Wow...just wow! You have nailed it Emma Shade. I have loved every book in this series and I'm not a big paranormal reader but you have captured my attention and you have kept it...and that is hard to do. Each book just keeps getting better.
It starts out with Lily leaving both Ashton and Blake behind and running from the pain of her best friend's death. She takes off with Alaistair, Paige and Jeremy Morrow to train and work for their exclusive organization. She feels leaving and working for them will keep her hidden and will keep her loved ones safe. She blames herself for the death of her best friend. Something she is having a hard time recovering from.
Ashton Ryder is determined to find Lily knowing his deception was the biggest reason why she left so abruptly. His role in her leaving is a deceptive one but he knows until he can find her and explain his reasonings to her that he will never have a chance of getting Lily back and that is something he is not willing to let happen.
Blake Moore is also determined to find Lily. He needs her to know how he feels about her. Blake has secrets of his own and in order for Lily to open up and give her heart over to him, he knows he must find her before it's too late and his secrets are exposed.
Lily finds herself caught up in a whirlwind of craziness. Vampires and Conjurers are coming out of the woodwork and Lily is smack dab right in the middle. Will Ashton and Blake find her before it's too late? And if they do happen to find her, will she be able to make a choice or will she walk away from them both?
The Vampire and Conjurer world's collide and secrets are exposed. These secrets will cause them to pay a high price and will Ashton, Lily and Blake be able to withstand the outcome of these secrets or will they be doomed forever? Will they be lost in a world of loneliness and darkness? One of these three will pay a high price and it breaks my heart. But, I know without a doubt, that they will be okay and get their HEA. They just have to.
"It was going to tear my heart in two, losing him this way. But I knew it was for the best. Better to just get it over with, like ripping off a Band-Aid. Only this Band-Aid was going to hurt like hell, tearing a piece of my heart off with it."
I was not able to put this book down once I started. I had to get to the end to see if Lily picked my man and to see how everything from the first two books would transpire. I loved both Ashton and Blake but, with my whole heart, I knew that Lily belonged with Ashton and he was my choice for her. But, no matter who she chooses, it's a win win...I won't say who she picked...you're just gonna have to read it to find out. ;)

I have to start by saying that I have been desperately waiting for Finding Lily by Emma Shade to be release. I just had to know......who does Emma choose, what happened to Sam......what about Paige and Alistair......who is Jeremy? Let me tell you this book
Finding Lily picks up 2 months after Lily has left all that she knows behind her. She has been training and honing her skills as both Vampire and Conjour. With the help of Paige and Alistair she has started growing into here abilities. Now she an Paige are on their first assignment and little does she know but the secret of what she truly is is out. Now both Vampires and Conjours are out to get her. Both sides want to see her dead and someone on the inside is feeding them the information on where to find her. But there is hope, because her friends, the ones she left behind, the ones that she is trying to protect, are also trying to find her. It is a race against the clock to see who will find her first, who will win her heart once and for all.
"You're mine Liliana. Don't play games with me. You won't win."
Ashton! He has been going out of his ever loving mind trying to find Lily. He has called in every favor that he can think of. Everyone connected to Ashton in the Vampire community is out looking for Lily, trying to help him find her and bring her home. He knows that once they find her, there are things that he kept from her, (YEP it is a secret cause I am NOT going to spoil it) something that could make Lily turn away from him. He promised her that he would never keep secrets from her again, and believe me this one is a doozey! So now all he can do is wait and hope that when they find her, he can make things right between them.
"Don't ever push me out of a dream again. Okay?"
Blake! He is on the hunt for Lily too. He wants her safe, he wants to try and win her heart. He has been honest with her about his feelings and about the life that they could have together, but there is a BIG problem. Yep, you guessed it, Blake has been less than truthful to not only Lily, but the rest of the group. Believe me when he drops his bombshell, everyone will be affected in one way or another.
"Speaking of warming it up. Do you guys use tampons and stuff to make a vampire version of tea?"
OMG Sam! He is still as crazy, funny, lovable and loyal as ever. I am totally gonna get a BFF like Sam. He will stop at nothing to get Lily back where she belongs and in the words of good old Sam, "Once she knows I'm alive, it'll be okay. And I'll stangle her for leaving." He continues to always be there for Lily, giving her advice on how to handle Blake and Ashton. Adding the humor to the group that everyone loves so much, being the person that in the end, everyone just wants to have around.
"Are you challenging me? Alistair growled. "Because, trust me I'll drag you out of her by any means neccessary."
Paige and Alistair still have the love/hate/bicker thing going on, but as they say in the movies it is a find line between love and hate. These two are very protective of each other, but have just not moved on to the next level yet. Although, to everyone around them, it is a plain as the noses on their faces. I can't wait to see what might happen with these two in the future.
Sorry if you are looking for spoilers, you are out of luck, cause I am not going to spoil the best part of the book, but I can tell you, that FINALLY Lily does make her choice and it is the perfect ending to this story. I look forward to more stories by Emma. Can't wait to see what is in store next for our merry band of misfits. I loved this story so very much that I gave it 5 Super Stars.

I am not normally a paranormal reader but I read the first book in this series based on a friend's recommendation and I got HOOKED! I have devoured every book in the series and couldn't wait for Finding Lily to come out so I could finally find out who she freaking chooses!! Will she choose Ashton or my sweet, beloved, handsome hunk of a man, Blake? Can you tell which team I am on?
As usual, Emma does not disappoint and this book is packed with action and lines that made me LOL several times. Seriously, where does she come up with some of this stuff?
"Our make up painted on like we were gang banged by crayons."
That is just one of the many hysterical one liners scattered throughout the book. And the men...as if Ashton and Blake aren't enough man candy, we get introduced to Jamison...another delicious vampire! What is it with this Lily chick getting all the hot men?
I don't want to give away any details, but I will tell you this book was one of the best yet and will keep you turning the pages well into the night. I highly recommend it and the entire series! I promise you won't be disappointed!

I am a huge fan of this series!!! I loved this book from start to finish with the only downside being the end as this was the final book. However there are spin off books on the way and I hope Lily makes an appearance in those too.
Anyway back to this book, like the others the story continues right where we left off. We were taken on a great ride of fun, laughter and some stressful moments too. This is a must read to finish the series with a HEA after a few tears. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did. Emma you sweet thing you have a fantastic series and the biggest heart. Thank you for sharing Lily and the gang with us and can't wait to keep reading your work! xoxox
