Dean Crowne has lived a sadistic life. He wasn’t born wanting to be a monster, but rather made one by his father. He has never seen himself as anything other than a horrible man without a soul, until he sees Faith. She is everything he has dreamed about having, but knows he couldn’t have for himself. She is beautiful, sweet, and full of life. She looks happy and carefree, everything Dean would like to be. When she is taken by kidnappers in order to tempt Dean, he knows he has to save her. He can see her goodness and he can see her hopefulness, and somehow he hopes she can save him too.

Dean Crowne is sadistic there is no doubt about that, but somehow you are pulled to root for him in this story. A simple vacation in Europe goes from a night of fun to being kidnapped for sex trafficking in an instant. This story has many twists and turns, keeping you constantly turning that page. In the end, you see Dean's true colors.
Another captivating book by this author. The story will reel you in. The characters and their own internal struggles will entice you to stay. An amazing read! I couldn't put it down. Go forth and read. You won't be sorry!
