All I have to say is readers be prepared to have some fun after reading this story. Make sure you are in a cool place, with an extra cold drink and if that doesn’t work to cool off then maybe a nice cold shower will do.
After reading Booty Call I have to say that if I could know two people then these are two that I would want in my life. I would love to see how their relationship strengthens, how their love overcomes everything but most of all to know that all of their dreams come true. So before I continue with this review I have to say something about this author and her amazing writing skills. I know that she just starting off with her writing career but I have to say that she has come far in her writing. I love hot steamy reads and the more that I read her books the hotter they get but it’s not only that it’s the moral of her stories that is even better.
Max Renfroe is struggling with his emotions because of bad news he received. He can’t believe what she wants but over his dead body will she get anything from him. After Max got a divorce I guess you could say he was a playboy but the women that he was with knew that there were no strings attached. But a spitfire of a woman walked into his bar and it was like something sparked in him, it’s like he was a different person. She did not fall at his feet; sure she flirted with him but nothing more. He found himself wanting to see her, hold her, kiss her but he knew it was not love. Oh come on dude he was screwed, he was head-over-heels in love with her.
Raelynn Bardwell is a workaholic and with that has had no time for relationships. I knew there was something else with her but I never would have thought it would be that. I know that he was climbing the ladder and work and she had a great opportunity but when love happens things change. She knew what they said about Max and how he went out with woman but there was something charismatic about him. When she gives into the chemistry that they have she pulls back. It’s so weird how it’s her pulling back and not Max. The part that I could not believe was that she was running away from him, crap I would not be running away from that sexy stud I would be running to him and telling him to never let me go.
Max and Raelynn were perfect for each other but the relationship that they had and it was a relationship needed to be defined. I loved how they said that they liked each other but when Raelynn sees something different in Max she freaks out. I could not believe she was acting childish, she should have talk to him but I did understand. She also needed to let go of the past and be happy. Now as for Max he also needed to let someone in but what did it for me with him were his notes to her. I could not believe how he could express himself in writing but it was hard face to face. Can Max and Raelynn heal themselves?
Booty Call was an exceptional read that had me hook from the beginning. I love all the exciting, creative scenes that Ms. St. Claire created in this story. The characters were well developed and the pace of the story was perfect. The chemistry and emotions of the characters were felt in her writing. I could not believe that my favorite candy bar made a debut and you will not believe this I was eating one while I was reading this story. I started laughing so hard but then I wanted to hug Max and make him feel better. I have to be truthful I had not read the synopsis of this story so as I looked it up in Goodreads and I saw it and I could not believe it.
Love happens at different paces with different people. When a person wants to have a relationship with someone it’s best to do it with your whole self not just part. It does wonders when you are finally able to get all your feelings out about something or someone that’s when you know you will be okay. That is when you will finally be able to start a new relationship to label that relationship.
If you are looking for a hot steamy sex and some hot steamy foreplay then this is for you. But remember that is not the only thing that this book has but it has two characters that deserved to be happy and the only way that that could happen was that they needed to be together.

I'd feel confident betting a lot of money that the narrator, Pamela Peters put a LOT of time and effort into preparing to record this audio book. I suspect that she thoroughly read Booty Call at least one time before actually recording her performance and probably has been trained as an actress. I say this because it's impossible not to notice the amount of emotion exuded in her words; the tone and pitch of Ms. Peters' voice changing to perfectly fit each character, adjusting to conform with the character's mood or situation. Ms. peters did not just read a script or a book; she put on a performance. Ms. Peters is unlike any narrator I've ever listen to listen to probably 50 audiobooks. I feel grateful that I had the opportunity to listen to this book in audio format, certain that my perception of this book would have been very different had I read the ebook where I would have, "heard" the voices in my head instead of through Ms. Peters voice. My feelings about and rating of Booty Call were positively impacted by this narrator's voice.
STORY: Booty Call is not a terrible book yet there is nothing about it that makes it extraordinary or unique either. I understand that some readers like books that do not contain a lot of angst and drama yet I felt this book was a bit too, "safe". For me, the premise behind Booty Call is a typical and predictable one. Basically, Booty Call is a Occasionally, I enjoy reading a laid back, drama-free, safe romance yet I could not feel the passion between the main characters so the romance wasn't all that believable. Come to think of it, I didn't feel emotion about ANY of the characters. I am open to reading more books by this author yet this particular book did not grab me or consume my thoughts like fabulous books do.

Booty Call captivated me from the very beginning. Bree is a great sister who accepts her brother for who he is. She tells is how it is and doesn't put up with anyone's attitude. You can tell that there is some hot chemistry between Max and Raelynn. Max is sexy and he knows it, so he uses that to his advantage with women. Raelynn is the opposite of what he is used to. Women are always throwing themselves at his feet. Raelynn is very sure of her and works too much. She is not a woman who falls at his fee; she is confidant and he likes that about her. And even though he denies and wants to fight his feelings he is falling for Raelynn. Although there are issues that they have to overcome at the end you know exactly where you want these two characters to end up.
You can feel every emotion through Abbies writing. She knows how to put it in words to give the reader that emotional feeling that keeps them coming back for more. It's like an emotional rollercoaster we get on knowing that have way through we will want to get off but we keep going until the end because the feeling excite us. Booty Call gets two thumbs up from me. Loved it XOXO

Okay, first of, Abbie did it again. She keeps captivating my attention with her stories. She has a way of drawing you in with the background of the characters, how they come together, and well damn if the sexy scenes don't get you hooked as well. Also, it doesn't hurt that she sets her scenes in Texas based places. Being a Houston girl, I love reading about Dallas and Austin, oh and kings wood.
Her characters Raelynn and Max where characters that had me rooting for them. Max was quicker at falling even with his past. Raelynn was harder, and it's usually the woman the first to fall. I loved seeing a strong willed female set in her ways and falling for a man than just rocked in the wooing side. I would love for a man to pursue me like Max did.
Oh yeah the sexy scenes didn't hurt. I saw a bit of Christian Grey in him. :) loved how she relinquished some control and that he didn't let it overpower the relationship. Love is worth taking chances and letting go of the past. Both these characters did that. I am glad they got their happy ending.
P.s. Abbie now I want a payday candy bar. I will always think of the awesome ending of booty call and Max when I buy them

Max is in pain. His father died three years ago and shortly after his wife left him. He is trying to keep the bar that is his family legacy going. His was to cope with the pain is meaningless hookups with no attachments; that is until his sister makes him finally take a meeting with Raelynn, a sexy liquor representative.
If you want a steamy book - just pick up a Abbie St. Claire - HOT! This is a great quick read; I classified it as novella as I was able to read it in a few hours before bed. I have come to realize Abbie St. Claire is the perfect author for me when I don't want to invest in a long story but I want something good to read. If she writes anything much longer I might combust while reading it LOL! This book is more than HOT scenes though, there was a good story line and some real personal issues the characters needed to address. I sort of wish it was longer because I really enjoyed Max and Raelynn. They had moments of sweet,definite HOT ones and a few just giggle worthy.
This was a gift from a friend and I am very thankful.

Max has been through the wringer with women, especially his ex wife. So now he has sworn off women forever. At least long term. They are good for a night of fun then they go on their way. That is until a fiery red head walks into his bar. It's not just her beauty that catches his eye, but her wild personality too.
Raelynn works for a tequila company and is a career girl. She spends more time working than play, but she is used to playing with men since she works in a man dominated world. She knows what she wants and she takes it before leaving them wanting more. It's easier to not get hurt again that way.
I loved Max. He had a lot of struggles in the book and I really felt for him. I was happy to see a resolution with his ex-wife. Rae was awesome. She had me laughing and crying as she went through ups and downs. I would liked to have seen more of her ex husband, but I was happy over all.
This book had amazingly well done editing and a great story line. You bet I'll be picking up this author's work again soon!

I was given a copy of Booty Call by the author for an honest review.
I started this book while working last night and finished it after I got home. Great book, loved the characters. Some parts in it felt really rushed and I think there could have been more explaining but the book flowed smoothly.
It starts out with Max`s sister talking, that kind of threw me. I assumed she was the main character until Max started talking, so that confused me a little. I am also a little confused about whether Max and Raelynn already knew each other for a while or if they just met. Those are just small things but I like details. The story moved fast with them getting together and doing their thing was a little rushed but would definitely recommend this book amd author.

I normally am not a big short story fan, however Abbie has made me a fan for life!!! Holy hotness!!! I never knew so much story and steaminess could be packed into a little over 100 pages, but I must say that Max and Raelynn are WOW!!!! I love them and was rooting for them from the get go. Page 1 until the very end and I was captivated. My only complaint was I wanted more Max and Raelynn. Love, love, love them and am begging Abbie to continue their story. She is an author that will be on my top favs forever. I will read anything she puts out, short, long, medium length. It doesn't matter because she is awesome. Go fall in love with them too!

This was a great book. I completed it in one setting.
Raelynn is an amazing character. She is strong and independent even as she struggles to stay true to herself as she is trying to overcome her past. I loved her and it was easy to sympathize with her.
Max is the type of man any woman would want. He changes his ways when he finds Raelynn because he is so drawn to her. He is intensely HOT! Add that to him being quite the gentleman and independent and strong and you have quite the dream.
I have read a couple other books by Abbie and I plan to continue reading her work. She is an amazing author and I love her work.

I was given a gift copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Two people who believe themselves broken and battered beyond repair after previous relationships that ended badly. Each one only looking for a “booty call” and nothing more they have mastered the art of love em and leave em. When Raelynn goes to the bar to promote her company’s liquor she meets Max. Max is lost from the moment he lays eyes on Raelynn. They each guard their hearts and are terrified of relationships. Will they be able to overcome their fears and get the life that they both deserve or will they let their pasts dictate the rest of their lives? Only one way to find out read this awesome book!

this is a erotic love story.. it is not graphic, but it does have a few scenes that are hot.. a lot of authors who write this genre, think it should be sex sex sex and only sex. Abbie is different. she makes you feel what the characters are feeling. From "hot, monkey sex, to deep agonising hurt. you must read this book..once you do, you will be a fan for life... she is a writing partner for DeLaine Roberts who is also an exceptional author. you can't go wrong with this book- unless you don't read it

So much more then just a "booty call."
The title of this book is very misleading...but in the best way possible!!! Abbie St. Claire has given us a very sweet love story about troubled pasts, broken hearts and new beginnings.
I loved Max and Raelynn's story from start to finish. I feel in love along with the characters. This book is all about new beginnings.
I highly recommend this book and am very excited to read the rest of Miss St. Claire's backlist of books. I am also anxiously awaiting part 2 of Max and Raelynn's story.

Max is going through a divorce and being a total fucktard, f*cking a different woman every night. Raelynn is a rep and meets Max. The chemistry between them is electrical. She tries to get him and he is just not quite ready. Then he gets a swift kick of his own ass and gets with Raelynn. He is very taken and off they go.

This great story about learning that love can happen not only once but again with a great loving male is possible. While they first thought it was only a "Booty Call" no one is sure what the heart leads us to. I fell in love with Max and Rae and cannot wait to read the next book. Thank you Abbie St. Claire for writing!!

Max Renfroe has turned into a playboy after his divorce never sleeping with the same woman twice. Even with the divorce over his continues to battle with ex wife over things that aren't hers. Raelynn Bardwell is a workaholic but that because of an abusive relationship she had been in. She comes to Max's bar to sale some new brand tequila her company was selling. Max become infatuated with Raelynn from the moment he saw her. Just one look at each other had them knowing that their lives were going to be changed.
One amazing night together wasn't enough for Max however Raelynn was too busy with work to even stop and enjoy it. Max wasn't about to give up on the one woman that made him feel alive again so he pursues until he gets her to admit that one night isn't enough. Trying to work and see Max is hard when you have a lot of travel for work thrown in the mix. Coming home between trips they have some time together and their feelings grow deeper. Raelynn is afraid because of how bad her choices in men have been before but Max knows she's the one for him its just convincing her to give them a chance. When she is up for a promotion that might take her to another state she tries to end things between them but the pull is too strong for it to stick. Raelynn's boss met Max at a office function and makes a decision that changes the path that Raelynn's on for the better. She gets her promotion she's been working for however she doesn't have to move away in order to get the job. This book was a really good. The play back and fourth between Max and Raelynn showed the struggle a couple with different career paths go through to be together. This story has it all great characters, hot sex and a great story line. If you haven't read it I recommend that you do so now.
One amazing night together wasn't enough for Max however Raelynn was too busy with work to even stop and enjoy it. Max wasn't about to give up on the one woman that made him feel alive again so he pursues until he gets her to admit that one night isn't enough. Trying to work and see Max is hard when you have a lot of travel for work thrown in the mix. Coming home between trips they have some time together and their feelings grow deeper. Raelynn is afraid because of how bad her choices in men have been before but Max knows she's the one for him its just convincing her to give them a chance. When she is up for a promotion that might take her to another state she tries to end things between them but the pull is too strong for it to stick. Raelynn's boss met Max at a office function and makes a decision that changes the path that Raelynn's on for the better. She gets her promotion she's been working for however she doesn't have to move away in order to get the job. This changes everything for Raelynn and she ready to see where her relationship with Max can go.

I love these audio books written by Abbie St Claire! This book is an erotic romance with a real story to it. Not at all smutty, but very good! It is hot and sexy and classy too! Booty Call is book 3 of this series and so far all 3 books I read have been awesome. They are exciting and hold my interest completely!
The author Abbie St Claire does a fantastic job on her writings. Back when book 1 came out, I had never heard of this author and now I can't wait for the next audio to come out! All of her audio books are exciting and the narrator, Pam peters does a fantastic job on the deliveries of each and every story. Ms Peters has a comforting and soothing southern drawl that just pulls me in. I find her voice captivating always! Together these two ladies are explosive to say the least! They are magical.

Abbi St. Claire really knows how to grab you and keep you into her story! Another great book that didn't disappoint! Raelynn had a great career and was moving forward except for a relationship. She didn't believe in having another relationship so she kept that on the back burner. She met Max and it was only suppose to be a booty call, nothing more. Fate has other ideas. Lots and lots of steamy sex and a bit of humor. Definitely a must read!

I received an ARC eBook in exchange for an honest review. This is the first book I have read by Abbie St. Claire. A fast paced, delectably steamy and utterly romantic novella. I found it hard to put down. I loved Max and Raelynn's story. Two damaged and hurting souls find each other and their budding love leads to ultimate healing for both! Highly addictive read!

Max and Raelynn were fun and sexy with lots of chemistry from the start. What these two started as an easy booty call quickly escalate into much more when both have no plans for such thing to happen. Both have bad experiences in past love and have to overcome demons.

Gifted an ARC for an honest review...
Two skittish people, who weren't looking for what they found in each other. I enjoyed the book's pace, it was well developed, and the H/h were relatable characters. I like strong women who don't roll over for the H, and Raelynn was that. Quick, easy read more like a novella. Thanks, Abbie

With a title like Booty Call how could this book be anything but great right? I have to say that the best character in this book was Bree with her dont take no sh** tell it like it is attitude, I just loved it. A really good read for the most part but some parts felt a little rushed but other then that it was a smooth read.

There's just something about a playboy that turns legit! I love stories like this where the man swears off love and then...bam...the right woman comes along and changes his mind! Super good read...I definitely recommend it!

I loved this book and such a great story of Love, heartbreak, growth and healing. Two folks that have been beat up by love find out there is a way to find real love it just may take a little bit of work to trust again. Love the characters and the story! Great read!
