle club. Jed is the VP of the club and her target. However, she doesn't just bend the rules to get close to him. She throws the rulebook out the window along with her honor and dignity.
Somehow things work out in the end. Leslie keeps her job and Jed does not go to prison. I found it hard to believe that would be possible.

Light and sexy rather short story about DEA agent infiltrating an MC and becoming immediately involved with the club's vice president. I really needed to read something like this after the last three books I had read by Mia Sheridan. They were so intense and emotional. I needed to read something fun that wouldn't make me cry.

It was an okay read. There wasn't too much depth to the story which was a bit disappointing because it seemed as if there was the possibility of a decent story brewing there.

Not much wrong with this one, it is just not my taste for the main lady to be more dominant than the male, especially when the male is a biker, I mean, the alpha male is just writing itself with a biker, right? :D

not bad
I love MC stories and this one had a lot of drama and action. I took one star off bc I wanted Jed and Leslie to connect on a deeper level. Their connection seemed based only on sex. Plus I wanted more backstory on them. Hopefully the second book goes into more detail.

This book gets a 3.5 star rating from me mostly because it was too short and too rushed to be believable.
A DEA agent who is supposed to infiltrate a biker gang to get intel on their operations is a great story line done properly, but to have it be so fast and wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am they jump in the sack within an hour or so and she becomes his lady just like that...very unrealistic and wouldn't happen. I see real potential for a good book, but wish it had been longer and the characters more fleshed out instead of essentially a short story. Now there is a continuation available but unless it goes on a big sale or is put on a free promo I probably won't read it. Everything got wrapped up a bit too neat at the end and not sure how it ended would fly with a real MC. Good for a free, short read though.

Well, well... I can't really tell you much about the story because I never got to read past the first chapter. Why is that, you may ask.
First of all, it was written in 1st person POW - which I hate. But that's neither the author's nor the editors' or formatter's fault. But as I liked the idea of the story (and it started out steamy enough LOL), I decided to have a go, anyway.
But - and that's a BIIIG but - even on the smallest font setting on my e-reader, the font size was still rediculously large. So much so that there were never more than 3 or 4 sentences on one page.
Sorry, but that made me drop the book after just one chapter, it was too much hassle to read fluently.
Just as well it was a free download, too ;)

Surprisingly for a short 100 paged, fast paced read, this was a pretty good book. Its one of those quick fixes for us MC addicts when we're in need of a good MC book but we're waiting for a favorite release to come out, this book will do the trick. The story flows pretty nicely, the characters are likable and the sex is dirty and hot. Some readers mistakenly thought this was a cliffhanger but it really wasn't, the story between Jed and Leslie was complete, the next two books just continue on with their relationship but we aren't left with a big 'OH HELL NO', the story here is told and finished. For a free MC read we really can't ask for more...

I liked Jed the VP and Leslie okay enough, I just didn't fully believe the storyline. Yeah, I can see a lady DEA officer going in undercover, but the the way the story ended was a little harder to believe. The act the president makes Leslie do to try and prove she's not a spy of some sort, isn't something I could realistically see happening. Then when Leslie tells Jed the truth, there's no way he'd so easily forgive that.
It was okay for a free book, but I doubt I'll read the next one.

I liked this steamy, action packed novella. The story was very short and I think it was good enough to be made in to a longer book and not seem to be so rushed as it did at times. Leslie a DEA agent, and is sent undercover in an MC club to get info. on their operation, it's a make or break assignment. Then she meets Jed the clubs vice-president. Damn, he's hot. Can she do her job? Can she resist him? Oh cause not.
A steamy little book. I look forward to the sequel.

This was a very quick read for me. I enjoy a good biker book and this one was full of excitement in a short span. Everything happens in just a few days, so some of it is a little crazy, but it is a biker book and if you watch SOA, then you know that life is cray cray anyways!!! ;)

Unfortunately the story wasn't as hot as its cover. Undercover wasn't a bad story, it works as a romantic fantasy not quite hot enough to be an erotic but its decent. Definitely not to be taken seriously but if you can look beyond that to the basic story of the characters and their relationship its an alright read so I gave it three stars.

Hmmmm not too sure what to say about this one. Not a bad story line but just found it to be a little unbelievable. I found it surprising that Jed could so easily accept every thing Leslie had arranged for him yet still seem to feel something for her after she had played him and his club. I guess it helped a little that she did try saving them but still....

Cringed at a female using the word tits to describe her breasts and that was just the beginning. Have some respect ma'am!
This was too far fetched, rushed way to quickly and I read nothing steamy enough to mist up my goggles.
I need to stop going for freebies as I'm begging to realise why they are just that!

I really enjoyed this book.
I thought the story line was great and the writing was quite good.
I do however feel that it coud have been made into at least a 300 page book.
There was definately a lot of room for it to be drawn out futher. :)
